Super nice pizza maker. The pizza is crispy and has a great taste. Mainly to take away. I ate on site. There was no cutlery. 😝Since you sit at the bar in the bistro, there is a deduction for the ambience. I'll definitely come back because it's really delicious. 👍🏽
Today I was in Sarlawez and we wanted to have lunch at the Yemeni restaurant Nakhla. After we entered, we saw the menu. To be honest, I was surprised that it was not as usual. I asked the young man who was there and he said that the restaurant had served Aleppo food, meaning grilled meals. I said, “We have arrived and we have arrived to try the food. I hope you have not tried the cleanliness and the food. The table is very bad and the bathrooms are also something that I am afraid I will never advise.”
First and last time, we were 6 people and took a platter of antipasto which he charged us 84 euros just for the platter!!!!! In addition, there are 2 of us who took meat with gorgonzola, we were served a dish with ramsauce which was very good, I told the boss that the dish didn't taste like gorgonzola, he replied that he didn't have enough. and no commercial gesture on the bill!!!! A scam!!!!!!
Imagine that YOU 🫵 are an average 14 year old kid, being told by your parents that you and your family were going to eat at a 2 star Michelin restaurant. How would you feel? Excited? Happy? Anxious, maybe? Well, all I can say is that this restaurant brought me through a rollercoaster of emotions. However, none of them were negative, by ANY means. My dining experience here was astoundingly stupendous. It left me shaken to the core, but with happiness and pure satisfaction! The moment I stepped foot into this restaurant, my anxiety of not meeting the restaurants “posh” standards immediately disappeared, as me and my family were welcomed with open arms into the fine establishment, and the waiter that led us to our table even went as far as to remember my mother’s surname, which the reservation was under. This may seem like a small gesture, but it meant so much to us, as back home in Singapore, an experience like this would be incredibly rare. After we were sat down, a waiter immediately offered us a selection of waters and alcohol, and even recommended us champagne. With every course, the waiter took his time to meticulously and explicitly, whilst also calmly explain the contents of the dish, where the ingredients originated from, and for a particular course, even how the dish earned its name. Besides being provided with astounding, world-class experience, the food itself was taste-bud tingling, mouthwatering and just absolutely delicious! Each dish packed an explosion of flavour, sour, sweet, umami, it was like a balloon of pure flavors exploded in my mouth like confetti! Each bite of each dish nearly brought me to tears of joy! Each dish had a perfect combination of flavor and texture, and we could tell that all the dishes were created with ingredients of an utmost quality. Besides the amazing service and food, the atmosphere was also really calming and casual, rather than being very posh, which I was afraid of as I might not have been able to meet the high, “posh”, standards. However, I did not need to be worried at all, as the restaurant had calming, comfortable lighting and lit candles on each table, which paired with the great selection of music, made the atmosphere incredibly welcoming. All in all, this restaurant was amazing, and if there was an ultimate form of happiness out there, this restaurant has helped me achieve that, simply through food.
