East in Saarlouis

Take away bestellt. Und wir hatten großen Hunger, sonst hätten wir wahrscheinlich nach dem ersten Bissen aufgehört, so waren es ein paar mehr und dafür ist uns jetzt schlecht! Nudeln triefend vor Fett, das angepriesene Saison-Gemüse besteht aus paar Stückchen Brokkoli und Blumenkohl sowie mit irgendeiner roten Gewürzmischung überzogenen Kartoffeln! Erstens sind Kartoffeln kein Gemüse, und passen zweitens null auf Nudeln. Und auch nicht auf Reis, denn auf dem anderen bestellten Gericht kam exakt die gleiche "Gemüse"-Kombi zum Einsatz, nur eben auf Reis, dazu zur absoluten Geschmacklosigkeit durchfrittiertes, kaltes Fleisch mit ebenso kalter Sauce... Weitere Details spare ich mir, sonst kommt es mir hoch! Noch nie so schlecht chinesisch gegessen. Entsprechend ist am Ende nicht gerade wenig im Müll gelandet, also das Geld war für die Tonne = teuer. Daher: definitiv keine Empfehlung.

Ich war vor Ort essen und bin rundum begeistert! Schon optisch war die Bowl ein echtes Highlight. Die Ente war perfekt zubereitet – außen herrlich knusprig, innen saftig und zart. Geschmacklich absolut top! Die Ramen-Nudeln waren schön bissfest und harmonierten wunderbar mit der würzigen Lagooma-Chili-Sauce. Die Sauce hatte eine tolle, aromatische Schärfe mit Tiefe – intensiv, aber sehr angenehm. Besonders schön fand ich die frischen Beilagen wie Brokkoli und das halbierte Ei, die das Gericht perfekt abgerundet haben. Auch die knusprigen Kartoffelstücke waren eine tolle Ergänzung. Als Vorspeise gab es einen kleinen Rohkostsalat mit Sesam – frisch, knackig und leicht. Zusammen mit der Chili-Sauce ein super Start ins Essen. Alles war liebevoll angerichtet, frisch zubereitet und geschmacklich hervorragend abgestimmt. Dazu eine angenehme Atmosphäre im Restaurant. Ich komme definitiv wieder und kann es absolut weiterempfehlen!

Wer Asiatisches Essen mag wird diesen Laden lieben. Das Essen ist hier eine 10/10.

Ich war jetzt zum zweiten Mal da, und hatte beide male eine Poke bowl (einmal Tintenfischbällchen, einmal mit Kung Pao), und war beide Male sehr Zufrieden. Die Preise gehen vollkommen in Ordnung, Da sowohl Qualität als auch Quantität des Essens mehr als zufriedenstellend sind. Besonders positiv beeindruckt war ich von der Aubergine, da ich zwar normalerweise kein großer Fan davon bin, diese hier allerding sehr lecker fand. Auch den Service kann ich nur loben, sehr freundlich und das Essen wird auch in einer angenehmen Geschwindigkeit zubereitet und serviert. Alles in Allem kann ich nichts negatives über dieses Restaurant sagen und werde auch in Zukunft weiterhin hier essen

Das ist also euer 8.46 Euro Tintenfisch Salat...wollt ihr mich verarschen!!!

Gemütliches Schnellrestaurant mit super schnellem und freundlichen Service. Die Preise sind sehr angenehm, das Essen wirklich frisch und mega lecker, die Portionen üppig, genau das richtige wenn man nicht all zu viel Zeit hat.

Während man am Eingang kurz denkt, man wäre in einem Imbiss, zeigt sich der hinteren Teil der Location als gemütlich eingerichtetes Restaurant. Von der Zubereitung im vorderen Bereich bekommt man nichts mit. Der Service war sehr nett und aufmerksam und die Speisen rundherum lecker.

Immer wieder ein Highlight. Immer wenn ich in Deutschland und in Saarlouis bin MUSS ich einfach mindestens 1 x in EAST um meine Nummer 31 Bowl mit geschmortem Hähnchenfleischnzu genießen. Das EAST in Saarlouis besticht durch seine Auswahl an leckeren und stets frisch zubereiteten Gerichten aus der asiatische Küche. Alles ist wirklich super lecker und dazu auch wirklich absolut preiswert. Die Portionen sind Recht groß und alles wird auch wirklich sehr ansehnlich angerichtet. Und nach dem Essen gibt's auch immer noch eine Runde Reiswein, Eistee oder Espresso auf's Haus. Innen hat das EAST ca. 20 - 25 Sitzplätze in angenehmer Atmosphäre. Das EAST ist wirklich sehr zu empfehlen und nicht vergleichbar mit den klassischen chinesischen oder asiatischen Restaurants oder Imbissen. Das EAST bietet auch "Food to go" an und betreibt ebenso einen Straßenverkauf.

Die Gerichte sind sehr lecker und gut zubereitet.Das Rindfleisch ist sehr zart geschmort und zergeht förmlich auf der Zunge.Komm und probier es mal!

Das Essen ist sehr lecker und relativ preiswert. Machte alles einen frischen Eindruck. Speziell Vegetarier (aber natürlich nicht nur) finden hier eine angenehm große Auswahl. Der Tofu ist hausgemacht und sehr lecker.

I just had a fantastic, fresh, homemade wonton soup – it tasted amazing! The shrimp were freshly fried, and it came with seaweed salad that was also fresh and delicious. There was even a complimentary side of fresh coleslaw! I'll be back!

The food is always incredibly delicious, everything is fresh, and the portions are generous. So the value for money is absolutely fantastic. The staff is also friendly, and you often get delicious homemade iced tea while you wait for your order. I love this restaurant and always enjoy going there!

A takeaway snack bar in the front and a stylish restaurant in the back. The food is presented in a beautiful, modern style, but unfortunately, some items were almost cold. We didn't really enjoy it. In conclusion: Our first impression will also be our last. It's a shame, really! The other reviews had given us hope for a highlight.

Update 8/2025 Still the best "Asian" place for miles around. ......... Small but perfectly formed. Waiting time because of fresh preparation. Friendly staff. Very good value for money. Much better than the constantly warm, quick-cooked food from the "elephant" shop across the street.

The East is a very tastefully decorated restaurant. I went there for the first time today. The service is excellent, and all the staff are super friendly! The food was delicious – I especially liked the traditional Chinese pancake. It was freshly made. The homemade iced tea was also delicious. I would definitely eat here again! :-)

I can't rate the ambience, I had it delivered to my home. But we'll get a picture of it soon. Orders are only possible from 50 euros, with a 2 euro delivery surcharge. But worth every cent. The beef in the Noodle soup fell apart, the Sian Chai mixed so well with the taste and the Tea Egg was delicious. The Koriander topped it of and rounded it up. The stuff is super friendly nice and attentive and the store looks super neat and clean. Finally another great place that doesn't serve the same Chinese Germanised food. A delight to eat here. Nice little restaurant. Very nice staff and the boss himself is also super nice and came to our table and asked us if we liked it. Good vegetarian selection, but nothing directly vegan. But I was able to cancel the egg in one dish without any problem in order to “veganize” it. My friends and I really enjoyed it and the price was also great. Would definitely go again.

The dishes I've tried so far have been super tasty. Fresh and high quality ingredients were used. The spices also went really well with the food. The portion size was decent and the price was fair. I also received very friendly service. While I was waiting I got a free cup of tea, which also tasted very good. I can only recommend this restaurant and will definitely go again.

Ordered food here. Delivery time was absolutely within reason, the messenger was very friendly. We all ordered bowls, which were incredibly delicious! The meat was super tender and the vegetables and sauces were also amazing. Definitely ordering here again!

I have no idea what it's like if you eat there on site, but what you can order from Lieferando is not possible at all. We tried 3 bowls and various appetizers/small dishes. I don't want to exaggerate, but it was so bad that we couldn't eat anymore because we felt sick. The “Teriyaki” sauce in the bowls didn’t work at all. The fact that every bowl without exception has the same side dishes that don't even go together is simply not acceptable. For me, potatoes with chicken spices have nothing to do with “seasonal vegetables” and certainly have no place in a bowl like this. Unfortunately, the starters were all inedible. The only tasty thing were the frozen wings, but they forgot the teriyaki sauce! And they are frozen and you can buy them in any other similar restaurant or directly from a wholesaler and fry them yourself. *Addendum: If the review was “fake” as they write here, then we certainly wouldn’t have spent €70 just to give the food a bad rating? What does this give us? We don't have a restaurant. And: You only provide your cell phone number for the day of the order in case there are problems with the delivery and we don't want to be called several times afterwards! I believe them that they also have good dishes, maybe we were just unlucky, but then you still have to accept an honest, constructive, negative review.

Sympathisches Personal, tolles Essen, authentisches Ambiente

Relativ unscheinbarer Laden von außen. Relativ wenige Sitzplätze, aber das ist lediglich dem Gebäude geschuldet. Das Restaurant ist modern eingerichtet und in allen Ecken sauber. Die Preise für die Speisen sind sehr gut und die Qualität überzeugt. Der Besitzer (ein älterer Herr) hat sich sehr um die Sauberkeit seines Ladens gekümmert und hat akribisch Tische geputzt, nachdem die Gäste gegangen sind. Die Bedienung war auch sehr nett und hat zwischendurch auch immer gefragt, ob mit dem Essen alles in Ordnung sei. Das einzige was man vielleicht einen Ticken besser machen können: Essen gleichzeitig servieren. Das wurde nämlich nicht gemacht. Aber abgewogen an den vorherigen Dingen, fällt es nicht so schwer ins Gewicht. 10/10 would do it again.

East bietet authentische asiatiasche Gerichte (bei einem sehr guten Preis/Leistungsverhältnis), mit immer wieder neuen Ideen und kleinen Veränderungen der frischen Zutaten je nach Jahreszeit. Außerdem pflegen sie eine sehr freundliche und zuvorkommende Bedienung bei entspannter Atmosphäre und in geschmackvollem Ambiente. Neben den Hauptgerichten gibt es auch gute Desserts, die man so sonst im Saarland nur sehr selten finden dürfte.

Sehr gutes Restaurant. Wir fahren hier regelmäßig von St. Ingbert aus hin. Alles ist immer lecker, die Portionen sind groß, die Produkte sind immer von sehr guter Qualität. Drinnen ist es gemütlich, der Service ist ausgezeichnet. Vielen Dank für alles.
