Delicious food and great service

A pleasant hotel in a very central location, very clean rooms and a good price/performance ratio. Very good beds, small point deduction for the water temperature in the shower that can hardly be regulated and the joints in the bathroom that have become unsightly. Very good breakfast, you can also get individually prepared eggs if you wish. Cozy dining room with beautiful, plaster-free stone walls. The menu has now been significantly reduced compared to older Internet entries; for example, there are no longer any steaks. Overall, good quality, although a bit too expensive for what is offered. There are around ten parking spaces behind the house, one of which you should reserve when booking - the winding Saarburg doesn't have many parking spaces. Despite the small points of criticism, a highly recommended house! Gladly again!

Great burger, good portions. Price-performance ratio is right here. The cocktail and the Hugo were also very tasty. Points deducted because the cutlery urgently needs to be replaced. Knife blunt. Very affordable stainless steel cutlery. Ambiance kept simple. The outside area could be a little better maintained.

Pizza was almost very good. Lasagna was good, but not too big (16.00€). Service ok. with room for improvement (actively offer dessert/espresso, ask for a second drink... always keep an eye on the guests...). In the summer it's definitely nice to sit on the terrace.

Das Hotel ist schon etwas älter. Schön gelegen am Wasserfall. Zimmer sind zweckmäßig eingerichtet, Bett ist sehr bequem. Die Couch sollte mal ausgetauscht werden. Im Bad war eine große Eckbadewanne, die für eine schnelle Dusche unpraktisch ist. Das Frühstück war für 17,50 Euro zu teuer.

Food okay, location very nice. All in all, we would be happy to come back if we travel to Saarburg again. I can't write anything about the rooms. We were only there for dinner.

Lieferung kam viel später als angekündigt, Essen dementsprechend nur noch lauwarm. Soße der Pasta al forno viel zu laff, hat nach nicht viel geschmeckt. Calzone sah eher aus wie ein labbriges Croissant. Leider können wir daher keine bessere Bewertung abgeben. Lieferant aber recht freundlich.

Vietnamese snack bar in Saarburg, good selection of dishes, freshly prepared, but of course everything is already pre-cooked or chopped. Otherwise okay, nothing more snacks in terms of price, but those are the times.

Is there self-service on the terrace? I have no idea... There is no reference to it anywhere. We sat outside a total of 3 times in the last few days and were noticed by the waitress each time but were not served 🤷 but given the prices I don't see the point of getting my things myself...
