Every nice, serves schnitzel and pizzas. The flammkuchen is a nice appetizer. The Mediterranean salad came with shrimp, it was delicious. We also had schnitzel wiener art which was very good. The schnitzel paprika’s sauce was on the sweet side. The pollo al for no entree was huge and heavy, but very tasty. Nice restaurant! The salad dressing was similar to thousand island.

Luckily, there was still a spot available on Halloween night, but reservations are recommended for dinner. The homemade pork schnitzels are definitely recommended, and the chicken schnitzel (more like a breaded chicken fillet) was also delicious. The staff was very friendly and attentive, and when there was a problem with one of the chicken schnitzels, they immediately replaced it with a new pork schnitzel. The apple strudel and lava cake for dessert are also highly recommended.

Delicious food in a beautiful place.

The schnitzel were really good. The salmon was a bit dry in some areas. Overall the service was nice polite and fast. The terrace view is really super nice.

A lovely restaurant in a beautiful location next to the waterfall in the heart of Saarburg. The service is very friendly and fast. There's a wide selection, from schnitzels to pizzas and from grilled specialties to lasagna. In short, something for everyone. The food was perfectly prepared and served hot. It costs less than €50 for two people. That's what you'd pay in the Netherlands just to walk in and say hello. It's a wonderful place to be, both inside and outside on the terrace. 👌 In other words, highly recommended.

We had reserved a table about eight weeks in advance. The restaurant is located right next to the waterfall, and the server was very attentive. The food was very good. We felt very comfortable. A website where one could find menu items and further information about the restaurant would be desirable.

We spent a week on vacation in Saarburg and ate here several times. From schnitzel to steak, everything was delicious. The service was excellent and super friendly.

Despite peak season, we were able to go two days in a row without a reservation. The service was welcoming and friendly. Delicious food at great prices.

Great food. I was worried about a tourist trap, but it was anything but. Delicious chicken breast and chicken cordon bleu. A beer and a coke were included, and the service was excellent, fast, friendly, and attentive. It was perfectly reasonable, and we were out and about for €53.

My husband and I went to this restaurant for lunch. We had Pollo al Forno and Pizza Bruschetta. It was delicious, and we highly recommend it. The service was very friendly and attentive. So, thumbs up and give it a try. Definitely recommended.

Unfortunately, the pizza was mediocre. The dough and toppings weren't what we expected. The pepperoni sausage was a bit more like a spicier salami. When your glass is empty, they don't ask if you'd like another drink. The salad was a bit lackluster, and there was not much dressing.

The Zunftstube am Wasserfall restaurant is a very nice restaurant where you can sit outside right by the water when the weather is nice. The price/performance ratio is absolutely perfect. The waiters are all extremely friendly and very attentive. There's something for everyone on the menu. The dishes we ordered were all delicious and beautifully presented. If we're ever in Saarburg again, we'll be happy to stop by the Zunftstube am Wasserfall restaurant again. In short, the Zunftstube am Wasserfall restaurant is definitely highly recommended.

The food was delicious and freshly prepared. The portions were generous, and the value for money was 100% spot on. The visit was definitely worth it. The staff was also very friendly and welcoming. I would definitely visit this restaurant again.

Great restaurant, quality of the food is good (don't expect Michelin level, that's not what we came for 😀) Staff is very friendly and attentive, not pushy/rushed which we unfortunately have seen here more often than not. Just a good plate of food located on the water.

Delicious food, schnitzel and a hackfleisch steak. The terrace is perfectly located near the waterfall. Operation correct, but not really interested. Also almost no guests, unlike the surrounding restaurants. We thought this was very unfair given the quality of the food. But we would have appreciated asking how it tasted and whether we would have liked coffee or dessert.

Underneath everything, the staff was unfriendly and unprofessional, we were there at 2:15 p.m. and wanted to order food (cooks open until 3:00 p.m.), then the waitress said it was impossible to get anything otherwise she could never take a break, then we asked why the kitchen was open until 3:00 p.m. (there were only 5-6 tables occupied), then she said that would be too much stress, which we questioned a bit, then we wanted to at least order something to drink, then she said We should go somewhere else if we are unhappy that there is nothing to eat. Absolutely no recommendation!!!

Fantastisch gegeten!! De cordon Blue was overgoten met een heerlijke bechamelsaus , de spaghetti arabiatta top gekruid en spicy en de kinderen genoten van een pizza. Prijs kwaliteit verhouding goed. Bediening vriendelijk. Een echte aanrader!

Food was tasty, there were three of us. Beforehand we shared pizza bread with garlic. As a main course we had a wiener schnitzel, a paprika schnitzel and a hack steak. That all tasted good. Beautiful location near the waterfall. Simply good food for a good price

Nice establishment, friendly service and value for money. What others say in bad reviews: for just drinks you go to a bar/cafe, for perfect Italian food you go to an Italian... The pizzas we ate here were very tasty and we will definitely come back, because there was a very extensive menu of which we want to taste more!! ❤️❤️❤️

We were in Saarburg and spent a very nice day there. To round off the day we looked for a restaurant near the waterfall, our choice was the restaurant "zum Wasserfall", we were immediately greeted in a friendly manner and were given a table there beautifully landscaped terrace directly at the waterfall. We got the food quickly and it was really tasty. Unfortunately, things didn't go so well from then on, we were simply ignored despite there being fewer guests, and no one asked if we wanted any more drinks or dessert. Even when clearing the plates we couldn't order. The waiter came and collected the plates and before one of the 6 of us could say anything he was gone. All 3 waiters were constantly in or in front of the door of the restaurant but no one came or even looked at us. So we enjoyed the beautiful place for about 30 minutes with our throats dry. Because of the lack of service, we could only get a bill after we moved ourselves. That's a shame, we would all have had something to drink and would have liked to have had a good time. If the service is appropriate, I generally tip around 10%, as is appropriate, but there was nothing here. Unfortunately, this happened to us for the second time during our vacation.

We had a great meal and good service right beside the water. They have a good range of food and both meals we had were good quality. The staff are efficient and helpful, much better than other places in the town. We will definitely eat there again and try other menu items.

Unfortunately we couldn't eat here because the kitchen was supposedly closed at 8:15 p.m. on a Friday in August. According to Google they are open until 10 p.m. So that's very surprising and I thought that's something we should experience in recessions.

The ambience is of course very nice by the river/waterfall, very touristy and crowded. The food was expensive and unfortunately we didn't like it. Lasagna and a grill plate. Service was friendly, everything came quickly.

The location of the restaurant is very nice, but the service and food were highly inadvisable. We opted for Italian food (pizza and lasagna). Pizza seemed as if it had been warmed up from the Edeka. I think lasagna came from the microwave. So choose a real pizzeria if you want Italian food, don't go here.

Wir haben 3 x Pizza, 1 x Griechischer Salat, 1 x Sardisches Pizzabrot und 6 Getränke. Die Pizzen waren überdurchschnittlich gut 2+, daß Pizzabrot und der Griechische Salat waren gut 2. Personal schnell, freundlich und Aufmerksam. Ich kann dieses Restaurant empfehlen. Preis/Leistung Verhältnis für 4 Personen stimmt.

We had lunch here once and had dinner once in the evening. Very friendly staff, we thought we sometimes suffered from a language barrier, our German is not great so we spoke English. Dog was welcome and the food was good. Beautiful terrace near the waterfall.

I invited my wife to dinner in Saarburg, which also meant a 45-minute drive for us. If only we had read the reviews beforehand. The location at the waterfall is not bad, but a conversation with the other person can only be carried out at high volume. That's why I gave it 3 stars. Of course, this has nothing to do with the operator. The welcome was ok, we were asked if we wanted food. We chose a Pizza Tonno and a Pizza Salmone. I agree with L. Li that it is a tourist trap. It's a shame to serve something like that to the customer. A pack of 3 from Aldi for 1.99 is certainly no worse. Heavily salted and the dough tastes like prepackaged. After my wife ate about 3cm strips she gave up. Because we only had breakfast, I made it to about 50%. The response to payment was also subpar. Zero insight. “We sell 150 pizzas a day and no one complains,” the cashier told us. €36 for 2 pizzas, a non-alcoholic wheat and a bottled shandy. I determined the diameter because I was curious about the bill. There was no bill either; Then I didn't ask for any more. We were served. Maybe there are better dishes there than pizza.

The location is lovely, with a serene ambiance. However, I found the food to be average; while my friend enjoyed the pasta, it didn't quite meet my expectations. The location is great, with a terrace by the waterfall. Lots of space. Sounds very great, but this restaurant is just a tourist trap. Food is edible...but so is a frozen pizza Unfortunately the kitchen is not convincing. Staff is nice. Place could use a spruce up (outside awning with signage too taped, not very inviting). A pity!

Ate pizza with 3 people. They weren't really tasty, they were way too thickly filled so they could be called rancid. Service was friendly but the staff was mainly (audibly) busy with each other, the restaurant was almost empty so they probably had little to do. For dessert they only had 2 types of cake, so that was also disappointing. We skipped it. Even though the bill wasn't too bad, we see no reason to come back here again.
