Restaurant Bistro Woods in Saarburg

We ate here twice during our stay. We enjoyed it very much on both evenings. The only point of criticism is that the price for the extra sauces is disproportionate to the little bit of sauce you get. One star deducted for that.

The hamburgers weren't great in terms of taste. They were also served on a paper base, which dissolved very quickly, so you constantly had the feeling that you were eating paper. The absolute lowest point, however, was that the tray slipped out of the boss's hand while serving the drinks, two beers and a coke were broken, and I got a lot of the liquid, and my shoes, pants, sweater and jacket were messed up. There was no apology and certainly no serious compensation. He just wanted to deduct the children's ice cream (€4) from the bill (€96). Ridiculous. I had the strong feeling that making money was more important than caring for the well-being of the guests, in this case myself. Even if you have a monopoly position on the campsite, you don't have to treat your guests so disrespectfully. In my opinion, this bistro is not recommended.

The only restaurant in the area. The food was okay, the downside was the paper underneath the citizen that constantly stuck to the food. The service was very bad, the drinks we ordered were poured over my husband's pants, jacket and sweater, that can happen, but we were not offered a reasonable discount for a sum of €96. Only €4 for 2 children's ice cream, not appropriate. We will not eat at this restaurant again.

Best food with great atmosphere. Many varieties in food and the taste is also good. No rush hours in weekend.

Everything is alright. Due to personnel problems, only 1 chaos around 5 p.m. when everyone in the restaurant has to order. This resulted in large groups waiting among the diners.

Closed almost every day. Open 2 days a week in high season. Take away/snack bar closed at 5pm. Not worthy of Landal. Food comes out of the freezer and is worthless. Too expensive. Time for a new manager at this park!

Very friendly service, delicious food, well suited for family outings, large playground with a mini golf course directly on the premises, great ambience on the large restaurant terrace with a direct view of the playground, adjacent small snack bar for snacks on the go, additional seating in the high season with a stage with animation & music, always worth a trip!

I think 2 vegan burgers with fries and salad for €19 are okay. In terms of taste, you also get what you would expect from a Landal Park restaurant. We will eat there again on our next vacation.

Catastrophic blemish. If you look at reviews, I assume you go for value for money and what you put in your mouth. In that case, I strongly advise against Wood's so-called "restaurant". Ordered "The chefs choice", which was pork mignon with pepper sauce, vegetables and fries. The ham mignon was dry as cardboard and the pepper sauce did not taste of pepper and was a dull, pale cream sauce with only 2 peppercorns in it. The vegetables were FROZEN VEGETABLES from a bag, like the ones you find in the freezer section of the supermarket! No one should call themselves a "restaurant" and then serve cooked vegetables from frozen. It also came with ALL the dishes, so it was not an exceptional case. The kitchen can't even cut fresh vegetables and steam or fry them! Stay far away from this place and use the 10 minutes to drive down town and get some decent food for your money.

We had several quality meals here with attentive staff. Definitely recommend a visit. Lovely location and great spot for children too. No complaints from us.

Cozy restaurant with very attentive service. The schnitzel with fries and vegetables was excellent. You are asked what sauce you want with it and later it turns out that this is on the bill for 4 euros per portion. If you check the map it is mentioned, but I don't think it is a friendly way of doing things.

Is there self-service on the terrace? I have no idea... There is no reference to it anywhere. We sat outside a total of 3 times in the last few days and were noticed by the waitress each time but were not served 🤷 but given the prices I don't see the point of getting my things myself...

Friendly service, unfortunately very limited menu with mainly convenience or frozen products and ready-made sauces. Portion size was very small, hardly any difference to the children's plate. The last round was at 8:15 p.m. (!), after which we were turned out... It's a shame, that's not what you go to a restaurant on vacation for! :(

we waited almost 20 minutes. then we left this "restaurant". the waiter did not even bother to ask us what do we want, did not even notice us. Very poor ofering- just a few meals, cannot talk about quality,because we left hungry...

Balkan bistro style and quality. No waiter comes for 30 minutes. Shame service for germany. Good only for smoking parents near playground.

There were 2-3 gluten free dishes we could choose from, which was great for us. The fries are also gluten-free (own deep fryer). The staff were very friendly and there is a large play area for the children. The food is a bit pricey for what you get but we really enjoyed the evening. You don't often get gluten-free and space for the children ☺️

It's a typical Landal restaurant, but I don't mean that in a negative way at all. The dishes are well known and the quality is good. You can always argue about the price, but for us the portions are sufficient. The staff is friendly and attentive.

We went out to eat today (February 10th, 2024) with 2 adults and 2 children including a dog! Since we had reserved in advance, our table was already set for children with a children's menu and painting supplies! We were warmly welcomed and escorted to our table, our dog was offered water ;-) My wife hesitated between roulades and sliced ​​turkey, but on the waiter's recommendation it was the butter-tender beef roulade! Overall, all dishes were very tasty, large portions and prepared quickly. Overall, a successful dinner in a pleasant atmosphere with great service! We'd love to come back ;-)

Definitely recommended to enjoy a good coffee and delicious apple pie in a very pleasant atmosphere. Also with regard to the meager alternative of cafes in Saarburg. Also open to external visitors.

I was pretty happy with the restaurant. Joyful waiter (Max) very accommodating and so nice. Food perfect and very tasty. Short wait for food. We will be back

A suboptimal evening. 2 dishes we ordered didn't come at all, some of the food was cold. The staff is rather overwhelmed. Ordering via the app only appears to work; in fact, it is a matter of luck as to what actually arrives from the order. Very unfortunate.

Order at the table only via app. No warm welcome, no waiter. Tables inside supposedly reserved but unoccupied throughout the evening. Starter came together with main course or not at all. Vegetables and turkey goulash cold, schnitzel lukewarm, dumplings with roast pork hard. César Salad didn't come either. Apology came with the promise of dessert on the house. Unfortunately, neither a dessert menu nor anyone else came. The promised conversation with the boss also failed to materialize. Conclusion: total gastronomic loss. Nevertheless, thank you very much for the well-intentioned advice at the end: don't let it ruin your vacation. We do our best 😉

A reservation for 9 people via the app was not possible (according to the website only on the phone) on the phone you were only referred to the app, so no reservation was possible. The process itself was more than chaotic. The “service” also clearly has room for improvement. The starter came after the main course, a main course and a starter didn't come at all. Other starters double. The vegetables were cold and clearly from the freezer, the meat was lukewarm. And finally a mouse ran past the table. Completely uncoordinated, a disaster!!!!!

We had a very nice meal here, the burger is very tasty and so are the various meat dishes. The loose vegetables may leave something to be desired, but the rest more than makes up for it. In addition, the service was always very polite and fast.

Was prima! Hartelijke bediening en lekker eten. Misschien 1 minpuntje, sluitingsuur op vakantiepark 20u30...het hoeft niet middernacht te zijn maar tot 22u zou je toch nog een terrasje moeten kunnen doen, zeker gezien de bezetting van het park en het uitzonderlijk mooie weer. Absolut TOP! SUPER Service! Leckeres Essen! Jederzeit gerne wieder!

Tolles Ambiente, super Essen und ein cooler Roboter der die Speisen zum Tisch liefert. Das Personal war super nett und hatte immer ein Lächeln auf den Lippen. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder. Macht weiter so 👍

Voor een drankje prima. Maar ik zou om te gaan eten naar bistro Panorama verder op gaan!!! De keuken gaat al vroeg dicht.

Dit is een degelijk restaurant op de camping de Warsberg van Landal. Het eten was best lekker en ook niet al te duur. Je kan hier binnen en buiten op het terras dineren of van een drankje genieten. Daarnaast kan je eten afhalen. Ik heb hier een grote snitzelmenu gegeten. De snitzel, 300 gram, was erg goed bereid en smaakte daardoor voortreffelijk deze wordt samen met wat patat en groenten geserveerd. Verder heb ik ook een keer een kipsaté menu afgehaald. Ook dit met patat geserveerde menu smaakte erg goed. Er zaten 2 mediumsized saté stokken bij. Dit hadden er van mij 3 mogen zijn. Het terras kijkt uit over de grote speeltuin van het park. Deze heeft een groot luchspringkussen. Je kan dus zelf genieten van je drankje terwijl je kinderen kunnen uitrazen. Eindelijk ontspanning 😉.

Die Karte ist überschaubar die Preise zur Größe und Qualität des Essen sehr teuer. Auch die Getränke preislich zu hoch. Das Personal war super nett und die Kinder waren vom Roboter begeistert der ihnen extra gezeigt wurde.

Wenn man zu viel Geld hat und keinen großen Hunger, ist man hier genau richtig. Man ist ja froh dass, das Besteck nicht auch noch extra berechnet wurde. Immerhin der Service war freundlich.

Das Restaurant hat einen sehr großen, erhöhten Außenbereich, die Sonnenterrasse, von dem sich der angrenzende Spielplatz übersehen lässt. Die Essenskarte ist überschaubar und die Preise für Essen und Trinken relativ hoch. Qualität und Geschmack desselben ist OK. Als besondere Attraktion wäre die Auslieferung des Essens an den Tisch, mittels Roboter, zu nennen. Kindern werden auf Anfrage Holzstifte und Papier gereicht, was ohne Spitzer aber natürlich etwas witzlos ist.
