Although it is a Russian restaurant, the ambience does not reflect this. The food is very tasty, but the buffet would need to be reworked a bit. (E.g. dessert is next to the sauces, rather inconvenient, perhaps add the pickled onions to the shish kebab) Otherwise it's fine.

This nice restaurant with friendly service and delicious food is located in a small, beautiful half-timbered house from 1603. A few years ago there was a "doll museum café" here, of which some dolls can still be seen on the first floor.

We spontaneously decided to have dinner here while we were passing through. The telephone reservation was a bit unprofessional, but it worked. There was a moderate amount of activity there for a Saturday evening. The map is clear and not too crowded. That's how it should be 😄 the waiter came quite quickly, but seemed a bit unsure and didn't know the menu particularly well. But there was no lack of friendliness and therefore the lack of knowledge can be overlooked. As a starter there was garlic bread, which was very simple but also good. Then the main course came very quickly. However, this was intended for a different table. Our real meal, quesedillas and the Mexican plate, arrived on time, as expected. The portions are manageable, but you'll be full. However, if you expect large portions here (which is to be expected from the price), you will be disappointed. Overall, the food seems very authentic and is very tasty. The overall concept fits the location. The biggest negative point, however, is the prices in connection with the service. Such prices are more appropriate for a big city like Munich or Hamburg. Overall, the service and portion size are lacking. If the service were improved here and the prices were corrected downwards by +-10%, I would have no problems awarding the maximum number of points in all categories. If you want to have a good evening and don't look at the bill, you will have a very good evening if you pay a little attention to the service 😄 I hope that improvements are made accordingly so that we can give a better rating next time in town.

A very clean, familiar and cozy restaurant. I was there for the first time yesterday. Super nice service and very accommodating. I ordered a pizza with tuna pizza rolls and homemade aioli. It was delicious!!! My son was also thrilled. This definitely won't be the last time.

Efes is more than just a place to eat - it is a place where you can fully experience Turkey's culture and hospitality. The combination of authentic dishes, excellent service and a welcoming ambience makes this restaurant an outstanding address for lovers of oriental cuisine. I will definitely be back and highly recommend it to anyone who wants to experience Turkish cuisine in its full glory.

You feel like you're in the late 50s to 70s. Everything dark, dark wood, dark furniture, brown tiles, outdated plumbing. You can clearly see that no one has invested any money there for 30 years. We were there with 3 people and ordered schnitzel with champion sauce, minced meat with champion sauce and the “Bayern plate”. The service was friendly and polite. But the food didn't work at all. The knuckle looked big, but that was deceptive. Underneath the, admittedly crispy rind, there was more fat and bones than meat. The sausages were from the 100 pack from the Metro as was the frozen schnitzel. The breading was just like you would find on schnitzel at rest stops and truck stops - only more expensive. The schnitzel was golden brown on top, but nice and mushy on the bottom. The meatball was extremely small, a child's portion at best. As an adult you could eat 3 of these. The fried potatoes were good though. The champion sauce was definitely enriched with a few mushrooms straight out of the bag. For me as an ambitious amateur chef, this is an insult. And charging over €12 for it is a bit cheeky. Sorry, I know better chip shops than this restaurant. In any case, we won't be coming back.
