The kitchen is clearly at a star level ⭐️ - finely composed, courageous and perfectly executed. Therefore, the restaurant is rightly and undoubtedly one of the best addresses for eating between Cologne and Aachen!

A very nice and, above all, clean restaurant. The food is simply amazing. Freshly pounded schnitzel. A small but good menu with fresh ingredients. Absolutely no frozen goods. A good and clean bowling alley, too. The service is very friendly. Highly recommended.

A very quaint, cozy old pub with very good food and reasonable beer! Something like this should actually be preserved and continued; But thanks to German pettiness and laws, unfortunately it's over now and the pub is closed! The whole of Kreuzau is now sad to no longer have a piece of history. At least we celebrated properly throughout the carnival days and gave the pub a proper celebration!

Delicious food with a wide selection, friendly service, good value for money, and the portions are more likely to be too much than too little (thankfully, you can have it packed up, and it tastes just as good the next day 😉.) You can spend a cozy time here with good food. The ambiance in the tent's exterior could be improved a bit. Unfortunately, only cash payments are accepted!!! 💶

My husband, my little daughter and I regularly eat at Strepp am See because it combines well with the beautiful forest playground in Obermaubach. I know the restaurant from my own childhood and really enjoy coming here. The food is of excellent quality, a little more unusual and interesting than the "very classic" home-style cuisine. We find value for money completely reasonable. Everything is fresh and made without processed products, as far as we can tell. What's particularly great is the exceptionally friendly and professional service staff, who are also very child-friendly. All in all, highly recommended, and the location right on the lake is unbeatable anyway.
