Simple village tavern that could do with a little renovation. That is the only but negligible point of criticism. The young lady who served us was very friendly and attentive. The food was very tasty and the portions were generous. Attention: The whiskey sauce is traditionally served COLD and then warms up with the schnitzel/sausage. It might sound unusual at first, but I think it tastes very tasty and is definitely warm.😃 The menu is down-to-earth, diverse and the prices are moderate. The price-performance ratio is great.

We went to the Alte Post for lunch today. I've known the restaurant for around 50 years... And nothing has changed. This is not for chic-micki-heinis. BUT: If you like real, traditional, home-style cuisine, if you value taste more than trendy nonsense, you will be pampered like Mommy's. We first had a broccoli soup, full of flavor, peppery with a dash of cream, the first highlight. The side salad had everything you would expect, a spicy dip, generous portion, the second plus point. There were also 2 large pepper cream schnitzels (pepper cream sauce 1a) and 2 large whiskey schnitzels (creamy whiskey mayonnaise sauce also 1a). Here too, just thumbs up, great! And then, as usual, we were given a bowl of fries. So they weren't voted out and drowned in the sauce. Conclusion: 5 stars because there are no 6... But as I said: Everything is top old school, great for us, certainly not for everyone, but I feel sorry for them. PLEASE CONTINUE, THANK YOU!

The whiskey schnitzel. My God, to be fooled. Every time I wake up the next morning and think, I'll have another schnitzel today. Small note, according to old tradition, only cash payment is possible.

It's just getting old. Rustic and old furnishings. But you are greeted very friendly. Service is very good and attentive. A standard menu with good dishes. The portions are very good, you will definitely be full. Also very well prepared...the eye eats with it. Stable good prices. We'd love to come back. Thank you.

Quaint, somewhat outdated restaurant. But that's exactly what makes it so charming. The food is TOP. The schnitzels are great, all at very fair prices. The service is very friendly.

Urisches Restaurant nettes Personal schnelles Essen. Super gemütlich!

Eine Kneipe wie vor 20 Jahren. Sehr leckeres Essen zu ausgesprochen humanen Preisen. Wir hatten 1x Currywurst mit Pommes und 1x Bratkartoffeln mit Spiegeleiern. Die besten Bratkartoffeln die ich seit langer Zeit gegessen hab! Und das ganze mit zwei Getränken für gerade mal 21 Euro.

Urige Gemütlichkeit, sympathische Bedingungen, das Whiskey Schnitzel ist unglaublich lecker. Aber auch alles andere auf der Speisekarte.

Alte Dorfwirtschaft. Auf den ersten Blick etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Aber Vorsicht!! Beilagensalat alles frisch . Schnitzel werden frisch gemacht. Man hört das Klopfen bis in den Gastraum. Kellnerin: nur toll.!!! Ich hoffe das Konzept bleibt so und wird auch in Zukunft unverändert fortgeführt.

Das Essen war Mega wo gibt es noch richtige Hausmannskost? Genau dort. Reichliche Auswahl an Speisen und die Schnitzel zum dahin schmelzen. Nettes Personal und wir werden sicherlich wieder kommen.

Das Essen war sehr lecker. Wer auf Schnitzel steht ist hier goldrichtig. Das Ambiente ist etwas in die Jahre gekommen, erinnert aber an die guten alten Kneipenzeiten. Ich fande es toll.

Super gutes essen und alles frisch - da wartet man auch gerne 45 Minuten bis die Bratkartoffeln frisch gemacht werden. Insgesamt sind es riesen Portionen und die Bedienung is nett. Auch preislich gibt es nichts zu meckern. Für das Schlager gedöns gibt es einen Punkt Abzug- daher nur 5 punkte

Der erste Eindruck täuscht, man fällt zurück in eine vergangene Zeit, man fühlt sich wohl. Nette und zuvorkommend wird man bewirtet.Essen sehr gut ,es lohnt sich es zu testen.
