A very nice and, above all, clean restaurant. The food is simply amazing. Freshly pounded schnitzel. A small but good menu with fresh ingredients. Absolutely no frozen goods. A good and clean bowling alley, too. The service is very friendly. Highly recommended.

My husband, my little daughter and I regularly eat at Strepp am See because it combines well with the beautiful forest playground in Obermaubach. I know the restaurant from my own childhood and really enjoy coming here. The food is of excellent quality, a little more unusual and interesting than the "very classic" home-style cuisine. We find value for money completely reasonable. Everything is fresh and made without processed products, as far as we can tell. What's particularly great is the exceptionally friendly and professional service staff, who are also very child-friendly. All in all, highly recommended, and the location right on the lake is unbeatable anyway.

The kitchen is clearly at a star level ⭐️ - finely composed, courageous and perfectly executed. Therefore, the restaurant is rightly and undoubtedly one of the best addresses for eating between Cologne and Aachen!
