Modern atmosphere, large menu selection, friendly service, food tastes very good, recommended!!

It was a nice experience of authentic German cuisine. Beers, starter, burger and the blutwurst dish were all high-quality. The servers were welcoming and helpful and the outside atmosphere was great.

We celebrated our wedding at Louis's in August as part of a private party. He had already convinced us during the preliminary discussion with his ideas, such as a barbecue buffet. And what can I say: it was perfect! The food was praised by everyone and the waiters were always friendly and on the ball. Both Louis and his staff were always courteous and rounded off the entire afternoon/evening. Thank you very much for this!

Das Brauhaus ist recht neu und hat eine Außenterrasse. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich, was wir vom Geschäftsführer nicht behaupten können! Dieser konnte offensichtlich nicht gut mit Kritik umgehen. Wir haben ein Champinonschnitzel und das Eifelerschnitzel gegesse. Die Frage der Bedienung, ob alles in Ordnung sei, mussten wir leider verneinen. Für den Geschmack meiner Frau befand sich an dem Beilagensalat zuviel Essig. Zum Ausgleich hat sie um Zucker gebeten und erhalten. Die Frage, ob ein neuer Salat gewünscht wird, wurde verneint. Die Champinonsauce war recht dickflüssig und schmeckte mehlig. Die dazu gereichten Pommes waren recht hart. Dies wurde der Bedienung rückgemeldet. Sie wollte die Info weitergeben. Unabhängig davon, wirkten die gebratenen Schnitzel und die Bratkartoffeln frietiert. Beim Bezahlen fragte die Bedienung, ob meine Frau wegen den Unannehmlichkeiten einen Kaffee aufs Haus haben möchten. Sie sagte, ja gerne! Nachdem wir bezahlt hatten, trat offensichtlich der Geschäftsführer (vorgestellt hat er sich leider nicht) an unserern Tisch und fragte ob wir den Kaffee aufs Haus haben wollten? Wir teiilten im mit, dass wir ihn nicht wollte, sondern diesen von der Bedienung angeboten bekommen hatten. Er lies uns wissen, dass es grundsätzlich hier keinen Kaffee aufs Haus gäbe, machte von seinem "Hausrecht" gebrauch und bat darum sein Lokal zu verlassen. Unser Fazit: Wir haben das Lokal gerne verlassen und werden es nicht wieder aufsuchen! Das Essen bewerten wir mit schwach ausreichend, bzw. Es geht so. PS:Unsere Erwartungen an eine Brauhausküche sind nicht all zu groß. Sie sollte einfach,gut und lecker sein! Für ein Essen unter 20,00 € erwarten wir auch keine Gourmet Küche! In der Präsentation und Auftreten sollte man dann aber auch nicht so tun, als wäre man ein Gourment Tempel. Manfred aus Bergheim

As expected, everything was fine.

The food was delicious and came after a completely reasonable wait. Side salad tasted very good. Toilets clean and modern. The staff were without exception friendly and professional. I like the relaxed first-name approach because it fits the location and the concept and is not artificial. Very nice interaction with our 4 year old son too. Portion sizes were good, and given current conditions I would even describe the price-performance ratio as very good. Today I spontaneously went out to eat with my wife and child for my birthday and we will definitely come back again, the drive from Eschweiler is definitely worth it.

Unfortunately, our visit to the brewery with a group of 12 people wasn't quite what we had hoped. Although the opening hours were stated until 11:45 p.m., we were asked to leave the restaurant at 11:15 p.m. because the waitress wanted to finish work. This was very disappointing and left a bad taste in our mouths. From around 9 p.m. ordering drinks became increasingly difficult as waiting times increased noticeably. The last round was then only served to us in small glasses, apparently with the intention of getting us to leave soon. It would have been nice if the stated opening hours had been adhered to and the service had remained consistently friendly and attentive until the end of official operating hours. We would have liked to have been able to end our evening in a relaxed manner without feeling unwanted. Despite these inconveniences, we would like to emphasize that the food was good and the atmosphere in the brewery is actually very cozy. Maybe we were just unlucky with our timing and would be happy to have a better experience if we visited again.

After almost a year, I let friends persuade me to give Louis Brauhaus a second chance. My last visit was extremely disappointing and I had little interest in spending my money there again. But this time the evening started promisingly. We, a group of four, decided to sit outside on the terrace. The menus were brought to us quickly and an initially friendly waiter took our drinks order. However, as it got too windy outside, we asked for a table inside, which was easily arranged. Inside, however, the evening took a negative turn. After the drinks were brought to us, no one asked if we wanted anything to eat. We sat at the table unnoticed for 20 minutes and finally had to flag down a waiter to place our food order. The order was taken at 7:20pm, but shortly afterwards we learned that a dish was sold out, causing further delays. Our appetizer platter, which was intended as an appetizer, was a long time coming and we had to get our own drinks from the counter. At 7:50 p.m. we asked for the starter, which was finally served after another 5 minutes. The main course finally didn't arrive until 8:40 p.m., a full 80 minutes after we ordered. The burgers, which we ordered medium, were well-done and dry. A passing waitress casually asked if everything was OK. When we mentioned the lack of quality of the burgers, she initially responded without saying a word and then moved on. Then she suddenly returned in an aggressive tone and said we had to be understanding since we had come without a reservation. This left us perplexed as we didn't understand why a reservation should affect the quality and speed of service. It was noticeable that regular guests and well-known personalities were treated much better. The boss personally greeted and said goodbye to some guests, while we felt like second-class customers. A second waitress cleared our table and also asked if everything was OK. When we repeated our complaints, she responded curtly and unkindly, saying that a discussion about it was not necessary. My conclusion of the evening: Although some of the staff were new, there was a lack of sympathy and friendliness. Regulars were given priority while we felt unwanted. Despite trying again, I definitely won't be coming back. **Conclusion:** A disappointing experience with rude and unprofessional staff and substandard food. Not recommended.

Everything perfect. From the ambience, from the very nice staff, the really delicious beer schnitzel, steak, apricot crumble and the tasty viertelvorvier beer. It's a bit of a journey for us, but definitely not the last time we were there. Keep it up.

The best thing was the drinks! After we had waited an hour and all the surrounding guests had been served their food, we asked discreetly. It turned out that the order had not reached the kitchen. After another 15 minutes the food came. More disappointment. The hairdresser had seen the fries of the classic burger about four times. Patty and sauce boring. The salmon salad with wrong dressing was not worth the money. A slightly larger side salad with salmon from the discount store and coleslaw from the bucket... a shame

Writing this review in the resuratnt, as it’s taken almost 2 1/2 hours to receive our two course meal 🥲 Food was good, but very understaffed place. We took our table at 5pm and service super friendly and attentive. But once the restaurant filled at 6pm, we received next to no service; and it’s taken 50+ minutes for our dessert to arrive (after two reminders). A nice place, but not somewhere I’d comfortably return to.

I'm already dreaming about Lois Restaurant, it's always great there! The staff and the boss are always very friendly and the food is top notch as always. You have to go!

The food is very tasty and is based exclusively on homemade sauces and other side dishes. The portions are generous and special requests were also taken into account. The service was very attentive. There is a small point deduction for the outside ambience. It's nice to sit outside, but also directly on the main street, which is separated by a wall. Parents with children should take a look here. We will definitely come back again.

I find the beer garden particularly cozy. The tenant can't do anything about the new building flair.

The first thumb goes to the processing of regional products into homemade, very tasty 😋 dishes. The. 2. clearly for homemade beer. The service is great, very fast and with a friendly “you” along the way. Unfortunately not exhilarating. Nice atmosphere and friendly staff. The menu is clear, which is actually more of an indication of quality. This is unfortunately not the case. A hamburger with fries for €20 is not only outrageously expensive, it also simply doesn't taste good. A pity!

It's nice that there is a new monthly pass every month! The home-brewed beer “Virtelvorvier” is certainly a matter of taste, but you should try it! Thanks to the 4 different types, there is always a beer that goes well with the food. The overall concept is harmonious and I like it very much!

We enjoyed a Viennese-style schnitzel in the beer garden with asparagus from Spargelhof Lövenich and homemade hollandaise sauce with boiled potatoes. Delicious.

Reservation requests were absolutely taken into account. I had brought a rose over at lunchtime and asked that it be placed on the table in a wine bottle in the evening because it was my wife and I's wedding anniversary. This wish was fulfilled without batting an eyelid. In the evening we were warmly welcomed and congratulated on our wedding anniversary. Very good staff!!! Very friendly, courteous, showed up at the table in exactly the right way. In short: you just feel very comfortable and everyone takes care to make it a nice evening. It's rare to find such good staff these days. The ambience is simply beautiful. Although it is a relatively new building, it has used rustic elements that are simply beautiful to look at. The copper beer brewing system in the middle is simply an eye-catcher. You have to see it all! The food was really good for the "normal price range"! The fries in particular were very well received by everyone. Otherwise, almost everyone will find something to suit their taste here. The menu is not overloaded, which generally speaks for fresh produce. I can also highly recommend the beer made in-house!!! It simply tastes “livelier” than all the mass-produced products. I will gladly come again!!!

I was there for the second time and am impressed by the restaurant. I felt comfortable from A to Z, the food is super delicious, the beer tastes excellent... Absolute recommendation!!

There was a small group of 12 people there. Very tasty food, beautifully prepared. Very attentive and nice service, even the boss personally responded to our wishes. Ambience typical of the Brsuhaus style, very well maintained. We will be back definitely.

Reservations for 3 people via email do not count despite confirmation of receipt! The statement from Mr. Louis personally was that emails are generally not read and that simply coming to his restaurant without being asked is your own fault. Solutions e.g. E.g. wait, come back, make a new reservation? None! OK, you can do this so that the guest leaves the restaurant with the feeling that he has just made the biggest mistake of his life because he did not make a reservation by phone but by email.

Unfortunately, today was only our first time with Louis and his super friendly team. But definitely not for the last time. Very pleasant stay, super tasty food (even if the portions are something for a whole man), all “special requests” were taken into account and implemented promptly. All around a harmonious concept, range of food and drinks, as well as price-performance, everything fits. We would like to come again.

Highly recommended, large menu and attentive conditions

Whether steak or trout, everything is cooked to perfection! Everything fresh, top quality meat! We come from the catering industry ourselves and really appreciate when everything is made with heart and mind. It's nice to see and taste that it doesn't come from a can! Everything professionally! Homemade applesauce, mashed potatoes made from fresh potatoes and good butter! You can't get it everywhere these days... unfortunately! I even find the yoghurt dressing simply delicious, although I don't like yoghurt. Medium menu with a “good bourgeois” selection! And on the weekends there are really good homemade cakes! And everyone tries the delicious homemade herbal salt... a dream. We are not beer drinkers, but we tried both types and thought they were good! Very nice wine selection, I would like a sweet one! Now we just have to convince the boss that a delicious homemade dessert has to be on the menu :) with the good chef in the kitchen it's a piece of cake ;) Jokes aside... we want desserts! I am convinced of my life motto... if you love and live what you do, you always give 101%! That's 99% passion.... 101% only when there's dessert ;) Price/performance ratio... bomb! Feel-good scale at the top! After our 3 visits, many more are now following... on a regular basis.

Today we were there for the first time. What can I say? It far exceeded our expectations. The food is first class, very tasty beef carpaccio with truffle cream. The beef rib was also top notch. Everything was just right, excellent service as well as first-class cuisine and very, very tasty home-brewed beer. We will be visiting this brewery regularly from now on. Keep it up. A true enrichment not only for Kreuzau, but for the whole of Düren.

The brewery of our choice! A very worthy successor to Leo's Brauhaus (which was around the corner, but was unfortunately demolished by political decision-makers after over 100 years of tradition...). The ambience is very successful, especially with the clear view of the two copper brewing kettles. When the weather is good, the terrace is recommended, otherwise the two guest rooms are comfortably furnished. The staff is without exception very, very nice and always tries to fulfill all wishes. The boss, Louis Hauswirth, has charisma, always has a few nice words ready and an overview that shows he is a gastronomy professional. For food: Hearty brewery food (Himmel&Ääd, Leberkäse with fried potatoes and egg, the excellent beer schnitzel with wonderful brown beer sauce) is obligatory and good, there is also a small snack bar, very good steaks and burgers as well as salad plates. Everything at a fair price and freshly prepared. The two beers brewed by the master brewer friend who runs the “Viertelvorvier Brewery” were very successful. Unfortunately they are not available to take away. The Helle is a bottom-fermented beer, in the style of a good lager, heavily hopped and therefore fresh and bitter. The dark one initially smells like a very good Altbier, but is also a lager (i.e. bottom-fermented), malty, drinkable and with a long finish, just as we know it from the darker Bohemian beers (e.g. Gambrinus). Both are excellent accompaniments to food, but are also enjoyable as an after-work drink.

Friendly and warm welcome as soon as you enter the restaurant. You feel a little “at home”. The Louis Brauhaus is obviously very popular. This is proven, among other things, by the fact that it was always fully occupied when we visited. That's why you're well advised to reserve a table in advance. The very friendly staff seem to know almost all of the guests. The restaurant is very nice and you immediately feel at home. The food was super fresh and of the best quality! Your own brewed beer tastes refreshing and delicious! The toilets are modern and very clean! We've been there several times and we'll definitely be back!

Online reservieren ist nicht möglich. Louis Brauhaus meldet sich nicht und die Website ist gar nicht gepflegt. Es wird angegeben, dass offen wäre, dabei ist geschlossen.

Sehr nettes und freundliches Personal, leider war das Bierschnitzel mit einer körner panade hergestellt, daa war leider nicht so meines. Mit der normalen Panade wäre es perfekt gewesen. das wurde in der Karte leider nicht erwähnt.

Hier vergeben wir gerne die volle Punktzahl. Auf Empfehlung hatten wir es heute endlich mal einrichten können in Louis Brauhaus zu speisen. Wir wurden nicht enttäuscht. Schönes Ambiente eines modernen Brauhauses, wirklich sehr nette Mitarbeiter dort, deren Menü-Empfehlung wir vertrauensvoll folgten. Burger und Roulade waren wirklich prima und die Portionen reichlich. Keine Überraschung, dass dann passend dazu auch das Radler mit hauseigenem Bier gemixt hervorragend schmeckte. Danke, wir freuen uns schon auf den nächsten Besuch hier.

Spontan hier Essen gewesen. Es war sehr gut besucht, trotzdem bekamen wir ohne Reservierung sofort einen Tisch und auch das Essen wurde sehr schnell gebracht. Das Essen ist sehr lecker und preiswert.

Waren spontan auf ein Brauhaus Bier da. Habe an beiden Sorten probiert 🙈 Die Gläser aber nicht ausgetrunken.. Dunkel ist mit 6,8 % Alkohol schon ein Stark Bier. Das helle hat 4,8 % Alkohol. Beide Biere sind untergärig . ( Pilz ) Es gibt somit kein obergäriges Bier. ( Kölsch ) Das ist sehr schade. Die Lokalität ist sehr ansprechend und im Kreis Düren einmalig. 😊👍 Beim nächsten Besuch werden wir das Essen probieren. Waren dann heute mal zum Essen da.. Schnitzel mit Champignons und Pommes. Die Teller waren vorgewärmt 👍 Die Schnitzel waren knusprig von der Panade und saftig vom Fleisch. 😄👍 Es hat geschmeckt.. Eine Brauhaus Küche. ( Vielleicht kommt ja noch ein obergäriges Bier. ) Auf der Karte findet man gute Weine. Die schon besonders sind. Einfach mal hingehen und ausprobieren 🌞😊😊 Somit sind es jetzt vier Sterne 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟

Die Atmosphäre ist gemütlich und einfach. Beeindruckend die Kessel der Brauanlage. Die Bedienung war extrem nett, das Bier schmeckt. Ich hatte ein Rumpsteak, sehr zart und lecker Und jetzt kommen die kleinen Abzüge. Die Kräuterbutter war fast tiefgefroren. Die gewählte Beilage viel zu viel. ABER.... die Bedienung hat meine Bemerkung zur Portionsgröße professionell und freundlich gelöst. Das Potential der Küche ist höher als das was auf dem Teller war.

Excellent quality food and reasonably priced. Service was impeccable. Both the monthly special menu and regular menu have items worth trying. Brisket burger( December special) with bbq sauce is one of the nicest things I've eaten in Germany. Delicious creme Brule.

Sehr schönes Ambiente, essen sah gut aus. Aber die Servicekräfte bräuchten so lange das sich unsere Gruppe später jeweils 2 Getränke bestellt, da man sonst zu lange warten musste. Aber es war auch relativ voll an diesem Abend.

Wir – ehemalige Stammgäste im Leos-Brauhaus – haben heute 05.04.2023 das Nachfolgebrauhaus Louis ausprobiert. Es stimmte einfach alles: Die Räumlichkeiten sind einladend, die Sauberkeit in allen Bereichen ist untadelig, die Biere sind angenehm süffig und magenfreundlich, die verschiedenen Speisen sehr schmackhaft und auch für den großen Hunger geeignet, die Bedienung – Louis der Chef aktiv inbegriffen – äußerst aufmerksam, freundlich, kundenorientiert, positiv beratend, … und wer stand hinter dem Zapfhahn: Leo. Dieses Brauhaus ist ein absolutes Highlight in der Rureifel; sehr zu empfehlen!

Wir waren an einem kinderfreien Abend zum ersten Mal in diesem schönen neuen Brauhaus und sind rundherum begeistert. Toller Service, sehr frendlicher und gut gelaunter Wirt und Bedienung und super leckeres und frisches Essen. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder und können es nur empfehlen! Weiter so!

Während einer Radtour haben wir das eigen gebraute Bier "viertel vor vier" probiert. Lecker. Beim nächsten mal testen wir die Küche. Lokation und Service gut.

Der junge Unternehmer hat ein sehr schönes Konzept realisiert, ein großes Kompliment, Louis! Angenehmes, frisches Ambiente, sympathische Bedienung und vor allem frisch zubereitete Gerichte mit einer wöchentlich wechselnden Speisekarte. Ich bin sehr begeistert und möchte jeden ermutigen, sich das Louis Brauhaus mal anzuschauen.

Superklasse - 500 km Anreise für das Bierschnitzel - ist es definitiv wert! Gut, wir waren eh in der Gegend, aber Service durch die Bedienungen, Essensqualität und Geschmack überragend. Auch das helle und dunkle selbstgebraute Bier schmecken sehr gut. Tipp: Bierschnitzel

Fijn restaurant met een goede menu kaart. Wij hadden alle 4 een schnitzel met lekkere verse patat erbij. Aanrader!

Das Restaurant hat gerade neu eröffnet. Es war gut besucht und hat ein freundliches, durch die Kupferbraukessel dominiertes Ambiente. Die Bedienung war freundlich und stete aufmerksam. Ich habe eine Burgerspezialität gegessen. Das Fleisch war auf den Punkt medium rare gebraten. Zwiebeln, Bacon und Ei schmeckten frisch und waren in der Kombi sehr lecker. Die Pommes waren gut, nur zu wenig Salz. Ich habe auch das Bierschnitzel probieren können. Da war mir allerdings die Kruste zu trocken, was den Gesamteindruck verschlechterte. Die Bratkartoffeln waren lecker, der Salat ok ( eher ein Fertigprodukt ). Leider gab es noch keine Nachtischkarte, aber das Restaurant hat ja gerade erst eröffnet.
