A truly fantastic brewery! The beer is homemade and always freshly tapped. Wine lovers will also get their money's worth thanks to the partnership with a good winemaker. The food is truly delicious, and the price-performance ratio is more than fair. The host and his staff are very friendly and keep a sense of perspective, even in the hustle and bustle. We'll definitely be regulars. Tip: Be sure to try the schnitzel with a malt crust and the stew!

We visited there for the first time by chance, as we were hiking nearby. We had the beer schnitzel once and the Eifel schnitzel once. Both were delicious. The service was very friendly and accommodating.

A family celebration gave us the opportunity to get to know the brewery in person. It was a Saturday lunchtime. We had reserved a table for 10 people. It was moderately busy, which was pleasant. The restaurant is modernly decorated, has comfortable seating, modern restrooms, a long bar, and an attractive beer garden. The staff were very friendly and attentive. The cold beer tasted good. Most people chose the Eifel schnitzel with fried egg and fried potatoes. The portions were a decent size and quite tasty. The rump steak and Agnusburger were also delicious. I chose a salad plate with chicken breast, which surprised us with its particularly tender chicken and fresh salads; highly recommended.

Unfortunately, my salad was a bit carelessly put together. The cucumber and carrot salad didn't seem freshly prepared. Was there a pre-made salad peeking out from under the lettuce leaves? What a shame.

We stopped here for a break on our tour along the Rur Riverside Cycle Path. We were able to sit in the back outdoor area. It was attractively decorated and there were plenty of shady spots. The service was very friendly and attentive. The food was delicious and absolutely reasonable. We'd be happy to come back the next time we're in the area.

This was our first time at Louis Brauhaus, and we would like to warmly recommend that you eat there as well. We were given a parking space directly opposite the entrance. We were greeted very warmly by the owner, Louis, and he told us where to sit. We sat down and ordered our drinks (a light beer and a dark beer from the partner brewery, Viertelvorvier), which were quickly brought to us by the always very friendly and attentive staff. We then ordered our main courses (beer schnitzel and Eifeler schnitzel, each with fried potatoes and salad). The food was of excellent quality, seasoned, and delicious. After paying, Louis thanked us very warmly for our visit, and we happily left the brewery. Overall, it was a very pleasant and relaxed atmosphere; highly recommended!

We were there again today. Unfortunately, the food didn't impress us. The schnitzel was very dry, even though it was served in a different combination. The sauce was too salty. The bread basket and herb butter appetizer also disappointed us. The bread seemed very cheap, and the herb butter wasn't mixed properly and was too hard to spread. Unfortunately, one plate was broken. The beer was delicious. Overall, though, attention to detail and that certain something were lacking.

On a Sunday at noon, the weather was great, we dared to just snow in without a reservation. Having had bad luck at another restaurant, we were really hungry. What can you say, a super friendly welcome, got a table, had a wonderful meal, drank fine beer and enjoyed particularly friendly service. We are absolutely satisfied and would be happy to recommend you.

Everything was just right, drinks, food, service and ambience; the restaurant is highly recommended!! Even my quiet dog was greeted happily and given a bowl of water in a corner. To say something negative: there was a lack of table dancing and standing violinists; of course a joke. Anyone who complains here should stay with mom.

We were at the brewery yesterday at lunchtime. We really liked it. The food was very good. Palatinate Saumagen with puree and savoy cabbage. Soooo delicious. My son had a burger. Clear recommendation! We were guests with the course of 17 people. My grandpa said, "Before the food comes, go to the toilet. Because you can always cancel" So a good restaurant usually has a clean toilet. Everything here is tip top. Service? Super. Drinks? Yummy. The beer? Splendid. Eat? Generous selection. In terms of taste? A culinary delight. Ambiance? A highlight. Price and performance? Completely within the framework. The boss tapped personally? Sure. Short time for small talk? Yep. Give positive feedback? Naturally. For the little ones? Changing room and baby high chair. All in all a perfect evening. Nobody could find fault with anything or had anything to complain about. The guests at the other tables also looked happy. People are happy to give tips.

I deducted a star from service because at the time there were four of us there wasn't a lot going on. Apparently a fairly new employee or one who had a bad day and probably had to ask several times. But better than having crap delivered to you. The food is upscale tavern cuisine that you don't get in every "simple" brewery or tavern.

We spontaneously decided to go out to eat and, despite the holiday season, we got a table within an hour after requesting by phone. The waiter was super friendly and even offered other child-friendly alternatives when my daughter (7 years old) ordered. The food was very good and the portions were large enough. One star deducted from the ambience for the music in the background. This was inappropriate and a bit too loud for me. We'd love to come back.

Da wir als Gruppe reserviert hatten, wurde uns nur eine kleine Auswahlkarte (ohne Fisch, Ofenkartoffel etc) angeboten. Lt. Website -Speisekarte hatte ich mich auf Lachstartar mit Rösti gefreut. Auf Nachfrage erklärte der Inhaber, dass diese Winterkarte lt. Website schon lange nicht mehr gültig sei. Schade, kein Wort des Bedauerns.

Top food, top staff and great food!

Everything is really right here. You feel comfortable as soon as you walk in. The copper brewing kettles for the in-house beer give the ambience that certain something. Modernly furnished but very comfortable, the service here is courteous, very quick and extremely friendly. The food is excellent, the portions are nice and big so that everyone is full and the home-brewed beer tastes round and tasty. Absolutely recommended.

We discovered the brewery by chance and decided not to cook on Saturday afternoon but to make it a little easier. Luckily, the restaurant is really great both in terms of food and service. The service was super nice and attentive. The food was very well crafted and tasted really excellent. I had a great desire for Saint Martin's goose and was more than happy to satisfy my desire. It was very, very good and we definitely want to come back. Beer isn't our thing, but based on reports and smell, that seems to be pretty good too.

Wir waren zum Abendessen in dem Lokal. Es war bis auf den letzten Platz belegt, aber wir bekamen einen schönen Platz am Fenster. Auch wenn die Wartezeit etwas länger war ( bei 100% Auslastung auch verständlich ) war der Service immer nett und aufmerksam. Das Essen war sehr lecker uns passte in allen Komponenten. Das Hirschgulasch war sehr Zart und die Soße schmeckte hervorragend. Mein Burger war auf den Punkt gebraten und die Pommes kross. Der Birnencrumble mit Vanilleeis war ebenfalls sehr lecker. In dieser Preisklasse hat das Restaurant völlig überzeugt.

It was a nice experience of authentic German cuisine. Beers, starter, burger and the blutwurst dish were all high-quality. The servers were welcoming and helpful and the outside atmosphere was great.

We celebrated our wedding at Louis's in August as part of a private party. He had already convinced us during the preliminary discussion with his ideas, such as a barbecue buffet. And what can I say: it was perfect! The food was praised by everyone and the waiters were always friendly and on the ball. Both Louis and his staff were always courteous and rounded off the entire afternoon/evening. Thank you very much for this!

Das Brauhaus ist recht neu und hat eine Außenterrasse. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich, was wir vom Geschäftsführer nicht behaupten können! Dieser konnte offensichtlich nicht gut mit Kritik umgehen. Wir haben ein Champinonschnitzel und das Eifelerschnitzel gegesse. Die Frage der Bedienung, ob alles in Ordnung sei, mussten wir leider verneinen. Für den Geschmack meiner Frau befand sich an dem Beilagensalat zuviel Essig. Zum Ausgleich hat sie um Zucker gebeten und erhalten. Die Frage, ob ein neuer Salat gewünscht wird, wurde verneint. Die Champinonsauce war recht dickflüssig und schmeckte mehlig. Die dazu gereichten Pommes waren recht hart. Dies wurde der Bedienung rückgemeldet. Sie wollte die Info weitergeben. Unabhängig davon, wirkten die gebratenen Schnitzel und die Bratkartoffeln frietiert. Beim Bezahlen fragte die Bedienung, ob meine Frau wegen den Unannehmlichkeiten einen Kaffee aufs Haus haben möchten. Sie sagte, ja gerne! Nachdem wir bezahlt hatten, trat offensichtlich der Geschäftsführer (vorgestellt hat er sich leider nicht) an unserern Tisch und fragte ob wir den Kaffee aufs Haus haben wollten? Wir teiilten im mit, dass wir ihn nicht wollte, sondern diesen von der Bedienung angeboten bekommen hatten. Er lies uns wissen, dass es grundsätzlich hier keinen Kaffee aufs Haus gäbe, machte von seinem "Hausrecht" gebrauch und bat darum sein Lokal zu verlassen. Unser Fazit: Wir haben das Lokal gerne verlassen und werden es nicht wieder aufsuchen! Das Essen bewerten wir mit schwach ausreichend, bzw. Es geht so. PS:Unsere Erwartungen an eine Brauhausküche sind nicht all zu groß. Sie sollte einfach,gut und lecker sein! Für ein Essen unter 20,00 € erwarten wir auch keine Gourmet Küche! In der Präsentation und Auftreten sollte man dann aber auch nicht so tun, als wäre man ein Gourment Tempel. Manfred aus Bergheim

The food was delicious and came after a completely reasonable wait. Side salad tasted very good. Toilets clean and modern. The staff were without exception friendly and professional. I like the relaxed first-name approach because it fits the location and the concept and is not artificial. Very nice interaction with our 4 year old son too. Portion sizes were good, and given current conditions I would even describe the price-performance ratio as very good. Today I spontaneously went out to eat with my wife and child for my birthday and we will definitely come back again, the drive from Eschweiler is definitely worth it.

Unfortunately, our visit to the brewery with a group of 12 people wasn't quite what we had hoped. Although the opening hours were stated until 11:45 p.m., we were asked to leave the restaurant at 11:15 p.m. because the waitress wanted to finish work. This was very disappointing and left a bad taste in our mouths. From around 9 p.m. ordering drinks became increasingly difficult as waiting times increased noticeably. The last round was then only served to us in small glasses, apparently with the intention of getting us to leave soon. It would have been nice if the stated opening hours had been adhered to and the service had remained consistently friendly and attentive until the end of official operating hours. We would have liked to have been able to end our evening in a relaxed manner without feeling unwanted. Despite these inconveniences, we would like to emphasize that the food was good and the atmosphere in the brewery is actually very cozy. Maybe we were just unlucky with our timing and would be happy to have a better experience if we visited again.

After almost a year, I let friends persuade me to give Louis Brauhaus a second chance. My last visit was extremely disappointing and I had little interest in spending my money there again. But this time the evening started promisingly. We, a group of four, decided to sit outside on the terrace. The menus were brought to us quickly and an initially friendly waiter took our drinks order. However, as it got too windy outside, we asked for a table inside, which was easily arranged. Inside, however, the evening took a negative turn. After the drinks were brought to us, no one asked if we wanted anything to eat. We sat at the table unnoticed for 20 minutes and finally had to flag down a waiter to place our food order. The order was taken at 7:20pm, but shortly afterwards we learned that a dish was sold out, causing further delays. Our appetizer platter, which was intended as an appetizer, was a long time coming and we had to get our own drinks from the counter. At 7:50 p.m. we asked for the starter, which was finally served after another 5 minutes. The main course finally didn't arrive until 8:40 p.m., a full 80 minutes after we ordered. The burgers, which we ordered medium, were well-done and dry. A passing waitress casually asked if everything was OK. When we mentioned the lack of quality of the burgers, she initially responded without saying a word and then moved on. Then she suddenly returned in an aggressive tone and said we had to be understanding since we had come without a reservation. This left us perplexed as we didn't understand why a reservation should affect the quality and speed of service. It was noticeable that regular guests and well-known personalities were treated much better. The boss personally greeted and said goodbye to some guests, while we felt like second-class customers. A second waitress cleared our table and also asked if everything was OK. When we repeated our complaints, she responded curtly and unkindly, saying that a discussion about it was not necessary. My conclusion of the evening: Although some of the staff were new, there was a lack of sympathy and friendliness. Regulars were given priority while we felt unwanted. Despite trying again, I definitely won't be coming back. **Conclusion:** A disappointing experience with rude and unprofessional staff and substandard food. Not recommended.

Everything perfect. From the ambience, from the very nice staff, the really delicious beer schnitzel, steak, apricot crumble and the tasty viertelvorvier beer. It's a bit of a journey for us, but definitely not the last time we were there. Keep it up.
