Very tasty, quick pickup, good quality

I'll start with a WOW. We only discovered the restaurant because we booked the Parkhotel as a little break. A very young team, always trying hard, friendly, courteous, warm and simply inspiring. After some experiences in 1*e and 2*e restaurants, all we can say is... we wish Lukas Hoffmann and his team that he gets at least one soon. This variety of flavors, the loving visual creation of the dishes and the seasonality and regionality leave nothing to be desired. A very special thank you goes to the Junior Sommelièr Franziska Prenzel, who was a "wish fulfiller" before making the reservation and accompanied us individually throughout the evening. Thanks to the whole team, good luck to all employees for their future professional careers. We were, are and will remain enthusiastic. WE WILL COME BACK. Best regards from the Bergisches Land.

Very clean and nice facilities. Billiard table is straight and is in very good condition.

A nice atmosphere with friendly service. I had a pizza with a salad. Finally a salad that was the right size and it was the tastiest salad I've ever had! The pizza was also very good! I'm looking forward to next time. Thanks for a nice evening!

This was my second time here and both times I was more than satisfied. The food is great, the service staff are super friendly and very nice and all in all a great concept. The portions are perfect, you can order 10 different things per round. It seems like a lot at first, but the portions are made so that you can actually eat and try a lot of things. I can definitely recommend the Sakura in Paderborn!

The quality of the food is rather poor 5/10 points. The price is far too expensive for a snack bar that looks like a restaurant. Behind the curtain are 4 men who just get in each other's way and don't know what they're doing. While we're eating, an employee spills cleaning products onto the tiles in front of our table and starts wiping around the people around them, which doesn't work at all when you're eating. The positive reviews here are probably 50% fake and the rest comes from family and friends. 200 m further on at the Avenwedder Grill you can get the same food in larger portions for much cheaper

Clear recommendation. The shop is well located. There are a few tables inside, not too many, but you can also sit very well outside. It's best to reserve in advance. The menu is small but the food is really good. There were four of us here and ate pizza, tarte flambée, pasta and meat and can recommend everything. There's some bread and dip on the house beforehand, which is always nice.

I've lived in Gütersloh for tens of years and have never tried this restaurant. After a recommendation, I went there once and was initially skeptical about being a Greek because they don't serve gyros there. I then found a menu that was very, very tasty, huge portion and really wonderful value for money and service

We still had a remaining balance of €67 from a voucher (formerly a crime dinner voucher) during Corona times. We wanted to redeem this now that we wanted to eat in the beer garden. We were told by the nice waitress that it was no longer possible. At our request, she asked the boss again. It was rejected again. But he saw no need to tell us this personally. We are more than disappointed. After all, he took our payment for the crime dinner voucher back then. This is not how you treat your guests!!! Therefore, despite the really good food, we will not see this restaurant again. Too bad

Great Greek but nothing with gyros, in my opinion fine dining. Important if you go there, take cash with you as there is no card payment

I haven't been to the Alex in Gütersloh for six months because I've already given constructive feedback several times over the last year because the quantities were getting smaller and the prices had risen significantly. I know everything has become more expensive and it is understandable that the prices had to be raised a bit. But reducing the quantity in this way when prices are rising at the same time is not okay. Unfortunately, they didn't work with my feedback, so the situation remained unchanged last year. Now I tried again. Unfortunately with a sobering result. A chicken bowl for €16.90 included a little lamb's lettuce, edamame, dressing, some cucumber and no less than three small chicken nuggets, where the breading was thicker than the chicken that was supposed to be inside. My companion had a similar experience with his fish and chips. Anyway, three small fish nuggets with thick breading and a lot of sweet potato fries. Before the prices rose so much last year, I always enjoyed going to Alex. Unfortunately, Alex will now lose me as a customer for good, as I was once again very disappointed. And my really constructive feedback was completely ineffective. I tried again today, but it was immediately dismissed that it had always been like this. That's true, but definitely not. Too bad!

Essen geschmacklos, lieblos, schlecht. Service unglaublich schlecht und patzig…nie wieder. Fisch und Fleisch TK, Taramas „mehlig“,…selbst der Reis war nix. Glatte 6.
