Tolles Restaurant! Das Personal ist immer freundlich und egal was ich dort bisher bestellt habe war immer super lecker. Klare Empfehlung hier her zu kommen.

Wunderschönes Restaurant und super Liebe Bedienungen. Mega toller Kundenservice. Ein echtes rund um sorglos Paket. Wie haben sogar videos zu unseren Tischen bekommen da wir ein Rollstuhl Fahrer dabei hatten. Es wurde alles vorher perfekt abgeklärt. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Eine Institution in Gütersloh. Immer wieder gut. Meine Portion beim Mittagstisch hätte etwas größer sein, war aber trotzdem sehr lecker. 😊 Ich kenne das Restaurant seit 30 Jahren und komme immer wieder.

Wir kommen mit unserer Familie seit Jahren immer wieder gerne in dieses Restaurant und sind mittlerweile echte Stammgäste. Das Ambiente ist sehr angenehm und das Essen durchweg sehr gut und kommt zügig und frisch. Besonders hervorheben möchte ich das aufmerksame und freundliche Personal – man wird jedes Mal herzlich begrüßt und fühlt sich direkt willkommen. Auch die Wartezeiten sind angenehm kurz. Für uns ein Ort, an den wir immer wieder gerne zurückkehren.

Das war mein erster Besuch in einem griechischen Restaurant!!! Ich war absolut begeistert! Ein großes Lob an die Köche! Die Kellner sind fantastisch! Ich kann sie wärmstens empfehlen!

Das Restaurant ist nett und die Angestellten sind freundlich. Das Essen hingegen ist furchtbar. Die Calamari waren schleimig, das Fleisch zäh. Insgesamt war das Essen von minderer Qualität und extrem teuer. Der Salat bestand aus Eisbergsalat. Das Fleisch war eindeutig tiefgefroren und der Reis vorgekocht. Absolut grauenhaft.

Hey there! A young man from Bremen visiting Gütersloh. I set off with minimal expectations because I was simply hungry. From the outside, it's very modern and appealing, and when you open the door, it feels like stepping into Greece. The food was delicious, and the service was very attentive. The ambiance is a bit bright, but that's easy to overlook. Highly recommended. If you're ever in the area, definitely give it a try. You really can't go wrong.

The food was very good both times. Classic Greek cuisine of good quality. Quick preparation, the meat was properly seasoned, cooked well, and therefore juicy. Side dishes were also good. Service was prompt and always available when needed. The service was a bit quirky at times; I'll take it as a sense of humor that I don't share. The ambiance was classic and rustic. It could use a little more attention to detail (e.g., artificial flowers). The prices were on the higher side, but still acceptable.

Although I haven't eaten here myself yet, I'm already giving it an optimistic top rating. I often pass by and see that the place is always packed – a sure sign of excellent food. I've only ever heard positive things about the quality of the dishes. I'd especially like to highlight their fantastic customer service: It's amazing that they apparently offer the option of taking leftovers home if you can't quite finish the generous portions. That shows respect for both the food and the customer! Since the tables are always full, I find it hard to imagine anyone would be dissatisfied with the food. I'm really looking forward to my first visit!

We've been coming here regularly for 20 years. Recently, the prices have risen significantly, but unfortunately, the portions have gotten smaller. Two years ago, we could barely finish our meal; now we rarely feel full. And that's no longer acceptable for us. That's why we're trying more and more other restaurants these days. Was there yesterday, an absolute disaster!!!! I've never had such bad food. Such poor quality, especially the fish dishes!!!! This place shouldn't call itself a restaurant if they serve you ready-made food straight from the microwave. It tasted like it was reheated, with tiny portions that you don't even feel full. We're hobby cooks and know enough about fresh produce. There was no chef at work, just staff to heat up half-cooked food. There were seven of us there, and the food came to the table in no time. A sign that the deep fryer was at work at the most. My partner's fish fillet completely took away our appetite, as it was a ready-made product from a package, completely dry and with an unpleasant odor. All the dishes were served carelessly and with ready-made, lumpy, wishy-washy sauce. No vegetables, no herbs, no spices. Everything tasted like cheap fast food!!! Dear people, are you missing a real chef? Who spoils us guests with healthy, home-cooked food, or is this just a profit-making operation, cashing in on cheap products? Since we didn't receive a detailed list of the food and drinks, but only a total price written on a piece of paper, I'm assuming the second claim. The tax office sends its regards. I can only advise everyone against eating there; it's a waste of your money, dear guests.

The shop closed promptly at 10 p.m. on a warm summer evening, and we had to pay without much notice. The waiter reacted rather irritably to the plastic money, because he saw his tip disappearing, and he lectured us about the disadvantages this would have for the customers. Otherwise, we received good service, and the food tasted good.

Unfortunately, it's a backyard romance with poor service. The food was delicious, but payment was difficult. Guys, you can do better.

We spontaneously stopped at Syrtaki on Sunday with two people. The staff welcomed us in a very friendly manner and immediately assigned us a table, as requested, in a quiet corner. From the service to serving the food, everything was super quick and always very friendly. The menu has a huge selection, there is something for everyone, as well as the price. I had the "special vegetarian pan" with eggplant, zucchini, mushrooms, peppers and onions in a Metaxa sauce - really tasty and just the right amount of food for me. We were really excited about our visit and would love to come back.

The food was very delicious and the service was great. The only disappointment came from some food options, like souvlaki and saganaki, not looking and tasting as they look and taste in Greece. For a traditionalist when it comes to national cuisines, this difference between expectations and reality can make a difference.

To this day I still can't understand how this store can get away with not issuing invoices these days. Why doesn't anyone do anything about it? We have laws in Germany and I thought everyone had to adhere to them. Greetings to the tax office 👍

A very good restaurant, I can only recommend it.

We've been going to this restaurant since we were kids, even though the food and ambience are just so-so. However, the attitude towards card payments and the behavior of the landlord have been bothering us for a long time. It's not welcomed here and you get an unnecessary saying for it. You will never receive a correct receipt here. The reason why we ultimately no longer visit this restaurant is the type of owner. On our last visit we paid by card again but gave the tip in cash. Instead of saying thank you, we were told “at least the tip was in cash”. With this kind of thing you can be happy that you get a tip at all, we won't be giving this anymore in the future because we won't be entering the store anymore.

One of the very few Greeks (that I know of) that offers gyros with bifteki. :-) Gyros well seasoned, not greasy, 5 stars lack a bit more crunchiness. There was 1 ouzo before the meal, 1 ouzo after the meal. Almost one too many. :-) Very nice places in small separate rooms. Recommendation!

We were 3 people and it was a total disaster. the octopus at 15 Euros (als Vorspeise) was practically non-existent on the plate and the cabbage salad tasted more like vinegar than cabbage. The dishes were greasy because they were obviously not washed well and in the end I even had to ask for the receipt because the money was only collected with a handwritten note. It was the first and last time.

I received an invitation from the family to a Christmas dinner in a Greek restaurant. There were seven of us and we were seated at a table that was too small, so that the surrounding guests were sitting in close proximity. The tight seating comfort was unsatisfactory. The cloakroom was also problematic as our jackets were hung over those of the other guests. An increase in wardrobe options would be desirable in order to avoid the hassle of picking out your own clothes. That's why I rate the ambience with two stars ⭐️⭐️. The service was excellent, quick and friendly; There were no complaints here, hence four stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️. The menu, especially the reduced Christmas menu, and the food did not meet my expectations. The chicken schnitzel I ordered turned out to be an industrially manufactured product and was therefore not satisfactory. The French fries, on the other hand, were tasty and deserve two stars ⭐️⭐️.

I've been visiting Syrtaki since I was a child and I'm still thrilled after more than 30 years! The food is simply fantastic – fresh, authentic and always delicious. The Greek specialties from the grill are particularly enjoyable. As always, the service is first class, friendly and attentive. The location is cozy and inviting, which makes the visit even more pleasant. And then there are the fair prices, which make the whole thing a real insider tip. An absolute favorite restaurant that I can recommend to everyone!”

We were there today with 4 people. A single disaster, food extremely expensive, far too little on the plate, which is already small. And then everything is cold. Gyros two forks, a meat skewer cold and tough as a shoe sole. Then 21 pieces. short fries. Salad with a dressing, how should I say - water with water. Conclusion: Never again!!! It was by far the cruelest meal I have had in a restaurant.

Die Räumlichkeit ist sehr angenehm eingerichtet, jedoch sollte man die Wände an den Tischen zur Straße mal streichen! Das Essen ist sehr schmackhaft, mit Abstand ein Restaurant wo ich gerne wiederkomme, aber die Portiongrößen passen nicht zu den recht hohen Preisen. Salat und Hauptgericht ratzeputz aufgegessen, das kenne ich nicht von einem griechischen Restaurant. Selbst die bestellte Zazikiportion war so klein, dass ich nach kurzer Zeit eine weitere Portion bestellen mußte. Der griechische Joghurt zum Dessert war wie alles andere auch lecker, aber zu wenig für 4,50€

How can it be that this restaurant was rated 4 and a half stars. Unfortunately it was a big disappointment...we chose this restaurant because of the rating. Of course we weren't expecting a gourmet restaurant and we were actually never disappointed by a Greek restaurant. In terms of the entire preparation of the food and the taste, everything was completely flat...that was simply below the standard of a restaurant like this. Sorry...if this is the case with all dishes then it is absolutely not recommended. We ordered the following dishes...Callamares and a stir-fry with pork and Metaxa sauce. But the service was very friendly.

A really nice shop. We were just there for dinner and I really enjoyed it. The food was excellent and the gyros were tender and juicy. The food arrived at our table quickly and we even received a gift from the house. Great atmosphere and worth the money.

We are traveling to Denmark, we made a rest stop in the middle of Germany!! Looking for food we found a Greek restaurant of course we went and I feel it was the best in terms of food very tasty everything, the staff with a smile on their faces willing to serve, we were treated to ouzo fantastic... the portions are big great pleasure to talk to patriots in heart of Germany... A solid Greek restaurant. The service is very, very quick, almost a little too fast. ;-) The service is friendly, but we recently received something wrong twice. But the food tastes good and I come here regularly. The atmosphere is a bit old-fashioned, but ok. Small note: Card payments are accepted, but not without various comments that you would have to pay so many percentage points... since then I have been paying in cash so that I no longer have a guilty conscience. ;)

Today we were eating there again after many years, we had previously made a reservation for 4 adults by phone without mentioning my almost 2 year old child. When we got there we were asked to sit at a table, then a waiter (I hope not that this was the manager of the restaurant) came and asked for the family name, with which I had made the reservation... and began: What kind of mother are you, make a reservation for 4 adults, first your child comes then you... I was a bit perplexed, I didn't expect such unprofessionalism, I lived there differently... I just didn't make a reservation for the little one because he doesn't take up a whole place but mainly on mom's or sitting on dad's lap and eating from our plates. Such poor customer service is not acceptable, although I also asked the gentleman how he speaks to customers?! Regardless of questioning my motherly competence, depending on a seat reservation and the "you"..this man is neither my brother nor my father.. Next time I'll go to another Greek who only focuses on his WORK concentrated. The food was otherwise very good and the female service was very friendly and accommodating!

Very tasty food and wine, and also ouzo on the house. :-) And the starters are so big, you'll get very full! The squid was super tender. The atmosphere in the restaurant is also very pleasant, nicely decorated.
