Restaurant Ellinadiko in Gütersloh

Schade, trotz Reservierung war bereits am 23.07.26 geschlossen…. seltsam… auf der Webseite war der 25.07. angegeben und bei der telefonischen Reserierung hat niemand etwas gesagt…. war echt blöd mit mehreren Gästen vor der Tür zu stehen und sich dann einen Plan B überlegen zu müssen….

Traumhafte Lage, köstliches Essen und fabelhafter Service.

Wir warteten anderthalb Stunden auf unsere Bestellung, obwohl nicht viele Gäste da waren. Hätten wir den Kellner nicht gefragt, hätten wir wahrscheinlich noch eine weitere Stunde warten müssen.

Absolut enttäuschende Erfahrung. Unprofessionelles Verhalten, mangelhafte Kommunikation und ein Umgangston, der gegenüber Kunden völlig unangemessen ist. Kritik oder berechtigte Rückfragen werden offenbar nicht akzeptiert, stattdessen reagiert man respektlos und wenig lösungsorientiert. Von Service, Zuverlässigkeit und Kundenorientierung leider keine Spur. Ich würde diesen Anbieter definitiv nicht weiterempfehlen.

Wir waren heute Essen gewesen. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich, das Essen super lecker. Das Restaurant ist sehr einladend. Wir kommen sehr gern wieder.

Das Essen war köstlich. Freundlicher Service und angenehme Musik. Definitiv eine gute Wahl mit einer großen Auswahl.

Das Essen und der Service sind sehr gut. Wir haben auch an einem Samstagabend einen Tisch für 2 Personen bekommen. Man sitzt gemütlich und nicht zu eng aneinander. Der Geräuschpegel ist auch angenehm, obwohl die meisten Tische besetzt waren. Gerne wieder 😌

Ich bin seit 28 Jahren mit einer Griechin verheiratet und kann mit ruhigen Gewissen zwei griechische Restaurants in NRW empfehlen. Eins davon ist definitiv das ellinadiko in Gütersloh . Sehr gute , authentische Gerichte , sicherlich teilweise auf den deutschen Geschmack abgestimmt , aber auch Landestypische Gerichte. Sehr nette und freundliche, wie es der griechischen Gastfreundschaft entspricht, Bedienung. Griechisches Ambiente, allein der Wintergarten versetzt mich nach Griechenland. Was will man als Griechenlandliebhaber hier in Deutschland mehr? Ich war jetzt dreimal da und ich komme mit Sicherheit wieder. Ευχαριστώ πολύ

Wir sind hier mit unserer Familie essen gewesen, und ich muss sagen das die warte Zeiten für sieben Personen mehr als übertroffen war. Bin sehr enttäuscht, nachdem wir gefühlt 2 Stunden gewartet haben, und bis jetzt immer noch nichts auf dem Teller haben, außer Vorspeise und Getränke. Die Kellner behaupten das dass Essen die ganze ,,zeit‘‘ gleich ,,käme‘‘ doch bis jetzt bin ich hier immer noch mit einer leeren Cola in der Hand, und voller Stress weil manche Menschen noch Dinge zu erledigen haben

Essen war gut.Preise für die Vorspeisen zu Teuer. Service,am Anfang gut. Nach einiger Zeit,Getränke vergessen. Ein Essen kam viel zu Spät. Bei den Preisen erwartete ich bessern Service. (Gruppe 6Personen)

There were four of us, and everyone enjoyed their meal. The souvlaki and steaks were perfectly cooked and incredibly tender. That's not always the case. The gyros was flavorful, and the tzatziki was absolutely killer... you should probably minimize social contact for the next few hours. 😉 Despite the restaurant being full, the wait times were reasonable. The service was friendly, but you had to let them know if you were thirsty. The only downside was that the appetizer, skordalia (mashed potatoes with garlic), was served on a flat plate, pale and ice-cold, like baby food. No garnish, nothing. They could definitely do better.

Delicious food, especially the braised dishes are highly recommended. Very friendly service. The wait on a Sunday evening was quite long (1 hour), but the staff apologized with a delicious dessert. That's a rare treat! A visit is highly recommended.

A truly lovely restaurant... I was in the area as a tourist and will definitely return when I'm back... the food is very good, one of the few Greek restaurants where I've actually enjoyed the food. The service is excellent; Bilis is always there for you... the owner is also very friendly. I really liked the idea of ​​decorating the place with sayings. Until next time!

The restaurant has a typically Greek ambiance. Simple and cozy. The food was delicious and reasonably priced. The service was very friendly. You don't have to wait very long for the food. Nevertheless, it was freshly prepared.

The food is good, but the wait for the food (it wasn't anything special) is WAY too long at over 45 minutes! If only they'd offered some bread and a dip or oil beforehand. Nope, nothing. Also, the "winter garden" is drafty and cold, depending on where you sit. Bottom line: Not a comfortable experience, what a pity!

We've eaten here several times now and would love to come back. The liver pan and the salad with candied walnuts are simply delicious! The grilled peppers and halloumi are also highly recommended. The service is friendly and good. We'll be back. The meat here isn't as dry and tough as it is at other Greek restaurants. The prices are also reasonable.

Came here for Lunch. most places in this town have all same stuff and not much of quality but this was bit more unique like a hidden gem this little restaurant has lots of place to sit outside in summer or warm nights inside feels comfy gives you the feeling of being in norway restaurant by the sea, we noticed its made into sections about 3 or 4 sections bit confusing at start but after getting to know a little more it became very comfortable many ways to enter and leave there is a certain vibe to this restaurant nice calming music for having nights out or dates we ordered tomato soup for lunch and mythos salad smaller version along with one omellete filled with vegetables (olives paprica tomatos) it was new experience something i havent thought of along to that we got some cokes zero and my wife got a lachfillet dish (the dishes here are presented in a nice and home feeling style) my wife didnt like much the fish that it tasted very bland as to no taste but cant blame the owner its just that the product was not straight from the sea so flavors tend to disipate but honesty is here she loved the sause on it and said that it was very filling and enjoyable otherwise we got bunch of bread for free to snack on the house staff there is very friendly they reccomend when you are not sure and they pay attention to their guests to see if they are enjoying it and if they are fine thats very sweet when we wete about to order bit more they reccomended us to get smaller salad version of it and to just try what we ordered first before ordering more so they are not greedy for sales but care about their customers most restaurants dont care and just want to profit out of you. (overall i reccomend this place you get well fed taken care of and feel at home will definitely visit again!)

One of the best Greek restaurants in town with a small beer garden.

We went there spontaneously. The winter garden was a bit noisy, but that was due to the guests right next to us. They kindly allowed us to choose a quieter table upon request. The food was fresh and delicious. The value for money was excellent, especially for the large gyro plate. We would definitely come back 👍, also because of the very friendly and dedicated service! This is what makes eating out fun!

By far the best Greek in Gütersloh. The food is individual and no matter what you order, it is always very tasty. What's also really great is that Mythos is available on tap. You immediately feel like you're on vacation. THANKS

Was a delicious squid. 14.50€. Waited a bit long for the bill. Nice atmosphere.

Mediterranean atmosphere. Very clean and tidy. Nice and courteous service. Moderate prices with excellent food.

We had two simple typical grill dishes, souflaki and gyros. The food was okay, but you couldn't serve food more carelessly. Fries and meat thrown on the plate, no decoration like a lettuce leaf or onions. Every chip shop is more imaginative. Looked like it came from the most boring cafeteria. When we asked, the answer was succinct: that's what it says on the menu. It's a shame when restaurants no longer need to make an effort to please their guests and a leaf of lettuce is no longer in the budget.

Delicious food and great service

We tried a Greek restaurant in the center of Gütersloh. A very nice atmosphere and a typical Greek decoration sweetened our stay. Many service staff ensured that the food was delivered quickly. Now to the food, the starter of grilled mushrooms in garlic sauce that we ordered in advance was very good. Afterwards the Bifteki Special tasted good but was much too small. A huge plate and unfortunately maybe 2 tablespoons of tzatziki and just 3 tablespoons of red rice got lost on the large plate. €18 for a small portion, sorry is way too much. Of course, a side salad and possibly fries are actually included, but these have to be ordered and paid for separately. It's a shame, the price increases in the catering industry are out of date and excessively high. Conclusion: A Greek restaurant with an atmosphere, good selection on the menu but far too small portions and exorbitantly high prices.

We had lunch there. There gyros pancakes & the beef life. It was very tasty and the whole thing was rounded off with friendly service.

The food actually deserves 5 stars because it stands out from the dishes/meat platters otherwise offered in Greek restaurants. It was very tasty, imaginative and also plentiful. Well, the only point of criticism is the side salad, which is not included and which you can order for 2.50 euros. Very very small - a little cabbage, a few tasteless diced tomatoes. Olive, pepperoni, done. Too bad! To that point, the food was really very good. We'll be back too.

A beautifully decorated restaurant with delicious Greek food. We were very satisfied with all of the dishes. The octopus was very tender and deliciously seasoned, it was also interesting that there was beef liver here (it was tasty), which is not often found on menus. It was just a bit difficult in terms of service/communication, at least on the evening we were there. The meal took a very long time and two dishes were different from what was shown on the menu. E.g. dry rice as a side dish instead of the entire dish as a risotto (it was also tasty, but a big difference!). And breaded vegetables instead of just fried vegetables, so the breading meant I couldn't eat them as I was allergic to wheat. Allergens should be correctly identified! The chef/owner (?) justified both by saying that new menus would be coming soon anyway. Then please point out which dishes may be different when ordering. Apart from that, we were satisfied and will visit the restaurant again with the new menu.

Very nice decor and lighting. Food is delicious. However, large plates and no decorations. This makes the portions seem quite small. You have to order salad as a side dish.

Tip service, incredibly nice owner and great food. The fish dishes on the menu drive us there more often than we should eat out 😉

Was there for the first time and was immediately impressed by the cuisine and the service.

We ended up at the Ellinadiko restaurant because other Greek restaurants that we used to visit regularly were increasing their prices so much that we were looking for an alternative. We received a warm welcome and the first drinks came quickly. The menu offers something for everyone who likes Greek cuisine. A wait of almost an hour for the food was just about acceptable. It was worth it. The price-performance ratio is absolutely fine. We will be back definitely.

You can sit very nicely in the Ellinadiko, especially outside. The food tastes very good, even if it is not very cheap. The service is nice & attentive. I can definitely recommend it!

Good food in a great atmosphere! We were there on a Saturday evening. It was full but we had a good time and were served quickly. There was a starter and then the grill platter for two. Unfortunately we had to wait a very long time for the starter (hence 4*) The main course came some time later. I think because it was so busy the kitchen was a bit overwhelmed. Otherwise everything was great. Food was very tasty. Far too much but we could have the rest packed up! Service was very friendly. The price was also completely reasonable. Full recommendation!

Wir waren heute das erste Mal dort. Ein super schönes authentisches Lokal. Ein absoluter Spitzenservice, das verdient ein extra Lob, weil wir es nicht mehr für selbstverständlich erachten, dass der Service gut ist. Ein Team aus jungen Menschen, die mit Herzblut und Können die Gäste verwöhnen. Das Essen fanden wir ganz hervorragend, kein griechisches Imbissessen, wie man es manchmal bekommt, sondern saftig, super gewürzt und topp zubereitet. Dazu noch preislich gut. Hier auch ein großes Lob an die Küche. Insgesamt ein dickes Danke. Es wird wohl unser neuer Lieblingsgrieche.

The restaurant was busy but as we were sitting right next to a larger party which was a bit noisy, the waiter suggested we sit in the quieter part of the restaurant and helped us move across. The food was nice, portions quite large and the ouzo on the house rounded off the evening perfectly. Will definitely visit again.

Wiederholungstäter… Wir waren gestern Abend zum dritten und sicherlich nicht zum letzten Mal da!! Auch wenn’s gestern aufgrund von einer „Großveranstaltung“ nicht rund lief, wir hatten Spaß, wurden satt und es hat wie immer sehr gut geschmeckt. Der Service war/ ist freundlich, schnell und zuvorkommend. Wäre nur toll, das wenn Veranstaltungen parallel stattfinden , die anderen Gästen informiert werden, das dass Essen eventuell länger dauern könnte.

Wir waren mit mehreren Personen zum Abendessen dort. Wir hatten gute Plätze und konnten uns gut unterhalten. Die Speisen schmeckten allen gut. Vor allem der Service war freundlich und zuvorkommend!
