Even after the new takeover, you can still eat very well here. The portions are generous, so that even the biggest hunger is satisfied. The prices are still okay, but a little higher than other Greek restaurants. I really like the ambience, the rustic style is evident from the outside, through the counter, the tables and even the toilets. Especially in summer you can sit at the front of the church square. In this regard, it would also be good if the restaurant, or at least the counter with a limited range of food, was also open on Friday afternoon (when there is a market) and Saturday lunch and afternoon.

Ate gyros with cream sauce. Meat was so greasy and inedible you had to pay in full. The service also just said the meat was very greasy, I know the problem. Thank you never in that store again. I have already told it as it was, I should call it witnessing.

Everything's great there. Only the antlers, they'll have to think about something else in the next few years. People go there because the food, staff, it's super super.

I can recommend it. Greek dishes but also seasonal ones such as asparagus dishes. Will go there again to eat.

The beer garden is very nice. The restaurant itself is quite okay. The food wasn't good. The feta starter came straight from the packaging to the plate. A basil leaf and 3 slices each of cucumber and tomato are not a hit. The gratinated gyros as the main course was very bad. The metaxa sauce only tasted like tomato and the gyro itself was of poor quality. Some of it was burnt and some of it wasn't completely burned through. Besides, we waited a very long time for everything. Other tables were brought forward. I cannot recommend the restaurant.

Nice, very attentive and friendly team. The food is good and tasty. The portions are large. Coca Cola is available in well-chilled 0.33 liter bottles. I like that.

The entrance looks great, the rest is rather boring. Unfortunately the food was just average. 6 different dishes on the table, no one was really happy.

As a newcomer, I went to the Linde for the first time at the weekend with the ("culinarily difficult") family and all I can say is: If only every day were Linden day! ;) The service throughout was so particularly warm, patient and attentive - even with our "I'm allergic to...", "Can I have yz instead of xy" and "instructions" from the next table that white wine is best enjoyed warm (Huh ?), the response was extremely warm – hats off and THANK YOU! The service staff alone deserve 5 stars! But so was the food: all the dishes were simply “I want to bathe in them” – both vegetarian and meat-based. Everyone was in seventh heaven! Speaking of “vegetarian”: Although OWL is very meat-heavy, there is a large and great vegetarian selection here! Leftovers were lovingly packed up too. In short: absolute recommendation! Thanks see you next time! ❤️

Super tasty, generous portions, not too expensive, great service!

Were there for the first time today and we really liked it. The service is absolutely attentive, friendly and helpful. The food, especially the gyros, was sensational😉 Everyone at the table was more than satisfied. Even the chef came to our table personally and we had a nice small talk. We will definitely see each other again very soon.

A great evening with tasty dishes. The meat was simply great, not at all tough or tough. Cooked to perfection, juicy and tasty. Plus nice service and a cozy, well-kept environment. You rarely find something like that these days.

Greek food doesn't blow me away though, staff very friendly

We were there for dinner in a large group and felt completely comfortable and well looked after. Special requests (vegetarian, mixture of different dishes) were gladly accommodated. We enjoyed it very much and we would like to come back 👍

We were there for Christmas dinner today. The 7 dishes that were offered were all totally overpriced or not justified by the price. There was only one dish on the menu for vegetarians and the request to combine something from other dishes was rejected. For children there was a children's plate with 5 chicken nuggets and a handful of fries for €11.50 (overpriced). The meat was completely burnt and simply didn't taste good. The duck was still bloody, when we asked to fry it again, the response was strange and accusatory, saying that you should have said beforehand that you didn't want it to be served bloody. The dishes didn't even include a bit of tzatziki, which should probably be included for such a price... instead you had to eat dried-out meat with soggy fries. Despite the reservation, the dessert (mousse au chocolat) was no longer available for our table (over 20 people); instead we were served a dollop of Greek yoghurt. The service wasn't good either, people rarely asked for drinks. Ouzo was only given after repeated complaints as an “excuse”... and not as a form of hospitality like other Greeks do. It's a shame about the money that was spent there. ________________ Regarding your answer: People are happy to spend a little more money for good food... but unfortunately this wasn't the case for you. How do you justify 5 chicken nuggets and a handful of fries (for children) that you just throw in the oven for €11.50? Just because you offer a small starter plate with 3 dips and a bit of feta + 1 grape leaf, a small salad and a dollop of yoghurt for “dessert”, this definitely didn’t correspond to €40. Just the fact that we didn't get the described dessert that was on the menu (and neither did the whole table behind us... there were probably 60 people in total)... shows that something is wrong.. They could have at least addressed this beforehand. What do you reserve for in advance? Another (smaller table) was previously served the mousse au chocolat. The vegetarian simply left out the meat and used 2 baked potatoes instead... since she refused to combine something from another dish. None of the 25 people were satisfied today... even if tastes differ. Continued success with your company.

Mega leckeres griechisches Essen!! Service super freundlich. Bar- und Kartenzahlung möglich. Die Räumlichkeiten sind urig gemütlich. Schön, dass nach Übernahme nichts geändert wurde.

Meine Frau und ich waren das erste mal dort Essen.Meine Erwartung wurde übertroffen. Das Essen war genau nach meinen Geschmack ,wie bei Mutter. Die Bratkartoffeln mit Speck das Spiegelei und die kleinen schmackhaften Würstchen meine Güte das kann man nicht besser machen. Bitte macht so weiter wir kommen mit Sicherheit wieder.

Wir wollten mal reinschauen ! Schön das es dort weiter geht 👍 Netter Empfang und es wurden auch Gerichte vorgestellt die es Saison gerade gibt ! Extra Bestellung ist möglich und wurde gerne angeboten, doch leider hat es nicht bis in die Küche geklappt mit den kleinen extra Wunsch…. Passiert und war jetzt nicht ganz so tragisch. Essen frisch und auch sehr üppig… Geschmacklich guter Durchschnitt. Wünschenswert wären neue WC‘s ! Sicherlich eine hohe Investitionen…. Doch das wäre schon ein Mehrwert. Die Preis von den Gerichten sollte dieses Finanziell auch bald einspielen. Wir kommen wieder

Essen ist mega! Große Portionen (Schnitzel und Gambas mit Beilagen), frisch, schnell! Das Personal ist sehr aufmerksam und nett. Das Ambiente ist rustikal und die Location ist sauber und großflächig. Auf jeden Fall gehen wir nochmal hin!

Erste wichtige Info: Das Gasthaus hat geöffnet und seit April 2023 einen neuen Pächter. Ein griechisches Pärchen. Ich sage das, weil das teilweise in Social Media noch auf dem alten Stand ist. Zum Restaurant: Vom Ambiente noch so historisch, wie es mal war. Alles gut. Das passt zur Linde. Im hinteren Veranstaltungsraum waren die Tische etwas moderner eingedeckt und daher haben wir dort auch einen Tisch gewählt. Die Chefin hat uns persönlich bedient und auch eine andere Servicekraft hat sich um uns aufmerksam und sehr freundlich gekümmert. Die Küche: Griechisch, frisch und sehr gut. Die Chefin hat ein Tagesmenü empfohlen, das sich sehr gut anhörte. Jedoch essen wir zuhause viel Fisch, weswegen wir mal was "Fleischiges" probieren wollten. Wir sind sehr kritische Auswärts-Esser, da wir selbst auf einem guten Niveau kochen können - und können hier nur Lob aussprechen. Das Schnitzel Wiener Art mit Rahmsauce und Pilzen war saftig und von der Portion her mehr als genug. Genauso mein Grillteller mit allerlei gegrillten Fleischsorten war absolut auf den Punkt gebracht, saftig und super lecker. Es war so viel, dass wir uns tatsächlich das leckere Fleisch haben einpacken lassen - das machen wir selten. Und auch sehr selten diese Meinung: Dafür hätten wir auch mehr Geld bezahlt. Also: Wir kommen wieder! Starke 5 Sterne für die neuen und sehr engagierten Pächter!

Gutes griechisches Essen und sehr nette Bedienung.

Haben nach Mountainbike Tour ein Abschluss Bier getrunken und unter den Linden gesessen. Die nette Bedienung hat uns dann noch 2 super leckere Vorspeisen empfohlen. Ich werde auf jeden Fall wiederkommen. War sehr lecker!!!

Neuer Pächter. Essen auf dem Niveau einer besseren Pommesbude. Hatten den Grillteller. Dafür ambitionierte Preise. Salat ist frisch.

Sehr leckeres Essen (Lammfilet mit Ofenkartoffel, Hähnchenpfanne mit Reis) , super freundlicher Service. Komme bestimmt nochmal wieder.

Das Ambiente ist toll, der Außenbereich mit vielen Sitzplätzen super. Meiner Meinung muss an der Qualität des Essens noch einiges verbessert werde, denn das ist Pommes Budenniveau. Über eine Stunde auf das essen warten zu müssen ist auch zuviel. Für ein Bierchen und Snacks würden wir schon wegen der genialen Lage und dem schönen Garten da nochmals hingehen.

Das Essen war gut. Aber die Getränkebestellung dauerte sehr lange. Die Gaststätte hätte mehr Getränke an uns verkaufen können!!!

Sehr schönes Lokal mit gutem (griechischen) Essen

Wir freuen uns, dass so herzliche, engagierte neue Inhaber die Linde übernommen haben. Das alte Inventar und die Jagdtrophäen sind überwiegend erhalten geblieben, das Lokal wirkt aber entstaubt und luftiger. Eine gründliche Renovierung der Räumlichkeiten hätte nicht geschadet, aber vielleicht kommt das noch. Die Speisekarte enthält überwiegend die in Deutschland üblichen griechischen Gerichte, welche äußerst schmackhaft zubereitet sind. Mir persönlich würde es gefallen, wenn auch traditionellere griechische (Vor-)Speisen oder Tagesgerichte angeboten würden. Wir fühlen uns sehr wohl dort, als Gäste stets willkommen und sind gespannt auf die weitere Entwicklung.

Schön, dass es in Isselhorst wieder ein tolles Restaurant gibt, in das man mit Freude geht. Es war sehr stark besucht und die Familie hat es gut gemeistert. Mein Gericht, eine Lammhaxe war einfach phantastisch, super lecker und absolut zu empfehlen.

Super freundlich und zuvorkommend ist das Personal. Das Essen kommt zügig. Die Portionen sind reichhaltig und geschmacklich sehr zur Hand. Das Ambiente ist rustikal gemütlich und für größere Gesellschaften kann ein abgetrennten Bereich geöffnet werden. Parkplätze sind direkt am Hause.

Eine schöne historische Gaststätte die nun weiter betrieben wird !! Gottseidank auch ein toller Nachfolger der auch ein sehr leckeres Essen anbietet ! Alte Gerichte werden auch gemacht ! Wir kommen wieder ! Auch die Bedienungen sehr freundlich und sehr aufmerksam !! Da kann man mit kleinen oder großen Gruppen ein paar schöne Stunden verbringen !! Ps.: Selbst mein Schwiegervater war dort desöfteren als Zapfer gefragt !! Bis bald mal wieder !!
