We love visiting the forest castle with our children. There are lovely opportunities for the children to play in the large garden and the Waldschlösschen definitely has the best fries in the area!

Disappointing – not recommended The visit was a disaster. Service was inattentive even though the restaurant was sparsely busy, and the food arrived lukewarm and tasteless after we had waited almost an hour for it. To top it off, you couldn't even pay by card here - simply incomprehensible in this day and age. For the money you can definitely get larger portions and better food elsewhere. Definitely won't come back.
