Restaurant Philipp in Schortens

Das Essen war hervorragend und die Wartezeit minimal, obwohl ich spontan um 17:50 Uhr eintraf und das Restaurant nahezu voll besetzt war. Das Personal zeigte sich durchweg äußerst zuvorkommend und die Preisgestaltung war angemessen.

Wir waren am 29.3.25 das erste Mal hier. Sehr nettes Personal, das Ambiente, modern, was zum verweilen einlädt, das Essen war klasse der Souflaki Spieß und das Gyros super zart und ich weiß nicht wann ich das letzte mal so einen leckeren zaziki gegessen habe 🤩🤩

Wir kommen hier immer mit unserem Zöliakie Sohn hin wenn wir meinen Vater in Schortes besuchen. Es ist immer sehr lecker und das Preis Leistungsverhältnis ist sehr gut.

Wieder einmal sehr gut gegessen. Diesmal etwas vegetariisches. Es war ein schlner Abend mit netten Menschen und toller Bedienung.. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Leckeres griechisches Essen in angenehmen modernen Ambiente und super freundlicher Service. Das Gyros war außen schön kross und innen saftig, die Fleischstücke nicht zu dünn geschnitten. Das Souvlaki saftig und lecker gewürzt. Die Pommes waren auch richtig gut gemacht und lecker. Einfach Klasse und wir kommen gerne wieder.

Was für eine tolle Überraschung! Dieses Restaurant ist ein echter Geheimtipp! Wir sind zufällig daran vorbeigefahren, hatten Hunger und beschlossen, einzukehren. Wir wurden herzlich empfangen, es war gut besucht und die Atmosphäre war gemütlich. Das Essen war AUSGEZEICHNET, wunderschön angerichtet und reichlich! Wir haben sogar etwas mitgenommen. Wir haben die Inhaberfamilie kennengelernt und betrachten sie jetzt als Freunde! 😁 Unbedingt ausprobieren! Ihr werdet es nicht bereuen!

Tolles Restaurant, schneller Service, nettes Personal, lecker Essen, kann man empfehlen, Preis/Leistung super ,man sollte besser Tisch reservieren, aber für 2 Personen ist immer Platz

Wir waren heute spontan im Philipp und haben, völlig begeistert, direkt für morgen wieder reserviert. Vom absolut freundlichen Service bis zum Geschmack der Speisen war alles absolut top. Zudem kam das Essen wirklich heiß aus der Küche. Mein Sonderwunsch, das Lammkotelett durch etwas anderes zu ersetzen, wurde problemlos und ohne Diskussion nachgegangen. Der Service war extrem flott, freundlich und zuvorkommend wie man es leider inzwischen sehr selten erlebt. Das Preis/Leistungsverhältnis ist hier absolut in Ordnung und für die Menge und Qualität echt lobenswert. Wir können das Phillip uneingeschränkt empfehlen.

Haben das Restaurant jetzt für uns entdeckt. Sehr nette Bedienung, das Essen ist auch sehr gut. Es ist nicht groß, aber gemütlich.

I ate at Philipp's Greek restaurant and had a fantastic experience. I ordered gyros with fries and an apple spritzer—the food was incredibly delicious, freshly prepared, and very filling. I was especially impressed by how quickly everything arrived: the food was on the table in about 10 minutes. The service was very friendly and attentive, making me feel welcome right away. The restaurant itself is rather small, cozy, and well-organized—which contributed to the pleasant, almost familial atmosphere that made the visit so special. The value for money is also excellent. We visited Restaurant Phillip today and had a truly lovely time. The service was friendly and attentive without being intrusive. The atmosphere was also cozy and inviting. The salad from the salad bar was fresh and varied, just as you'd expect. The lamb chops were tender and delicious, a real highlight of the evening. Overall, a very positive experience. We'd gladly return.

The food was very tasty, however the portion was very small, so we unfortunately didn't get full. The price-performance ratio for such a small portion was not good.

We were back at our favorite restaurant in Schortens on October 31, 2025, and I have to admit, it just keeps getting better. My wife started with the 67, and I had the 66, which I substituted with chicken breast instead of lamb chops. Everything was grilled to perfection, delicious, and wonderfully balanced. The meat was incredibly juicy, and the side dishes were perfectly matched. Absolutely fantastic! Hats off to the chef and his wife. We'll be back again and again because nowhere else does food taste this good. Many thanks to everyone for the friendly service. We wholeheartedly recommend this restaurant.

Our guests wanted to eat at a Greek restaurant, so we came to "Philipp." The ambiance is modern, fresh, and pleasant! (You won't find the classic plastic vines, stone arches, or amphorae here. 😉) The staff is very attentive and friendly, and the food is delicious, juicy, perfectly seasoned, and attractively presented.

After a short trip to East Frisia, we stopped in Schortens and were looking for a cozy place where you can sit outside with your dog. And here at Restaurant Philipp we were in the right place! Absolutely friendly service, very accommodating both with the seating and the menu. After we had chosen our drinks and food, we were immediately offered an aperitif on the house. A very pleasant location, very clean, and very friendly. The food was absolutely fresh, and even grilled to perfection! Thank you so much for the wonderful time, and we will definitely be back.

I reserved a table by phone on May 16, 2025, for May 17, 2025! The reservation was confirmed for 6:30 PM! We arrived on time that day, but were told there was no reservation in my name. There were four people on the phone who were able to confirm the call and the reservation! Anything can happen, but not even making the effort to find a solution of any kind, and that's for a regular customer!!! Absolutely terrible, unfortunately, this was the last time I ate there!!! They're missing someone with business sense!!

Clear five stars. First star: The service is professional and impeccable. Absolutely customer-oriented, friendly, attentive from start to finish. We ordered our drinks and received a warm greeting in the form of an ouzo, nice idea - second star. After ordering the food, we were able to put together our salad while we were waiting. Four kinds of dressing, perfect- third star. The food came promptly and was appetizingly prepared - fourth star. The good interaction between kitchen and service is noticeable. Absolutely quiet work and that makes it pleasant for the guest. If there was stress here, we wouldn't have noticed - fifth star. All in all, professionals work here who enjoy their work and put their heart into it. It's nice that we were able to spend this evening here.

We spontaneously went to this restaurant today and were really surprised by the exemplary behavior of the service staff when we were looking for a seat. You really feel welcome straight away, the restaurateur fulfills his role with stars. The employees also fulfill their tasks to the fullest extent. The furnishings are sober, simple, very pleasant. You look forward to the food - and rightly so. The menu is very long due to many combinations, but the dishes are fresh thanks to just a few components. This is actually the case. The gyros are very finely layered and the minced meat products are juicy. The salad buffet is a real win-win solution, the meal can start straight away and the kitchen is relieved, so you don't have to wait long for the meal. I like to eat Greek and have visited many restaurants. In summary, we can say that we are in the upper range here. For me personally (actually a good eater), the portions here are on the upper limit but manageable. Toilets well maintained, chairs comfortable. The bottom line is that the prices are reasonable and the quality of the food is above average in similar restaurants. And mentioned again, service staff exemplary.

Modern Greek restaurant. Moderately busy for a Sunday lunchtime. The food and service were very nice and attentive but not intrusive. There were 4 of us and we ate really well and deliciously. We will visit this restaurant more often in the future.

We ate there for the first time yesterday on Sunday March 8, 2025 based on a recommendation. The atmosphere is modern and very well furnished. The employees are super friendly and accommodating. The Corfu plate with side dishes and Salad from the buffet was simply delicious and the portion was completely sufficient. The price-performance ratio was okay. Not a very big place and I find the tables very narrow. It's very small for four people with grill plates, salad and drinks. What I like is salad from the buffet, something for every taste. The waiters were nice and very attentive, even small changes to the food worked. The food tasted ok, but nothing special. The portion sizes are a joke, if you're really hungry you're in the wrong place. I can get a grilled plate with fries and rice for the same money elsewhere. When I was clearing away I complained about it and all I heard was that everyone else said the portions were too big. Whoever believes it!!! Personally, I don't need to go there again.

Ouzo's that were offered from the house had to be paid for at the end with 60€, because of it on the house... Steak was extremely tough and dry.

We come from Wuppertal and were there today on the recommendation of our host Kerstin. ..Very friendly and nice welcome, tables, chairs, etc. everything was very clean and tidy. Nice, cozy furnishings, you immediately felt at home. Order was taken quickly. Food and drinks came very promptly. The food was super delicious, beautifully prepared and, above all, it was hot!!! Staff very friendly! No need to be pushy. Perfect... Great store highly recommended. We'll be back.
