We always have the best time here. The food is fantastic and the service is absolutely top! Attentive and super personable. The best address on Juist to have a great evening. I can't recommend anything more, especially with children. Thanks to the team for giving us such joy every time!

We were guests in the harbor restaurant on November 1st, 2024. We have been coming to the island for many years and we are completely satisfied every time we come here. The cuisine, the service and the ambience are excellent. You absolutely have to reserve in advance! If you come to Juist, a visit to the harbor restaurant is a good tip.

Mitten im Personalmangeldiskurs macht hier einer alles richtig. Der Eingang geheimnisvoll mit ungewöhnlich arbeitnehmerfreundlichen Öffnungszeiten. Geht man rein, wird man mit einem Imbisähnlichen Konzept überrascht. Es wird hier kassiert und gekocht. Kunde arbeitet mit. Die knappe Karte auf einem DIN A4 Blatt bietet eine überschaubare Vielfalt. Stellt man eine Frage, so springt der Koch aus der Küche und erklärt leidenschaftlich das Gericht. Preise sind mit anderen Restaurants vergleichbar, Qualität spielt bei den oberen Rängen mit. Eine tolle Erfahrung.

The tapas bar Café del Mar is located in the dunes. Ambiance, service and food are all great. A visit is always worth it!

Here you can get delicious fish in a relaxed atmosphere. There is fresh fish to fry yourself or you can eat the catch of the day on site. Fish sandwiches are also available. The sanitary facilities were clean. Barrier-free access to the shop is possible via the terrace.

Today we were once again at Burkhard's Velero. And it was a feast for the senses again! Burkhard really manages to hit the cooking point of the food with virtuosity! Firm to the bite, crunchy, but cooked. The actual main ingredients, such as fish or meat, are almost unjustifiably neglected because they are so delicate... Thank you for a great ambience on the beach with fantastic cuisine! The boss cooks here and you can taste it!! Thank you ❤️ A glass of wine, an espresso afterwards and a Ramazotti at the end at absolutely moderate prices, as the bill reveals.

As with most locations, the price and performance ratio here is unfavorable. We have been holidaymakers for many years and have been able to observe the price curve well. The end has been reached. In some locations, prices have even been reduced somewhat. ...... Juist also has to consider which “clientele” it wants to attract.

The food was very tasty and the view is amazing. It's especially nice because the restaurant is located right at the entrance to the beach and after eating the delicious food you can take a short or long (whatever you like) walk on the beach. The staff is super polite and accommodating, I love it. Juist is simply a stunningly beautiful place

The ambience is nice and tasteful, not an overly stylish designer restaurant. The pizza was perfect. The desserts were all good. The service was very friendly and attentive. The prices are reasonable. If you want to eat really good pizza on Juist, you have to go here. Clear recommendation.

Delicious vanilla cinnamon ice cream!!!

We were with a larger group in the kitchen workshop for dinner two weeks ago. The atmosphere is inviting and promises a lot. Unfortunately the restaurant didn't deliver what it promised. The service was really bad. We had a person with allergies with us and it was impossible for the waiter to figure out a few dishes for us without the allergen. It got to the point where the person then said he wouldn't eat. Even that didn't matter to the waiter. Only after asking several times did we finally find a dish that we could order. That was honestly the worst I've ever experienced. Unfortunately, even the food couldn't make up for the poor service. I would describe it as average at best. Unfortunately, that's not enough in this price range. Unfortunately I would not visit this restaurant again.

Not recommended! First we had to wait 40 minutes before we could even order, then the food came cold. A complaint was made, but neither the pizza Tonno €18 nor the pasta al’arrabiata €19 were worth their price. We didn't particularly like the atmosphere either. Last but not least, no one came to pay us even though we asked for it, so we were able to see the waitress ourselves. Really a shame about the evening and the money!
