Here you can get delicious fish in a relaxed atmosphere. There is fresh fish to fry yourself or you can eat the catch of the day on site. Fish sandwiches are also available. The sanitary facilities were clean. Barrier-free access to the shop is possible via the terrace.

Had redfish and fried fish from the pan, unfortunately both very fatty and with little taste. Takeaway ambience, not cozy. Dishes too expensive for taste and quantity. In a nearby restaurant we had much better panfish for only about 5 euros more, and in a nice atmosphere too.

Small but very tasty! Whether to go or on site, everything is great and affordable!

I can't agree with the bad reviews/comments now. I was in the shop earlier and the young man behind the counter was very friendly, not grumpy or anything like that. But it could also have been because I was the only customer in the store. But in the last few years I have always received decent service.

Fischimbiss mit verschiedenen Gerichten. Gut. Selbstbedienung, aber gut organisiert. Der Rotbarsch mit Kartoffelsalat ist empfehlenswert.

The food itself is good, but the staff are often so unfriendly that the bite can get stuck in your throat. An older customer in front of me was really cheekily put down because she didn't see that it was a few minutes after the lunch break started and she wasn't allowed to order anything anymore. I don't know what it's all about being so unfriendly to customers - at some point people will vote with their feet.

Das Essen ist ansich gut, aber die Mitarbeiter - sind es die Besitzer? - an der Theke sind unglaublich unfreundlich. Man kann das auch nicht mehr mit nordischem Grummeln oder ähnlichem abtun - was die sich leisten, kann man im Jahr 2024 nicht bringen.

The fish rolls and fried fish taste good, and the ambience is also quite nice. What is unfortunately not possible and what has gotten worse over the years that I have been here is the manners. I can only recommend that the owner rethink this and not treat the customer as an annoying supplicant. For my part, I can say that I don't value the good food enough to be treated so rudely, especially since other fish shops have opened that are much friendlier. I will never go here again.

The epitome of saturated Germany 2024 - you come into the kitchen 8 minutes after the official closing time, which is still sizzling, sandwiches are in the display case, but you are not allowed to buy anything because the kitchen closed 8 minutes ago. Customer-friendly is something else, but it seems to me to be the epitome of what we can expect in Germany in the future. But please don't complain in the emergency room if it takes longer. 😉 After we have been here more often in the last few years, today was unfortunately the last time. 🤷🏼‍♂️

Excellent fast food restaurant with an outdoor terrace. Everything was delicious, even the little ones ate everything. Highly recommended.

Just fried fish and the salmon roll. But top class... I turned around and got another one😉👍🏻 Everything was very clean

Great food, simple but tasty and above all fresh. The cod from the daily menu is perfect. I took my food with me, the food was well packaged and was still warm and appetizing even after a 10 minute walk. You can sit well outside, but inside it's more of a snack bar. Recently there have been pagers for waiting guests, so customers are no longer called out. It's less stressful!

If you want to eat delicious fish dishes on Juist, you can't miss the Fischkehuus. The service staff in the family business are nice and friendly. The island's prices adjusted. Unfortunately it's a bit too uncomfortable as a restaurant to linger in, it has the impression of a fast food restaurant...

But rather disappointing... This place is a snack bar, as there are some seats and can also be described as a bistro. We were able to place our order right at the counter because there was only one order being processed in front of us. Once pollack fillet with oil-based potato salad and once fried fish with potato salad with mayo. After appropriate After waiting, I was able to receive the food at the counter. The fish dishes looked the same... When I asked, it was succinctly explained to me that it was the same thing anyway... well. Well, the impression is disappointing... On a plate the fillet or fried fish without any other ingredients or decoration... the potato salad in plastic bowls like you bought from the butcher. In terms of taste, the fish was okay, but nothing more...In my opinion, the potato salad was straight out of a bucket, so it wasn't homemade and it didn't taste tasty at all. The food did not meet our expectations, especially considering the price quoted. I wasn't full either... We would also have to clear the table ourselves, which ultimately results in a zero point rating. I was annoyed that I tipped in advance... So, conclusion: I can't really recommend this snack bar.

Vor Ort gegessen, Speisen ok, hatten Backfisch und Rotbarsch, die Portionsgröße vom Kartoffelsalat (Fertigprodukt) sehr überschaubar. Außerdem frage ich mich, warum müssen Kartoffelsalat und Remoulade in Kunststoff-Einwegschalen beim Verzehr vor Ort serviert werden? Diese unnötige Müllproduktion ließe sich leicht vermeiden! Wir hatten uns mehr erhofft. Probieren beim nächsten mal die Fischbrötchen, dann zum mitnehmen

Wie jedes Jahr ein unbedingtes Muss, für das Abendessen hier einkaufen. Darauf freuen wir uns immer wieder. Frisch, lecker, sehr nette und kompetente Bedienung.

Der Fisch war frisch und auf den Punkt gebraten. Der Preis von fast 10 Euro für zwei kleine Stücke aber doch teuer. Die Bedienung war flott aber nicht freundlich.

wir kennen den Imbiss aus den Vorjahren, aber dieses Jahr war der Besuch eher 'bemerkenswert'. Der junge Mann hinter der Theke (Junior-Chef?), der Bestellungen aufgenommen hat, war etwas provokativ und nicht sehr gäste-orientiert an diesem Tag. Er erkläre seiner Meinung nach das Angebot und Bestellmöglichkeiten immer vollkommen korrekt und ausführlich genug erklärt hatte, jedoch hatte fast jeder Gast Probleme mit dem Verständnis und stellte Rückfragen. Jeder zweite Satz ggü. den Kunden war: "Das habe ich Ihnen doch gerade erklärt" - einige ältere Herrschaften waren sichtlich überfordert, betroffen und irritiert. Nicht schön mitanhören zu müssen und ingesamt keine schöne Atmosphäre. Das andere Personal (Inhaber?) schauten hilflos zu, waren bei Ausgabe der Bestellung aber umso freundlicher und bemüht. Der Fisch selbst war in Ordnung, der Kartoffelsalat in der Einweg-Plastikschale (trotz Verzehr in Ort) war weder lecker noch bot er eine gute Konsistenz, die Kartoffeln waren plastikartig. Trotz Corona und fehlenden Sitzgelegenheiten wurden Tische nicht freigeräumt, bei denen Gäste wohl vor Begeisterung nicht noch freiwillig das Geschirr abräumten. Wir werden nicht wiederkommen, dann lieber paar Euro mehr dort wo alles besser passt.
