We were here for coffee with friends as part of a bike tour. Very tasty cake, friendly service and cozy atmosphere.

Google asks for individual reviews for food, service and ambience. I was happy with the food in my pack, but the rest of the family wasn't. We had 3 standard gyros plates with fries, tzatziki and coleslaw, 1 gyros gratinated with fries and coleslaw and a small extra fries. Everything to take away. My gyros were ok, unfortunately the other packages contained pieces of meat that were much too hard and too dry. The coleslaw was ok, unfortunately a bit too spicy for me. I wouldn't rate fries to take away at this point. After a short time in the plastic foam packaging, they always become sticky. Because the food was still the best under all the evaluation criteria at this point 4/5 ☆. I can't say much about service, other than the food ordering didn't go very well. No ouzo to greet you, no question of whether you wanted to sit down and instead of 20 minutes as promised, the food only came after 35 minutes. But you shouldn't forget that Jannis is a snack bar and not a restaurant. That's why at this point 3/5 ☆. Now to the last point - the ambience: In principle it doesn't exist. The shop is very functionally furnished and everything seems to be getting old. You can't feel comfortable there, but it's ok to order food. At this point 2/5 ☆. Makes a total of 9 ☆ out of 3 evaluation criteria. So on average 3 ☆. Because the employees were very friendly and the parking spaces in front of the snack bar were large enough, there was an extra ☆ from me even without the 4th rating criterion.

Unfortunately I can't give good feedback. What I know as a service is that you are at least greeted with a friendly “Hello”. Unfortunately, the whole team came across as very unfriendly and disorganized. I have to say that the toilet was astonishing when you found it from three corners... it was clean. If it weren't for the problem with the toilet paper, as unfortunately there wasn't any. And now the food. Actually, you can't do anything bad with pizza if you can. Unfortunately, the statements from my children were “Mom, they are disgusting…and now I have stomach pains and diarrhea with my partner. Unfortunately my doner burger didn't taste good either. The response from this is that it is not time to save time and rather cook at home. A tip to the operators, it's better to do one project correctly and not to host several restaurants, e.g. a junk shop, at the same time. So eating with children is not recommended.

Only open by appointment, but you can enjoy the delicious cakes and tarts in the Schillathöhle café on Saturdays and Sundays.

I was invited to a wedding here and was absolutely thrilled by the catering and the location. Very comfortable location and a super friendly team made the evening unforgettable. I was totally fascinated that there are still people who can actually pour beer. (totally strange that you have to write something like that) I mean tapping beer and not using the tap... I can only recommend the location for celebrations
