Istanbul Döner Kebap in Hessisch Oldendorf

Great food, friendly staff, I order from there often and have always been satisfied. The doner kebabs are very large portions, incredibly delicious! One point deducted for service because card payments aren't accepted. Having to get cash every time I want to buy something there is really annoying. Because of this, I've sometimes decided against buying anything because I didn't want to get cash. But maybe they'll offer card payments in the future :-) That would be great!

I visited Istanbul Döner last week and was thrilled! The food was delicious, a decent size for a döner, and everything was top-notch 👍. I asked right away if the place was new, as I'd never noticed before. The employee said, "No, no, we've been here for 25 years." The döner was really good, and the restaurant itself was great for eating in – clean and cozy.

Unfortunately, we had to wait two hours for our food yet again. Communication is very poor; for example, they might have told us upfront that it would take that long, or they might have called again to say it would take longer. In general, phone accessibility is very poor. A discount should actually be offered for the long wait, but unfortunately, this isn't the case either.

Delicious food, whether kebab or pizza. Friendly staff.

The dining room and outdoor area make a clean and tidy impression, and the staff is friendly and very service-oriented. I happened to pass by in my wheelchair and probably looked a bit perplexed. An employee immediately came over and asked if I needed assistance. They offered to set up a mobile wheelchair ramp to bridge the entrance steps. This was done within a minute. The doner kebab I ordered was another pleasant surprise. Firstly, it was a huge portion, and secondly, the doner kebab/French fries and coleslaw/tzatziki were served on separate plates, so nothing was "squashed together." Tastes differ, as everyone knows, but I personally haven't had a doner kebab that was this delicious in a very long time. Based on this positive experience, I ordered a pizza with crab the following day. This, too, was perfect in my opinion. Thin crust, crispy crust, and no expense was spared with the crab. I would eat here again anytime.

The doner is bone dry, and you have to hunt for the tiny bit of sauce. I'd rather eat a slice of bread.

Despite the relatively empty store, it took about 5 minutes before I could place my order. After about 15 minutes the bored employee managed to finish my kebab. However, I had to ask twice beforehand what exactly I wanted on it, even though I had already told him this when ordering. I didn't like the taste of it at all. The bread fell apart after biting into it once, and the sauce, which incidentally had far too much on it, tasted like expired tzatziki. There were some pretty hard chunks in the meat.

It honestly tastes like a disaster!!!The meat is really disgusting!! We don't even need to start about the operation... Completely next to the track I had to say several times without tomatoes and cucumbers and they were still there. My grandma would have rolled up the Yufka (dürüm) better. Really not recommended!!🤢

The shop is getting worse and worse: Calls are almost never answered. If you do manage to reach someone by phone, it's usually an unfriendly employee who barely speaks German. The employees on site are absolutely unfriendly. The kebab I ordered had far too little sauce and the wrong meat. None of the sauces listed on the menu were available, except for tzatziki. Pizza not sliced ​​despite requesting it. This was definitely better.

Really a shame! You've totally slacked off! Delivery 6km away takes 1 hour 45 minutes! Although it was previously said it would only take an hour at most…. Then the wrong food was delivered! After asking, they just said: That's just the way it is - the other meat was all 🤷🏻‍♀️ The spicy kebab wasn't labeled... impossible to pick out between three kebabs... Absolutely not recommended! Actually an absolute disgrace! When asked on the phone, everything was blamed on the delivery man - who should have confessed everything. Unfriendly, super rude on the phone and the food was really bad. 🙅🏻‍♀️ Never again! I haven't experienced anything so unfriendly in a long time!

We don't like it anymore, it used to be very good and we got food there up to 4 times a week. Now the quality of the bread is no longer so good and the eye eats with it and the new employee has to put his fingers into the bread to open it or take it apart, it's not a pretty sight then something is forgotten or something gets mixed up, Doner kebabs break, they are prepared carelessly and are no longer of good quality. If the employees were as good as the owner, it would be better if we only eat there when the boss is there and makes the food for us personally, although it is often not/was not as good, but better than the others there. I hope the new kebab next to the Wegner bakery will be full of quality and where you just think great, what a taste experience and don't think bad, what a failure.

Was a big fan for a long time, but unfortunately the price-performance ratio is no longer right. Unfortunately, the kebab bread was completely sticky and soggy, the tomato tasted super bland and the meat was mixed. Charging 7€ for this is crazy when you consider that in Hanover, for example, you can get better kebabs for 4€ :D In addition, no EC card payment possible. Unfortunately, in 2024 it's simply no longer up to date :/ However, pizzas are usually great!

Unfortunately I can't give good feedback. What I know as a service is that you are at least greeted with a friendly “Hello”. Unfortunately, the whole team came across as very unfriendly and disorganized. I have to say that the toilet was astonishing when you found it from three corners... it was clean. If it weren't for the problem with the toilet paper, as unfortunately there wasn't any. And now the food. Actually, you can't do anything bad with pizza if you can. Unfortunately, the statements from my children were “Mom, they are disgusting…and now I have stomach pains and diarrhea with my partner. Unfortunately my doner burger didn't taste good either. The response from this is that it is not time to save time and rather cook at home. A tip to the operators, it's better to do one project correctly and not to host several restaurants, e.g. a junk shop, at the same time. So eating with children is not recommended.

Doner kebabs and pizzas are always great. However, it was a little better a few years ago. After all, the familiar staff is always very friendly and the atmosphere has become much more inviting since the move Definitely recommended

Well, I've eaten a lot of bad kebabs, but this one in the restaurant convinced me that it was the worst. The bread was just cold and when you took a bite it was like rubber. The meat was completely cold. The tzaziki sauce tasted sour and no longer good and the salad looked like it had been there for 3 days. I'll probably never go there again, which I think is a shame.

20 deserved stars from me. Super tasty and always fresh. Quality 100%. The employees and the boss are always nice and hospitable. The prices are also totally ok. I'm happy to pay more if I get good stuff. Highly recommended ❤️

We wanted to test the store, we waited 10 minutes for our order to be taken. Afterwards everyone just stood around (there were 4 employees). We got 2 kebab boxes, first the order was made incorrectly and in the end there were what felt like 3 fries and 3 grams of meat in the box. We wanted cocktail sauce but only a small dollop of curry sauce was put on it. Employees were mildly annoyed. In total we were there for at least 30 minutes. I wouldn't go there again.

The employees were very friendly and the store was quite tidy. My wife and I found the Dürum roll to be very minimalistic. Little meat and not so nice crisp salads. We are used to better ones from “our” kebab shop in Höver near Hanover. 🤷🙏

Food average - neither good nor bad. They don't serve beer. Payment only in cash. The staff does not speak English, and the menu is only German. Ok for a quick meal, but probably not for anything more.

Netter Chef! Gute leckere Pizza 🍕 Mein Favorit ist die Pizza Diavolo, sprich Peperoni 🌶. Die 🥙 Döner sind schön groß und reichlich gefüllt mit frischen Zutaten. Manchmal ist es aber schwierig telefonisch jemanden dort zu erreichen. Insgesamt aber die beste Möglichkeit in Hessisch Oldendorf essen zu gehen, oder zu bestellen. Bester Döner Laden vor Ort und Umgebung!

Meiner Meinung nach sehr gutes Essen. Dönerteller bestellt und mehr als ausreichende Portion bekommen. Fleisch war lecker und saftig. Salat und Pommes waren auch frisch. Service war nett und freundlich. Gerne wieder!

Dönermann meines Vertrauens😋. Die Nudeln schmecken wirklich himmlisch! Vorallem mit Brokkoli und Hähnchen! Sauber und schönes Ambiente(Istanbul feeling). Immer wieder gerne ☺️

Alles wie immer, weiter so. Ab 01.05. ist die neue Speisekarte gültig.

Naja. An zwei Tagen 2x die gleiche Pizza bestellt (Schinken mit zusätzlich Paprika). 1x nur Schinken bekommen, leider zu spät bemerkt, beim 2. Mal Schinken+Peperoni und bei erneutem Versuch der gleichen Bestellung plötzlich nur noch Paprika, aber gar kein Schinken. Dazu 4 Euro zuviel abrechnen wollen... Da reißt auch der Cay nix mehr raus. Papierkarten überholt, weil Preise erhöht. Und manchmal die digitale Anzeige im Geschäft nicht an.... Da gerät bezahlen zur Lotterie. Leider zur Zeit der einzige Imbiss in HO. Wer keine Konkurrenz hat, kann sich solche Fehler erlauben..... leider.

Nach 21:00 Uhr kann man nur noch Pizza bestellen obwohl er bis 22uhr geöffnet hat Sonst ist das Essen in Ordnung

Update 28.12.2022 Der Service wird immer schlimmer. Es wird nicht mal mehr die telefonische Bestellung ausgeführt. Man bestellt per Telefon und bekommt die Auskunft man darf in 20 Minuten abholen. Und vor Ort wird das bestellte Produkt erst dann in in die Produktion gegeben. Hängt wohl mit dem neuen Angestellten zusammen. Der Fahrer ist mit Abstand das schlechteste Aushängeschild was in der Region zu finden ist. Unfreundlich und arrogant auf extremen Niveau. Ich beziehe mich auf persönliche Erfahrung mit der Person. Man sollte immer vorbestellen. Wie immer wenn kein weiterer Imbiss in der Nähe ist spielt die Qualität nur zweite Geige. Wir sind froh das nun bisschen Abwechslung nach HO. kommt. Angebot ist groß, Bedienung machen nur das nötigste. Freundlichkeit ist mehr gespielt als gewollt. Produktqualität ist nur Durchschnitt. Aber da Platzhirsch kann man keine Alternative finden.

Die Döner mit Bulgar-Salat sind riesengroß und sehr herzhaft. Der Service ist Top und sehr freundlich.

Nette Angestellte, Speisen sind in Ordnung - waren aber mal besser, ziemlich teuer dafür.. Bieten einen Lieferdienst - jedoch benötigt der häufig sehr sehr viel Zeit.

Habe mir einen Lamacun mit Hähnchenfleisch gekauft und war sehr enttäuscht. Das Fleisch hatte überhaupt keine richtige Konsistenz und war mit ganzen Knorpelstücken versehen. Der Krautsalat war für meinen Geschmack mit viel zu viel Essig versehen. Die Bedienung machte mir leider auch einen genervten Eindruck, kurz um: es hat mir nicht geschmeckt sodass 2/3 im Müll landeten

5 Sterne für einen super Dönerladen ! Wir waren mit sechs Personen dort - alle rundherum zufrieden!! Die Pizzen - sehr lecker und kross 😘, der Dönerteller - hübsch angerichtet - wie im Restaurant 🍽. Das Fleisch war auf den Punkt gegrillt , nicht trocken und lecker gewürzt. Die Dönertaschen - prima, reichhaltig und 😋sehr schmackhaft. Die Lacmanhun super!!! Gefüllt mit absolut frisch gemachtem Salat, frischen Kräutern und leckerer Soße! ➡️Es gibt hier seit kurzem spezielle selbstgemachte Soßen - alles frisch und hausgemacht. Einfach mal nachfragen 😉. Der Laden an sich ist hell, geräumig, schön gemacht, blitzsauber und bietet über die Panoramafront einen tollen Blick auf den Baxmannbrunnen und das Treiben auf dem Marktplatz. Sehr chillig.... Sitzplätze drinnen und draußen, kinderfreundlich 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 ; mit gastfreundlicher Toilette. Toller Familienbetrieb mit individueller Note - danke das ihr da seid!

habe einen Döner da gegessen aber war so klein und nicht lecker da habe ich auf dem Rückweg gesehen das Berlin Döner schon geöffnethat und dachte ich probiere einfach mal. Der Berlin Döner war sooo lecker das ich gleich noch einen bestellt habe. 3 Döner an einem Abend weil die so gut schmecken. Berlin Döner rulez HO

Freundlich wurden schnell bedient. Essen war lecker.Ob kleinen Hunger oder Grossen sauber Verarbeitung.Man kann vor Ort essen oder auch mitnehmen.Bringdienst anrufen sind immer freundlich.

"Früher" gab es dort mit Abstand den Besten Döner weit und breit. Irgendwann hat sich allerdings die Sauce sowie die Fleischzusammensetzung geändert, so dass ich sagen muss, dass sich der Geschmack zum negativen hin geändert hat. Allerdings ist das natürlich subjektiv und jeder hat einen anderen Geschmack. Ich find´s halt nicht mehr so gut wie früher. Die Pizzen sind wie allgemein in Dönerläden durchschnittlich und nciht mit einer guten Pizzeria vergleichbar. Allerdings erwarte ich auch genau so ein Pizza, wie ausgeliefert wird, wenn ich da bestelle. Alles in allem ein ordentlicher Fast Food Imbiss.

Wirklich nettes Personal mit echt guten Dönern und vielen anderen Gerichten zu vernünftigen Preisen. Gehe dort regelmäßig hin :)
