Friendly welcome and, at least at the beginning, attentive service. The ambience is harmonious and appealing, the drinks are on the table promptly. So it got off to a good start and we were happy about the dishes described on the menu. When these were served, everything looked extremely tasty. Nobody was disappointed, the quality of the food was consistently high. After all, there were seven of us and we were all thrilled. My veal cheeks on point, that was pure enjoyment. Then the place got a little fuller and our waitress had her hands full. We would have liked to drink something more, but they no longer had an eye for us. So the payment process took a long time. Of course we all had great understanding of the situation, because our waitress was just racing. I would have loved for it to end the way it began. Nevertheless, I would like to give a crystal clear recommendation for a visit and therefore give it 5 stars in the overall rating. Thank you!

Very pleasant meal. Very tasteful, great service and atmosphere.

We sat down for a moment and got a card straight away, but when we saw the prices we left straight away. It's not like we couldn't afford it, but the prices are just outrageous. Starters (e.g. bread with avocado cream €13.50). Pizzas over €19, Wiener Schnitzel almost €30. Simply utopian. And that in a small town like Hessisch Oldendorf.

We had dinner here yesterday with colleagues. It was great. Somewhat upscale cuisine, but very tasty. I was recommended a really delicious wine. The food was excellent. Absolutely recommend the dessert, especially the sorbet! Service and ambience top. You should bring some time with you, it's not a fast-food restaurant. It's worth the wait. We would not have expected a restaurant like this in Hessisch Oldendorf.

Again, super great, tasty and imaginative starters. The main course was also absolutely delicious and first class! Highly recommended wine range. We always like to come back and enjoy a few hours of 'Mediterranean feeling' - thanks to the team!

Super nice restaurant with an outdoor area. There are blankets outside. A really great atmosphere inside with super friendly and attentive service! For food: great selection of food; Main and desserts. Daily/weekly recommendations are also included. Very nicely prepared food which of course tasted great. Water is also brought for the dog! Price is a bit high but absolutely justified. 100% recommendation!!!!!

A very special experience that we somehow didn't expect in Hessisch Oldendorf. A great ambience and incredibly delicious food. No one-size-fits-all approach, but rather individually prepared fresh dishes. Tasty and imaginatively prepared. Something for a few special hours.

Can't recommend the shop. You want the food to be of a high standard. Taste, nothing more appearance than reality. There are better restaurants in downtown Hameln

There is exactly one vegetarian dish on the menu. It's simply no longer relevant these days. Pretty disappointing considering the prices.

Unfortunately, my tagliatelle must have been standing at the pass for too long. They were only lukewarm. The waitress didn't even take her into the kitchen. But nothing was done with them there because they came back a little colder after a short time. A pity.

We regularly visit the Schoengeist in alternating company and are thrilled every time. The food is of high quality and we always enjoyed it very much. The changing menu also often attracts us to the Schoengeist, as does the relaxed atmosphere. It's clean, which is an important aspect for me. The waiters are courteous and always available for a short, pleasant conversation. I would particularly like to highlight the waitress Melissa. She always welcomes us in a good mood. A lot of respect to the bosses and the entire team. The Schoengeist is an enrichment for Hessisch Oldendorf.

Wir waren zu dritt am 07.01.24 da. Ich möchte dem Restaurant freundlich einen Reservierungsservice empfehlen, denn wer telefonisch nur abends erreichbar ist, keine Webseite und nur Social Media Seiten hat und dann auf Messages über die Social Media Seiten nicht reagiert, sollte seine Kundenkommunikation vereinfachen/verbessern. Das Restaurant an sich ist recht klein und geschmackvoll eingerichtet, der Service ist sehr nett und freundlich. Für die gehobenen Preise waren Speisen und Getränke in Ordnung, meine Begleiterinnen waren von Lachs und Tagliatelle durchaus begeistert, mein Black Angus Steak ging geradeso noch als das bestellte Medium durch, war aber leider sehr stark gepfeffert. Und nein ich habe kein Pfeffersteak bestellt. Die Fleischqualität war ok. Die Jus war etwas essiglastig. Letzteres sicherlich auch Geschmackssache, sehr empfehlen kann ich das Tiramisu - super lecker. Gute Espressomaschine ist vorhanden, kann aber leider nicht richtig bedient werden - sehr schade. Was völlig fehlte waren Milchalternativen, für mich ein No-Go. Beides könnte man leicht verbessern. Ich kann einen Besuch empfehlen, vor Ort sicherlich die beste Alternative wenn man mal gut speisen möchte. Im Detail gibt es noch Luft nach oben.

Zu Silvester: Essen war nicht schlecht, aber: Völlig überteuert. Zwischen den Gängen gab es kein neues Besteck. Keine Preise auf der Sylvester- Menükarte. Am Ende keine Rechnung, nur mündlich der Betrag genannt. Nie wieder!

Sehr gutes Essen, sehr nettes Team. Werden wieder kommen. Auf jedenfall einen Tisch reservieren, es ist sehr gut Besucht.

Sehr zuvorkommendes Personal, super Service. Essen super lecker, eine absolute Empfehlung! Wer was für sein Geld will geht ins Schöngeist. Preise sind völlig angemessen, für das was man geboten bekommt: saisonal, kreativ und einfach richtig lecker. Eine absolute Empfehlung und immer einen Besuch wert. Der Mel Spezial ist ein absolutes Highlight, unglaublich lecker und die Inhalte streng geheim - unbedingt probieren!

Wer einen richtig schönen Abend verbringen möchte, ist hier gut aufgehoben. Essen ist top, Service super nett und aufmerksam. Die Desserts sind ein Traum und auch die Weinkarte kann sich sehen lassen. Ein Hauptgewinn für Hessisch Oldendorf, wir kommen wieder…

Sehr gute Pizza gegessen. Die anderen hatten Rumpsteak, auch sehr gut. Hauswein ist zu empfehlen.

Wir waren im September zum Kurzurlaub in der Gegend und haben uns relativ spontan für das Schöngeist entschieden und wir wurden nicht enttäuscht. Ansprechende Lage, wir saßen vor dem Restaurant im Außenbereich und fühlten uns in den Süden versetzt. Auch das Ambiente innen und außen sehr schön, Deko, Gläser und Geschirr sehr stilvoll ausgewählt. Das wichtigste ist natürlich das Essen und das war sehr gut. Kreative Gerichte die gut abgeschmeckt und ästhetisch angerichtet waren. Der Service war sehr gut, aufmerksam und sympathisch. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und kommen gerne wieder wenn wir wieder in der Gegend sind.

Und wieder ein Restaurant nach meinem Geschmack. Sehr empfehlenswert. Freundlicher Service. Sehr leckeres, toll dekorativ angerichtetes Essen. Die Bezahlung hat leider etwas länger gedauert. Wenn ich mal wieder hier in der Gegend bin, komme ich sehr gerne wieder.

Wir waren am Freitag Abend spontan da und wurden Herzlich empfangen und haben ein Super Restaurant entdeckt, das Ambiente, das Essen und die Servicekraft waren einfach Klasse. Nur zu Empfehlen.

Unglaublich leckere Gerichte. Von der Vorspeise (getrüffeltes Carpaccio und Kürbis Cappuccino) über den Hauptgang (Rehrücken) bis hin zum Dessert (Schokotraum) einfach genial. Dazu leckerer Wein, das schöne Ambiente und die netten Leute. Rundum gelungen und eine klare Empfehlung.

Wir waren schon ein paar Mal da und waren jedesmal überaus zufrieden. Das Essen ist fantastisch und der Service war auch immer sehr gut. Ich freue mich schon auf den nächsten Besuch.

Netter Service. Tolles Ambiente, wenn auch etwas laut. Preise etwas zu hoch. Unter 12,- keine Pizza. Der Teig könnte besser sein. Gut belegt.

Schönes Restaurant und essen war spitze, auch wenn meine Pizza etwas später kam einfach weiter zu empfehlen!

Bin mit einem Kumpel durch Zufall an dem Laden gelandet, da wir zuvor 2 Griechen angepeilt haben, die „zum Glück“ Betriebsferien hatten. Sind dann an dem Restaurant vorbeigefahren und haben angehalten. Jetzt zum Laden selbst, das Personal war super zuvorkommend und äußerst freundlich. Keine aufgesetzte Freundlichkeit, sondern man hat den Jungs angemerkt, dass sie mit Herz und Leidenschaft dabei sind. Das Essen war wirklich Grandios, alles frisch, hervorragend zubereitet, genau den Punkt getroffen und super Qualität. Die Preise sind eher gehobene Klasse, aber das Essen war auch jeden Cent wert. Ich bin super froh hier gelandet zu sein und werde definitiv wiederkommen.
