We had dinner at Iljan's again today. And we found out that today was the last day. Unfortunately it is closing, we will miss him and his employees and of course also his delicious food. We wish him and his family all the best for the rest of his life. Kind regards from Papenburg
The food is very tasty. But the service is average. There are not enough service personnel. They brought the food for a very long time, they forgot about the drinks..... if this does not matter to you, then be sure to come to this restaurant
We were there today, booking a table online was super easy. We were given a friendly welcome and had plenty of time to choose from the menu. For starters we had veg. samosa and chicken pakora, both really tasty and fresh. They also generally serve some bread with three small dips. The main courses were chicken tikka masala and butter chicken: nicely presented with a warming function, rice and bread (refills are available if needed) and drinks. The normal spiciness, unless you specify otherwise, is piquant to slightly spicy (tolerable for the average eater, I think). The service was there regularly and asked/checked whether anything was missing or if we needed anything. It only took a while to pay. In total, the bill for the above dishes was around €62. It was worth the trip, we would gladly come back! Absolutely authentic, delicious Indian food and very friendly service!
As part of a large private celebration, I was able to enjoy the range of services offered by this well-known restaurant.
Friendly reception and equally quick, unobtrusive service.
After a very tasty starter soup from the terrine, there were various types of game (wild boar, venison with plenty of cranberries) and beef, Brussels sprouts with bacon, red cabbage, applesauce, boiled potatoes, coquettes. All meat tasty and tender. Overall, an impeccable restaurant performance!
Great food, tastes very tasty, and fresh ingredients, staff is very friendly, they take the time to have a drink and have a chat. Cocktails are also highly recommended, I was here with a friend for 2 days in a row and will definitely come back.
Nice restaurant with a terrace overlooking the sea! Really cozy inside too! Sat on the terrace and were served by a very nice lady. Drinks prices were ok! My wife had also tried very tasty kibbelinge juicy fish with Croser breading! Unfortunately I was disappointed with my Labskaus, quite a small portion and not tasty either. Mine was most likely made with corned beef and there wasn't much of a side dish for the price. I should have ordered something else! The spaghetti with prawns smelled very good and the portion was decent and was ordered several times! We sat inside later and treated ourselves to an aperol! Despite the Labskau, a very nice stay and the evening, especially the sunset, was great!
