Das Essen war köstlich! Schönes Ambiente. Tolle Atmosphäre und das Essen war super und sehr viel. Man wird auf jeden Fall satt. Preisleistung war auch perfekt. Einfach super!

Uns ist das Buffetessen nicht sonderlich gut bekommen, und nach anschließender Recherche war das unser letzter Besuch hier. Einfach mal beim Gesundheitsamt nachlesen, was der Beamte alles vorgefunden hat (Ammerland/ Veröffentlichung von Verstößen gegen die Lebensmittelhygiene). Auszug aus der Veröffentlichung: "Des Weiteren befand sich Rattenkot in Lebensmitteln".

Wir haben mit der ganzen Familie Essen bestellt. Jedes Gericht war der HAMMER! Alles schmeckte fantastisch gewürtzt einfach nur lecker und jedes Gericht auf seine eigene Weise ganz besonders. Wir sind sehr froh, Namaste gefunden zu haben und werden dort nun häufiger bestellen. Das Namaste ist ab sofort unser Favorit, wenn es um die indische Küche geht.

Der beste Inder im Umkreis von 100 km. Das ist Indien, liebevoll, bunt, schöne Athmosphäre. Kombigerichte sind top. Schärfe 4 entspriecht normal Indien, voller Geschmack, es ist scharf, selbst das Mango Chicken ist am Besten. Mango Lassie top, aber nicht wie beim Discounter.Sehr authentisches Erlebnis mit indischer Küche.

Tolles Essen und eine sehr authentische indische Küche. Die Gerichte haben mich sofort an meine Zeit in Indien erinnert. Auf Wunsch werden sie original indisch scharf oder milder zubereitet. Das Personal ist ausgesprochen freundlich und aufmerksam, und ich wurde schnell bedient. Die Portionen hatten genau die richtige Größe und haben auch meinen hungrigen Magen zufrieden gestellt. Klare Empfehlung!

Letztes Mal Namaste World ! Leider überhaupt nicht gut, hatten das Buffet genommen. Das Essen war teilweise kalt und die Pfannen mit dem Essen wurden einfach nur nachgefüllt (TOTAL UNHYGIENISCH) , Stickiger Raum , lange Wartezeiten (15min knapp bis man überhaupt etwas zu trinken bekommen hat), Tische dreckig… Service war schlecht , leider sehr unfreundlich Das Essen war eigentlich ganz lecker nur das ganze Drumherum war wirklich einfach schrecklich … Letztes Mal !

Wir waren heute vor Ort. Auf Grund des Wetters konnten wir draußen sitzen. Wir wurden zügig bedient, der Tisch machte einen eher lieblosen Eindruck. Naan als Vorspeise war ok, aber auch nicht besonders. Der Hauptgang mit Huhn war sehr lecker, auch die Schärfe optimal. Leider ist mir ein Missgeschick passiert, und etwas von der Soße auf die Tischdecke gelandet. Ein Ober kam leider nicht, so dass ich ins Lokal ging um Hilfe zu bekommen. Leider drückte man mir nur eine Papierrolle in die Hand , dass war’s. Service sieht anders aus.

Unser Essen kam schnell und hat insgesamt geschmeckt. Die Saucen waren leider zu flüssig und ließen sich daher nicht so einfach genießen, sie tropften komplett vom Papadam. Der Hauptgang war gut und wie gewünscht gewürzt. Service und Ambiente müssten sich deutlich verändern. Der Kellner war nett aber nicht sehr aufmerksam. Er war alleine und oft gar nicht da. Die Teppiche und besonders die Fenster waren sehr schmutzig, die Stühle abgeschabt und sehr unansehnlich. Also: Essen gut, der Rest......

Nein, die vielen guten Bewertungen sind kein Fake. Echt sehr gute Küche und sehr freundliches Personal. Der Koch ist Gold 🏅 wert. Indische Restaurants in Oldenburg können sich hier was abgucken. Uneingeschränkt 5 Sterne 🌟. Immer wieder.

Sehr aufmerksame und freundliche Bedienung. Wir waren mit vier Personen und jeder hatte ein anderes Menü. Habe einiges quer probiert. Es war eine gewürztechnische Erfahrung, zwar teilweise ungewöhnlich, aber immer sehr lecker. Ich hätte nie gedacht, daß frittierter Blumenkohl so schmecken kann. Der Hauptgang außerordentlich lecker und sehr sättigend. Der Preis für das gebotene, war gut. Alles in allem eine sehr positive Erfahrung.

Absolut empfehlenswert. Tolles Essen, schönes Ambiente, sehr guter Service und dazu noch günstige Preise. Beim nächsten Aufenthalt in Bad Zwischenahn werden wir dieses Restaurant wieder aufsuchen.

Wir waren mit 5 Personen zum Essen und gleich begeistert von dem freundlichen Empfang und dem gemütlichen Ambiente. Das Essen hat allen sehr gut geschmeckt, die Vorspeisen kamen mit Chapatti und 4 kleinen Soßen. Das Essen war toll und besonders gewürzt, für jeden was dabei, der Maracuja-Lassi mal was anderes und sehr gut. Glutenfrei, vegetarisch oder vegan, für alle eine gute Auswahl vorhanden.

Dieses Restaurant ist wirklich außergewöhnlich gut. Authentisches indisches Essen zu fairen Preisen. Wir sind regelmäßig hier, weil es immer so gut schmeckt. Das Essen ist, auch wenn man keine Angabe macht, oder "nicht scharf" wünscht, trotzdem leicht scharf. Für unseren Geschmack jedoch völlig in Ordnung. Für Kinder jedoch evtl. ungeeignet. Kinder können jedoch problemlos Reis oder die Vorspeisen etc. essen. Es gibt auch spezielle Kindergerichte, diese haben wir aber noch nicht ausprobiert. Die Portionsgröße ist so, dass wir uns fast immer ein Gericht teilen. Reis gibt es mehr als genug und Naanbrot (unbeschreiblich lecker) ebenfalls. Wir haben auch schon öfter Butterchicken oder Mangochicken zum Mitnehmen bestellt. Ebenfalls top.

Moin, ich hatte schonmal eine Bewertung fürs Namaste W. geschrieben, damals noch im Keller! Da waren wir vom Kellergefühl garnicht überzeugt. Und ich hatte geschrieben, daß wir an einem anderen Ort gerne wieder kämen. Gestern waren wir nun erneut da, jetzt allerdings in der Bahnhofstraße. Völlig anderes und schönes Ambiente, super Essen und auch die junge Dame im Service war überaus freundlich und fragte auch nach bezüglich der Schärfe der Gerichte. Jetzt ist es aus unserer Sicht auf jeden Fall eine Empfehlung! Die Tischreservierung über die Website war unkompliziert, wäre an einem Montag aber wohl nicht nötig gewesen. Wir kommen gerne wieder!!!

Wir waren zum ersten Mal hier und es hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Die Portionen waren reichhaltig und wir konnten kostenfrei Reis nachbestellen. Das Lokal ist verhältnismäßig klein, aber authentisch eingerichtet. Der Service war aufmerksam. Sehr gutes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis. Lediglich die Tischdecken hätten einmal ausgetauscht werden können, da sich darauf Flecken der vorherigen Gäste befanden.

Die Atmosphäre am neuen Standort ist sehr schön. Die Bedienung war sehr herzlich und das Essen (Buttter Chicken) war sehr gut. Gab auch Brot dazu. Wir kommen gerne wieder 👍🏼

Die Atmosphäre im Restaurant ist authentisch und sehr interessant: viele Elemente der indischen Kultur, Fotos und liebevoll gestaltete Details sorgen für ein wunderschönes Gesamtbild. Ich habe ein Mango-Lassi bestellt – ein echtes Highlight. Die Präsentation war sehr ansprechend und der Geschmack einfach hervorragend. Mein Gericht war zunächst zu scharf für mich, doch der Kellner bemerkte es sofort, fragte nach, ob ich es essen könne, und bot mir an, es gegen eine mildere Variante auszutauschen. Diese aufmerksame und respektvolle Art des Service hat mich wirklich beeindruckt und vermittelt das Gefühl, willkommen zu sein. Besonders hervorzuheben ist die große Vielfalt an Gerichten. Unsere Gruppe bestand aus Menschen mit sehr unterschiedlichen Vorlieben – vegetarisch, vegan, halal und so weiter. Für jeden gab es eine passende und schmackhafte Option, was für ein durchdachtes und vielseitiges Menü spricht. Das Essen war sehr lecker, der Service ausgezeichnet, und das Restaurant ist sauber und angenehm. Ein Ort, den ich auf jeden Fall weiterempfehlen kann.

Die vielen TOP-Bewertungen sind für uns nicht nachvollziehbar! Wir waren am 21.10.25 hier. Nettes Ambiente, sehr ruhig, recht gut besucht, schöner Tisch. Alles zügig ausgesucht und bestellt: 1x332-Butter Chicken + 1x337-Chicken Palak. Auf der Webseite ist bei „Speisekarte“ ein Bild vom „Butter Chicken“ zu sehen. Dort ist recht viel Fleischanteil dargestellt. Sieht gut aus! Das hat jedoch mit der Realität nichts zu tun! Hühnerbruststücke: naja, ev. 80/90g – es dürfte gerne doppelt so viel sein! Tomaten-Sahne-Sauce: ausreichend gut, es bedeckte alle kleinen Fleischstückchen. Gemahlene Cashewnüsse und Mandeln: Fehlanzeige. Reis: ausreichend, könnte nachbestellt werden. Und das soll dann die Spezialität des Hauses sein? Für dann 17,49 € ? Für das, was ich dann erhalte ist das viel zu teuer! Beim anderen Gericht sah es nicht besser aus. Enttäuschend !!! Da wir uns nicht so gut mit authentischer indischer Küche auskennen, war uns nicht so ganz bewusst, das unsere Gerichte komplett ohne irgendein Gemüse/Salat-Anteil serviert werden. Beides war lecker, aber ausser den Saucen waren alle angepriesenen Inhalte nicht oder das Fleisch nur in sehr begrenzter Menge vorhanden. Wir werden nicht wiederkommen!

Namaste World in Bad Zwischenahn – also at its new location on Bahnhofstrasse – is still highly recommended! We enjoy trying the extensive menu selection. Yesterday we had chicken from the tandoor oven and vegetarian eggplant, served with fragrant rice and oven-fresh naan, which was delicious. The appetizers are also definitely worth trying! நன்றி - Naṉṟi, thank you!

We were there for the second time, this time with our friends. A free appetizer with sauces, the heavenly aroma in the restaurant. It makes us want more. Huge selection of main courses, meat as tender as butter. Very friendly and attentive service. Large portions to fill you up. And sooooo delicious. I like the new restaurant on Bahnhofstrasse better than the previous one in the basement. It's excellent and diverse for vegetarians. The food is very tasty and a really good alternative in Zwischenahn, where there are plenty of pizza and pasta options. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. I wish you the best of luck at your new location.

We visited this truly fantastic restaurant for the first time today, and one thing is for sure: we'll be back 👌. The moment you walk in, you feel at home; the decor is simply cozy and traditional. The service is extremely attentive, and the food is incredibly delicious. If you like, you can spend a long time browsing the extensive menu; there's something for everyone. We were preceded by a "greeting from the kitchen" with four fantastic sauces. We are absolutely thrilled, thank you so much 🙏

Being a native Indian who used to enjoy Indian lavish food, this restaurant makes me very sad and unsatisfied in terms of food taste. i dont recommend to any one who tastes original Indian flavours. may be good to go for foreigners

Update 180725: The restaurant has moved to a new location in Bad Zwischenahn. Very well located, with both indoor and outdoor seating, and an Indian flair. The food is still exceptionally good and, in terms of quality, can absolutely compete with top Indian restaurants in Hamburg, for example. The service is very friendly. Anyone looking for excellent Indian food in the Oldenburg area should try this restaurant. Review from 2024: Authentic Indian cuisine. Roti, chutney, tandoori, etc. – all dishes are exceptionally delicious. Very friendly service. Unfortunately, the interior feels a bit cold due to the size of the room (in the basement).

The food was wonderful and the restaurant itself is also beautifully decorated 😊 We got complimentary Bread to our food which was a very pleasant surprise and the main dishes and drink we ordered were great as well! We were happy to be there and would definitely go back 😁

I highly recommend this restaurant. We were there for the first time today, but definitely won't be the last. The service is excellent and friendly, and the menu selection is enormous! I only know of two restaurants where I could eat 75% of the menu, and this is one of them. You can choose the spiciness level (1-5). If you've ever cooked Indian food yourself, you know how time-consuming some dishes can be to prepare, and that justifies the price. The mango lassi is, of course, a must. You can sit inside or outside; it feels cozy, and there's plenty of parking behind the building. It seems to be an insider tip because you don't have to reserve in advance. We felt very comfortable. Very tasty Indian food. After moving from a location in the basement, I tried this restaurant and was satisfied. Everything above 4, but just under 4.5 – hence 4 points.

Our first time eating Indian food. An explosion of flavor, perfectly balanced with European spice. We had chicken mango and chicken butter, which were simply delicious. The portion sizes were also generous, and the complimentary naan with dips was super tasty. Very friendly service.

The new location (after moving) has been open in Bad Zwischenahn for 3 days now. Again, much care for the atmosphere of the restaurant. The service is very friendly and helpful. The food is particularly delicious! We love Indian food and Namasté World is our absolute favorite. We have tried several main courses in the meantime, and they are always very tasty and tender! Our favorite starters are the chicken and eggplant Pakora.

We came here spontaneously. The food was delicious – aromatic, well-seasoned – we've rarely had such delicious Indian food. The service was very friendly and attentive – the drinks arrived very quickly, and the food shortly after. Our daughter ordered Aloo Gobi and was very satisfied. Highly recommended!

We were a little skeptical at first because the entrance was a staircase leading down to the "basement." But when we walked through the frosted glass door, we entered a cute little restaurant. The servers were super friendly and made sure everything was in order. We were thrilled with the prices on the menu. It was cheaper than expected. And we're still raving about the food today. It was the most delicious Indian food we've ever eaten. All in all, we highly recommend this restaurant and will definitely be back again!

We visited the restaurant yesterday and unfortunately had a disappointing experience. First of all, we waited an incredible 1.5 hours for our food. Although the restaurant was full, a note about the longer waiting time would have been appropriate. In addition, they could have asked us in the meantime if we would like something to drink or bread or something similar. The cleanliness also left a lot to be desired, as the tables were not really cleaned before the next guests were seated. The prices are outrageously high in relation to the quality of the food. We ordered rice with a little chicken in sauce, a dish that is usually quick to prepare. At least it tasted good. To our added inconvenience, a guest at the next table took off his shoes - really unhygienic and unpleasant! There were also three dogs present in the restaurant, which could be a big problem for people with dog allergies. The restaurant itself is in the basement with no windows, making it very warm and stuffy. All in all, based on our experience, we unfortunately cannot recommend the restaurant.

Overall, the taste of the food was okay, but the naan bread was dry and didn't taste that good. The main course could have been significantly warmer. The service was quite slow and reserved. Unfortunately we didn't like the atmosphere at all, large room, low ceilings and quite bright light.

Really very tasty and authentic food. A large and diverse selection. The combination dishes are particularly great because you can try many different dishes.

We were there today, ordering a table online was super easy. We were warmly welcomed and had enough time to choose from the menu. We had veg as a starter. Samosa and Chicken Pakora, both really tasty and fresh. Basically, some bread is served with three small dips. The main courses were Chicken Tikka Masala and Butter Chicken: beautifully presented with a warming function, rice and bread (additional items are available if necessary) and drinks. The normal spiciness, if you don't say anything different, is spicy to slightly spicy (tolerable for the average eater, I think). The service was there regularly and asked/checked whether something was missing or whether we needed anything. It just took a while to pay. In total we had around €62 on the bill for the above-mentioned dishes. The journey was worth it, we would love to come back! Absolutely authentic delicious Indian food and very friendly service!

Wow! There is better Indian food nowhere in East Frisia! The Manchurian starter in particular was a taste explosion. There are also many vegan and vegetarian dishes.

Very tasty Indian food – I particularly like the starters and curries. The dishes are balanced and refined, very well and authentically seasoned. Yesterday I had the mixed pakoras and the lamb Madras as my main course – simply perfect! If you like it spicier, you can get a very intense and delicious paste made from Indian green chilies to season. The staff is particularly attentive and courteous. Thanks and see you next time!

The Namaste World in Bad Zwischenahn is a real insider tip for Indian cuisine. The dishes are aromatic, authentic and offer a wide selection, including for vegetarians and vegans. I particularly loved the tandoori dish with freshly baked naan. The service is friendly and courteous, and the level of spiciness can be individually adjusted. The food is worth every moment. Absolutely recommended – I’ll be back!

Very nice! Delicious. The food is really authentic and very tasty. For some dishes you can choose levels of spiciness between 1 and 5. I took level 4 and it wasn't too spicy. At level 3, green chilli was offered again for sharpening. As a goodie at the end, I was given an extremely delicious spice mixture of anise, fennel and sweets that was unknown to me, which was a real surprise and rounded off the evening. We'll be back.

Namaste World in Bad Zwischenahn is highly recommended! The atmosphere is warm and inviting, with beautiful decorations that immediately transport you to another world. The staff is incredibly friendly and makes you feel immediately at ease. The food is of exceptional quality: fresh, tasty and prepared with great attention. The herbs and spices are perfectly balanced, and there is a wide choice of dishes for both vegetarians and meat lovers. I really enjoyed the authentic flavors and the care with which everything is presented. This is without a doubt a place I will return to again and again.
