Service was terrible. Guests left because no one was waiting. Two waitresses, one sitting at the table eating a meal, the other very rudely. After I asked for directions to the restroom, they told them to go to the main entrance. We were sitting on the terrace. There were only two guests in the restaurant. The restrooms belong to the municipality and were locked. The manager should really make sure they're open. Conclusion: We'll never go back to the restaurant.

My family and I visited the restaurant for a family reunion. It was one of the top worst restaurant experiences I have ever had. I am utterly puzzled by the treatment we received. We waited 45 minutes for the food. One of the party members stood up and went to ask for our food. We were told that "the kitchen is very busy today". A half of the restaurant was empty. We sat with empty water glasses when waiting. There was no one asking us if we need water/alcoholic beverages. Two out of four plates was cold. The meet was not edible. My pasta plate was oversalted. We tried to speak with the waiter about the very poor food quality. We were told by the waiter that the cook was tired as he had an event that he just came back from. This is not a joke, this is the answer we got. We were polite and cordial. We paid the bill. An absolute disaster of an experience.

We had a very, very delicious meal in a very nice restaurant that was renovated in the summer. Unfortunately, the service was a disaster. The male waitress was one of the most unpleasant people we've ever had. She had a stony expression and wasn't the kind of professional you'd expect in a restaurant like this. Because of the good food and the beautiful view of the sea, we'll be back and hope for friendly staff.

I was thrilled with my visit to Oscar's Restaurant! The food was not only fresh and perfectly prepared, but also beautifully presented. I was particularly impressed by the pasta and meat dishes – you can immediately taste the high quality of the ingredients. The service was exceptionally friendly, attentive, and prompt, without being intrusive. You feel welcome and well looked after from the very first moment. The atmosphere is cozy yet elegant – ideal for both a relaxed dinner and special occasions. I will definitely be back and can wholeheartedly recommend Oscar's Restaurant!

Unbelievable how you're treated as a guest here! Sunday afternoon, outside in beautiful weather. When approached, the young "head waiter" comes and takes our drink order grumpily, without a smile, without a word. During our stay, he paces back and forth, cursing loudly (in Italian?), spreading a bad mood. While paying, I dared to suggest he smile. He (original text!) replied: "I'm the head waiter here, and I make the rules!" Everyone present was appalled by this rude behavior. Dear guests – spare yourself this arrogant behavior, go somewhere else! (Unfortunately, you have to give it one star...)

Everything went smoothly, and a schnapps at the end rounded off the evening perfectly! The beautiful view has already been mentioned! We'll be back! See you soon from Bremen.

Super delicious food, great service and a fantastic view of the Zwischenahner Meer!!!

We attended a small wedding there with about 30 guests. There was a starter plate of antipasti. We didn't like it much, especially the ham. When the main course arrived, I was forgotten. When it finally arrived, it was good, but everyone else had already finished. Of course, my individual case and my taste won't apply to every guest at the wedding. All in all, we were satisfied and give it 3 stars. Personally, I wouldn't eat there again. The view and the ambiance were fantastic, though!

The restaurant is highly recommended. The service is excellent. The restaurant is also wheelchair accessible. The entrance is located at the rear of the building and is easily accessible.

Das Essen war sehr lecker und die Bedienung sehr freundlich. Ich hatte mir die Miesmuscheln in Weißweinsoße und mein Partner einen Flammkuchen bestellt. Die Portionen sind perfekt. Sehr zu empfehlen. Wir kommen gerne wieder! :-)

Ok, die Vorspeisenplatte war nicht der Hit, aber in Ordnung. Ob Steak mit pfeffersauce, Medaillons oder das lammkarree waren sehr lecker!! Das Ambiente mit Blick auf den See passte auch. Nur zu empfehlen!!!

Heute waren wir im Oscars mit vier Personen zum Abendessen. Als Vorspeise hatten wir Bruscetta und dann als Hauptspeise zweimal Steak und zweimal Kalbsrücken. Der Service war wie immer hervorragend speziell zu erwähnen ist der fleißige Kellner Kostas. Der Ausblick in diesem Lokal auf das Bad Zwischenahner Meer ist eine besondere Freude. Wir kommen gerne wieder und genießen das auf den Punkt gebratene Fleisch.

Waren mit einem Stammtisch im Oscar's und unsere Tischreservierung wurde vergessen! Der Kellner hat alles gegeben um uns einen tollen Abend zu bereiten! Wir waren alle mega begeistert! Das erlebt man selten, bzw hab so eine Gastfreundlichlichkeit noch nie erlebt! Wir kommen wieder! ABSOLUTE Empfehlung!!!!

Sehr schön gelegenes Restaurant, mit einem tollen Blick auf das Meer. Die Bedienung war sehr Aufmerksam und das Essen war gut und lecker. Preislich sicherlich etwas höher aber es hat sich gelohnt. Reservierung würde ich aber immer empfehlen.

Wir hatten einen Geburtstagstisch für 3.Personen bestellt. Wir wurden mit einem Glas Sekt begrüßt und der Tisch war hübsch dekoriert. Unser unterschiedliches Essen war sehr lecker. Wir hatten einen sehr schönen Abend. Immer wieder.

Nicht schlecht...er braucht 10 Hände um das zu bewältigen...man sollte zeit mitbringen....und er müsste mehr Personal haben...aber in dieser zeit...schwer zu bekommen...

unhöflicher Service, die Kommunikation war auf ein mangelhaftes Minimum beschränkt. Ausblick toll, Getränke in Ordnung, Toilette nicht sauber.

Wir waren am 18.9 beim Oscar's mit einer Gruppe von 6 Personen. Der Service war gut. Es wurden alle Kunden trotz vollem Geschäft bedient. Die Kellner waren nett und effizient. Das essen war ausgezeichnet und sah gut aus. Ich empfehle es weiter.

Sehr schönes Restaurant in exzellenter Lage mit Blick auf das Zwischenahner Meer, sehr nette und aufmerksame Bedienung, Essen sehr schmackhaft und nett angerichtet, wir waren sehr zufrieden und kommen wieder, können dieses Restaurant nur empfehlen. Nach mehreren Besuchen ist das Oscars mittlerweile zu unserem absoluten Lieblingsrestaurant geworden, tolle Bedienung, hervorragendes Essen und natürlich die Aussicht auf den beleuchteten Kurpark, einfach schön dort.

Spontan haben wir für zwei Personen noch einen kleinen Tisch bekommen, das Essen war perfekt!! Der Chef (?) war allein den Abend da und hat alles gemanagt!! Das Restaurant war voll- er hat das Telefon bedient, Getränke zubereitet, Essen gebracht und abgeräumt- RESPEKT! Dabei ist er super freundlich geblieben, nur zu Empfehlen! 😀

Besondere Situationen (Personalmangel) erfordern besondere Lösungen ... Was will ich damit sagen? Wenn es sehr voll ist, aber wenig Personal vorhanden, dann sollte man Kunden, die sich nützlich machen wollen, in dem sie bereit sind ihren Kaffee & Kuchen am Buffet selbst zu holen, auch bedienen. Das vermeidet "Staus" und unzufriedene Kunden, die auf das Personal warten müssen, bis sie bedient werden.

Das Essen war sehr frisch, perfekt abgestimmt, der Service lustig und sehr aufmerksam. Die Lage direkt am See ist perfekt..Besser geht es nicht!

Das Oscars ist von seiner Architektur her unschlagbar schön, weil es in einem alten Prinzenallee ansässig ist. Der Erker des Ausbaus ist schon ein Traum. Leider ist das Restaurant nicht im fünf Sterne Bereich unterwegs. Ravioli mit Pfifferlingen stehen auf der Karte und es gibt Kuchen vom Blech, wenn sie verstehen was ich meine! Trotzdem ist es ein Hingucker, eine sowohl zum Kaffee, als auch zum Abendessen, mit zunehmender Gelegenheit, denn die Location ist einfach so gut.

Ein Ort wo man sich richtig verwöhnen lassen kann.Die Auswahl an frischen Waffeln und Kuchen,sehr gut.Dann die super nette Bedienung einfach top.Der Blick auf das Zwischenahner Meer wirklich schön,wie im Urlaub.Bitte weiter so,wir werden noch mal wieder kommen.

Der Biergarten ist schön. Man kann dort gut sitzen. Die Bedienung muss man allerdings mehrmals erinnern, wenn man bezahlen möchte. Das Essen dort kann ich nicht beurteilen, weil wir dort nur getrunken haben.

Sehr angenehmes Ambiente draußen und zuvorkommendes Personal. Leider gab es lediglich ein veganes Gericht, welches zwar sehr lecker war aber um satt zu werden zu wenig. Eine vegane Vorspeise und Nachspeise wäre gut.

Die Karte macht richtig was her, der Ausblick ein Träumchen. Essen und Service kann da leider nicht mithalten. Preis-/Leistung passt leider nicht. Ich komme trotzdem nochmal wieder, vielleicht gibt es dann auch das bestellte Rindercarpaccio statt Thunfisch.
