Absolutely amazing family run restaurant. The innkeeper (Holger) himself is a fine, entertaining host. The atmosphere in the kitchen is just as great as the dishes served. Nothing off the shelf, everything real. My recommendation for authentic Italian food in the middle of the Odenwald. 😍

Tiny portioned and untasty dishes

Today, we visited the restaurant again. Rarely have I experienced such a great combination of excellent food, very warm and personal treatment from the owners and employees as well as a very familiar and comfortable atmosphere. Full marks.

Wir waren die einzigen Gäste - und sind rundum begeistert. Ronny ist ein perfekter Gastgeber und ein ebenso perfekter Koch. Alle Gerichte schmeckten ausgezeichnet; zuvor gab es eine ausführliche Beratung, und als Abschluss-Überraschung noch eine kleine Crème brûlée. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und werden sicher wiederkommen.

Not a restaurant/pub that will appeal to chic hipsters but I think you can do without that here. Here, visitors still sit at the counter and chat, even if tables are free. The ambience is simple but the food and service more than make up for it! I like eating here and look forward to it regularly. It's nice that there are still bars like this (in a good sense)!

Everything is perfect all around, you really feel at home and welcome here. The food is of very good quality and is really very fresh, burgers, steaks, everything can be eaten there conscientiously and with pleasure. 👊👍 Gracias 🙏🙏 the two from gas station

Nityanand has good food in general. Service is also amazing. However some of chicken dishes has chicken that is separately boiled and then added to the Curry, for e.g. Butter Chicken and in this case chicken doesnt have taste ..Curry is good though.
