Our waiter greeted us with the information that Le Petit Royal in Frankfurt wanted to position itself as even better than the Grill Royal in Berlin. Unfortunately, this expectation remained unfulfilled for us. The restaurant is pleasantly furnished, the atmosphere is cozy and tastefully decorated with selected art pieces. However, the quality of the food was only between 3 and 4 stars in this price range. Some dishes could have been presented more attractively, such as the ceviche, the red prawns and the crepe Suzette. The presentation of the Crêpe Suzette was disappointing as it was floating completely flat in a lot of sauce, which made it visually unappetizing. We were particularly disappointed with the wine advice. Instead of informing us about the aromas and characters of the wines, we were repeatedly asked about our budget for the bottle. Despite our advice about which flavors and styles we preferred, the advice was limited purely to price. Ultimately, we chose the grape variety ourselves (without a specific price in advance), and the bottle was served to us with the words: 'This is the cheapest one I could find!' – a disappointing experience for a restaurant of this class. Too bad.

A very nice evening with delicious food and atmosphere

We ate at Thai and Turf for the first time last night and were unfortunately very disappointed with how the evening went as we were cheated out of around €20! We didn't have a reservation, so we had to wait at the bar, okay. However, this took 1 hour without us being told a time beforehand. In addition, a couple who probably had contacts with the staff were preferred and only had to wait 10 minutes and then sat down at a table of four, which we (as a group of four) were waiting for. Since we weren't brought to the table like every other guest, we had to wait at the table for 10 minutes, including a clear hand signal, until we were finally served. After the initial contact at the table, the service went ok, but we had a large piece of plastic in our Freestyle Mixed Plate for 2. We received compensation for that, which made us happy. However, at the end we found out on the bill that we had been cheated with the voucher from b my frankfurt 2024. We had to pay full price for the Freestyle Mixed Plate, even though we were told to redeem the voucher. Only then was the invoice handed out. After several discussions with the staff, I let it go. However, it's a big shame, which is why I can't recommend the store! Attached there are photos as evidence (online price of the record, invoice and redeemed voucher)

Alina and Jasmin are great. Very attentive, very kind and quickly noticed when I was there with a friend that the men who came were not wanted or invited and then politely asked them to leave. Thank you!! <3

Large selection of various dishes. The dishes we ordered were all very tasty. Good value for money! Service is friendly but a bit slow even though there weren't many guests. The atmosphere is cozy. We'll definitely come back again.

The Legacy... I'm not sure if it lives up to the name. We once had the pulled beef and the spare ribs. The pulled beef was a bit of a disappointment in terms of taste. It wasn't really smoky, you could taste a lot of lemon and salt. As many people have said here, the spare ribs were quite fatty and not really tender. You could literally feel in your mouth how overcooked it was in some places. For the price I would also have liked more service. Only half of our cutlery was brought and the wrong food was given at the beginning. All in all... well I would have liked more.

The ambience of the restaurant is pleasant and the service was also friendly. However, as other guests here have already commented, I also had the impression that guests should not be encouraged to linger for too long. I also thought the food didn't taste particularly good. The spices were neither balanced nor authentic, but rather adapted to the European palate. There was a lot of sauce and meat, but few vegetables.

We booked a table at short notice, the service was very attentive and the food was delicious. It was a really great evening without feeling rushed! Gladly again.
