It's a shame that this great pizzeria is closed. It's a shame it was the best pizzeria in all of Frankenberg, no comparison to the new one here, the boss was great too

Eine einfache Turnhallen Gaststätte mit bodenständigen Gerichten in sensationeller Qualität. Das Wild wurde von Gatten der Wirtin selbst erlegt, oder kommt von befreundeten Jäger. Alle anderen Produkte kommen auch ausschließlich aus der Region. Die Anfahrt von fast 70 km nehmen wir gerne in Kauf.

We felt very cared for and welcome at all times. Carefully designed ambience, both in the public areas as well as in the room and in the wellness area. Extra requests (e.g. an additional topper because the mattress was too hard) were responded to quickly and without fuss. The rental eBikes were great. Likewise the food.

We dined here for our wedding anniversary. The restaurant has changed over the last 3 years. The service seemed completely unprofessional - the lady didn't get the drink first. The waiter wobbled uncertainly to the guest table (just practice at home) and the friendliness of the cellar just reached a minimum. The food did not correspond to the standard of a star kitchen (starter 3 spreads with bread did not taste homemade, meat preparation had a strange taste, fries in a wire basket like in a simple bistro) I was very disappointed. We relied on the Google reviews and were not disappointed. Everything, whether starter, main course or dessert, is truly top class and everything is to the point. Someone knows their craft, and overall a good price-performance ratio. Kitchen and service absolutely top. The apricot dumplings were divine and couldn't get any better. We'd love to come back.

We were there in the evenings between the years with six people. The restaurant is full to capacity. We would receive friendly and quick service. To our surprise, the starters arrived after a short time, followed by the main courses. Anything but normal for this number of guests. The staff is consistently friendly, knows how to have fun, and enjoys gastronomy. My mixed fish platter was good, the rice was tasty. On my next visit, I'll test the grill plate to see how well the chef achieves the various cooking points. This is where the wheat is separated from the chaff. Thanks for the lovely evening, we'll be back.

We ate pizza there for the first time and we enjoyed it very much. We will come back.
