We spontaneously stopped there today after a lovely walk. We received a very warm welcome. The restaurant is quaint and cozy. The homemade Kaiserschmarrn was delicious. We'd love to come back.

Village inn, menu ordinary, parking in the yard and along the street, really nothing special.

Honestly, top-notch pizza! Perfect dough, fresh ingredients, you can taste the attention to detail. Hardly beatable for a delivery service – for me, the best pizza in the area.

The salami and mushroom pizza was really juicy, and the base was nice and crispy. Exactly how a stone-baked pizza should taste.

We had duck with vegetables twice. Both sauces were absolutely delicious. The salad with avocado was also wonderfully seasoned, and the spring rolls and prawn crackers were tasty. My conclusion: very good food. I will definitely order again.

We tried ramen for the first time – and it was simply legendary. The sushi was also excellent. Highly recommended.

Last Friday, we visited the "Alter Fritz" wine bar quite spontaneously, with hungry stomachs, and I have to say we were absolutely thrilled! ☀️ Immediately after we entered, we were personally greeted by the owner, who immediately explained all the dishes and the wine bar to us in a very friendly and open manner. We had a fun, relaxed relationship with him throughout the entire evening, including the waiters, and it quickly became apparent that the family knows a lot about what they're doing :) Both dishes, freshly prepared, were delicious, and it was an all-around delightful evening. ☀️ I personally also think the fact that you can watch the "open kitchen" at work from your table is great, and it makes you feel more comfortable :) When we go back to the Obermain-Therme soon, we'll definitely stop by on the way there or back ☀️ If I had to find/pick out a small, constructive criticism, I would say that the apple strudel for dessert for €9.80 is a bit too small. But we were absolutely satisfied and are already looking forward to our next visit ☀️ Keep it up :) All 5* stars from us and greetings from Upper Palatinate.
