Delicious Bavarian restaurant with friendly staff

We enjoyed the food very much. We were served very friendly even though we hadn't made a reservation. Special requests for food were also taken into account.

We recommend calling ahead and making a reservation. We were lucky that we lived right next door when we were told that we should be here in 20 minutes otherwise they wouldn't have any tables left. The owner and the service were very friendly and the atmosphere was very cozy, a bit older but the food still tasted excellent! The prices are also totally humane. Really great! 😋👍🏽

Great owner-run restaurant with a terrace. The menu is extensive and seems a bit outdated, but that's exactly what gives it the flair. The owners are very nice, the food is freshly prepared and very tasty! Absolute recommendation

A somewhat outdated atmosphere, but this does not affect the quality of the food or the cleanliness. We had a very good meal here for a reasonable price. The landlord is attentive and friendly. Proof of the authenticity of this restaurant is the high frequency of locals. They probably deliberately don't rely on fake Bavarian folklore (in some places). The next appointment is booked.

Great hut to spend a night, but really very warm inside. We slept with the "front door" open because of the heat. We had a house with only a refrigerator, but room for 4 adults. There are also houses with a kitchenette. We would definitely use it again as an overnight stay. Cottages are clean. Toilets are reasonable to fine. Water in the shower is nice and hot.

We were passing through and it was just right for the moment. Good solid food. An “old style economy”. The landlord is attentive but not intrusive and doesn't make you feel rushed. The choice of food is plentiful and there is something for everyone. In general, the food is down-to-earth and okay for the price. It reminds us of the good old days when everything in the village was still in order. It's not a high class restaurant but a down-to-earth little inn and you feel comfortable there, even if the economy is a bit old. From my point of view, it's not bad... you can definitely recommend it if you know that you want to visit a hearty little restaurant. I can't understand the bad reviews. I think that some people probably expected a restaurant, but that can be ruled out given the name "Chiemsee Stuben". Someone who complains about the food and the price definitely fits in today but not in this inn. You can easily do without this type of person.

The products were frozen and, to put it carefully, the service needed a lot of improvement. The price was not appropriate for the service. Cheap isn't always good. Rather disappointing overall experience. How the good reviews came together , remains a mystery to me.

Unfortunately, the person responsible for the pizza didn't have the pizza oven up to operating temperature yet. In a friendly voice he said it wouldn't take long. My son and I decided to go to another restaurant.

Hier kan je lekker eten voor redelijke prijzen. Wel moest er eigenlijk gereserveerd worden, dit hadden wij niet gedaan maar er werd wel goed in geschoven zodat we toch kon eten . Ze waren erg vriendelijk

Das Steak war hervorragend super gebraten und super lecker. Auch die Pommes waren sehr lecker. Hat alles sehr gut geschmeckt.

Sehr lecker, frisch zubereitet und das ist auch zu schmecken. Besonders zu empfehlen ist das Knoblauchsteak,super abgeschmeckt und perfekt gebraten. Somit ein absolut passendes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis . Die Bierpreise sind leider heutzutage so üblich.

Sehr leckeres Cordonbleu gegessen mit knackigem Salat. Als Dessert einen prima Bailey's aus dem Waffelbecher bekommen. Erinnert an frühere Zeiten!! Gerne wieder, beim nächsten Kurzurlaub.

Leckeres Essen, ein bisschen klein drinnen aber auch gemütlicher Außenbereich. Netter Inhaber. Die Luft war leider etwas schlecht drinnen. Kann aber auch nur an dem Tag gewesen sein.

Freundlicher Wirt und schneller Service. Die Karte ist von der Zusammenstellung etwas abenteuerlich, aber es ist für jeden was dabei. Preis Leistung sehr unterschiedlich. Hatte selbst einen Balkanspieß (gibts nur auf Anfrage wegen der Zubereitungszeit) für 21€. Leider war der Spieß wohl frittiert oder leider todgebraten. Schade. Die anderen Gerichte der Familie waren gut und preislich völlig ok
