A very arrogant and condescending waiter. He made us feel unwelcome. And the food, in terms of quality, absolutely did not live up to the high price. A real shame!

My visit to this Italian restaurant was unfortunately disappointing. The service was quite arrogant. The appetizer, a rocket salad, was unfortunately too oily. The main course I chose, "Cappelletti with Truffle," tasted good, but for the price of €29, I would have expected more than three (3) cappelletti on the plate! At a restaurant in this price range, I expect a fair price-performance ratio. Overall, the experience fell short of my expectations.

Our visit to Alba Trattoria was a complete success. The food was simply outstanding. Every single dish was a delight. The ambiance is warm and inviting. The service was attentive, friendly, and very professional. A very special thank you goes to Piero, whose exceptional professionalism, warm personality, and impeccable service made the evening truly special. He is a real asset to the restaurant. Yesterday, the three of us went to Alba Trattoria for dinner with my mother-in-law, following her recommendation. Both the food and the ambiance were outstanding. We had vitello tonnato and roasted octopus with chanterelle mushrooms for starters. For main courses, we ordered veal liver and suckling veal fillet. All the dishes were excellent, and the wine pairing, guided by the waiter, complemented the menu perfectly. Our waiter was brilliant with his humor and attentiveness, so we were never left with empty glasses and the atmosphere was always relaxed. A definite heartfelt recommendation and a true insider tip for Munich. We'd gladly return!

What began as a spontaneous evening with my girlfriend turned into a little dream! We received a warm welcome and were immediately surprised with an appetizer that exceeded all my expectations. Top Italian restaurant in Bogenhausen. Excellent food and a harmonious atmosphere throughout. We always received excellent service. I'm very grateful that even the red wine by the glass is excellently selected. A pleasant evening with good food also requires a suitable atmosphere, and I really appreciate that the restaurant also cares about how you appear there. If you want a quick pizza or want to pay less, there are other suitable restaurants nearby.

The food is OK, the service could be better and comes across as rather arrogant. But I've experienced that a lot around the world. If you meet celebrities in various restaurants, you immediately associate that with good cuisine. If the restaurant owner then kisses up to the celebrities, the celebrities like that and suddenly a restaurant with average cuisine becomes a top restaurant. But just because it has celebrity guests means it's still far from being a top restaurant. I'm a regular guest at a restaurant with star cuisine. The owner of the Alba Trattoria should visit various restaurants of this class, then he will be able to see what his restaurant is lacking in class, particularly in the service.

We visited just before Christmas, and despite the restaurant being packed, the service was excellent. We were greeted with great friendliness and courtesy and shown to our reserved table. If you're looking for an upscale restaurant, this isn't the place for you. The food was tasteless, and the staff was unfortunately very unfriendly. Maybe I was just there on the wrong day, but in any case, I wouldn't recommend it.

A wonderful restaurant with exquisite cuisine and friendly, perfectly trained service. A sophisticated ambiance, rather than the "sneakers and trainers" flair of the "young scene" that is now so prevalent in restaurants. Vitello Tonnato is worth a visit. We look forward to our next visit!

A real top restaurant neither has arrogant service staff nor does it insist on designer clothing... by the way, the Munich Merkur also writes about this "noble Italian"... if you fly high, you can also fall low... so arrogant!

If you have a dress code, you should also point this out to guests on the website. And also before you invite the guests to the table. Having them order first and then pointing out the dress code is very unprofessional. Entitlement should prevail, otherwise it is pure arrogance.

Elegance meets top gastronomy. An Italian gem. A must for every connoisseur. And it is no coincidence that the Süddeutsche Zeitung writes: “The Trattoria Alba is a zone of absolute discretion. None of the many prominent regular guests are disturbed, which is also a secret of success.”

I came here with my work colleague to have lunch together. It's summer it's 30° hot. They are wearing shorts. The waiter sends us away and tells us that it is only for people of a certain level. But it goes... for a restaurant that looks like it's not even worth 5 cents. I wasn't there in my underwear but in branded summer shorts. Instead of looking at how people dress, learn to be human, we live on earth, not on the future planet. But in the end it's better this way. Places like this don't deserve our money.

The food was simply perfect and superbly prepared. Friendly staff will accompany you throughout the evening. There are some bushes outside that attract mosquitoes.

We were not served because of this - just drinking one wine is not possible - and sent away. A pity. Small change is no longer needed.

In addition to unfriendly, inattentive and arrogant service, which more or less ignored our table, we were informed about an alleged dress code. Short pants are therefore not desired, but short skirts are not a problem. But we were only given the hint after we had already ordered aperitivi. This information would have been desirable when the waiter placed it at the table.

Die Trattoria Alba. Italiener mit Promibonus ?! Der Empfang in dem angenehmen, aber verbesserungswürdigem Ambiente war eher kühl als herzlich. Vielleicht auch so von anderen Gästen gewünscht. Der Service war meiner Meinung nach leidenschaftslos. Weder ein "Prego" für freundliches Danke unsererseits, noch eine Nachfrage ob alles in Ordnung ist. Wird hier vielleicht voraus gesetzt. Die Vorspeisen waren sehr gut was uns Freude auf mehr machte. Leider wurden wir hier enttäuscht. Die Hauptgerichte waren fast geschmacklos. Der Fisch lag etwas über dem Garpunkt aber noch im Rahmen. Alles in allem wäre es ja ganz in Ordnung wenn der Preis dementsprechend wäre. Wir gehen gerne und oft zum Essen. Es gibt wesentlich bessere Restaurants zu diesem Preis. Wahrscheinlich eben doch mit Promizuschlag. Den vierten Stern gibt's eben auch nur deswegen. Hat eigentlich nur durchschnittliche 3 Sterne verdient.

Ich habe oft bei der Alba Trattoria online bestellt aber auch vor Ort gegessen, Klar ist vor Ort zu essen viel besser, da man dort sehr freundlich empfangen wird. Schöne Atmosphär und immer lecker. Alba Trattoria ist immer meine persönliche Empfehlung.

Ich bin oft hier beim essen. Ich empfehle es sehr gerne. Sehr gutes Essen und toller Service. Freundliche Kellner und direkter Kontakt mit dem Chef. Da fühlt man sich wohl.

Sehr schönes ital. Lokal. Freundlich, leckeres Essen. Für 3 Gänge (Antipasti, Primo und Secondo) sind die Portionen etwas zu groß. Aber dafür gibt's ja das Menü (ca. €80+). Preislich im oberen Münchner Rahmen.

Der Service war wirklich sehr aufmerksam und aufgeschlossen. Das Gemüse war auf den Punkt gegart. Besser geht es nicht. Alba Trattoria kann sich zurecht als gehobene italienische Küche bezeichnen. Gerne wieder!

Sehr gutes italienisches Restaurant der gehobenen Extraklasse. - Leider habe ich keine Bilder gemacht ( erschien mir irgendwie unangebracht ) Aber… Tolles Personal! Sehr freundlich, zuvorkommend und mit kompetenter Beratung, was die Weinauswahl zu den Speisen betrifft. Die Speisekarte ist schon recht erlesen und nicht überfrachtet… dennoch ist eigentlich für jeden etwas dabei. Die Speisen sind mit Liebe arrangiert und sehr lecker. Man bekommt auch immer mal etwas kleines ( einen Gruß aus der Küche )zwischendurch - klasse! Wer hier sowas wie Pizza oder Standard Kost sucht ist wohl nicht an der richtigen Adresse. Wer aber mal eine andere mediterrane Küche ausprobieren möchte - volle Empfehlung. Ich hatte Spass in der familiären Atmosphäre, bin satt geworden und den etwas höheren Preis, der m.E. angemessen ist, bezahle ich sehr gerne. Wir wurden sehr freundlich Empfangen und zu unserem Tisch gebracht, die Bedienungen waren alle sehr freundlich, die Getränke und das Essen richtig fein und ein Ambiente zum Wohlfühlen!

Fantastic authentic italian food and host!

Gehobene Italienische Küche, Service sehr gut. Geschmacklich sehr gut, aber bei den Preisen ist das Verhältnis zur Menge leider wie Sterne Gastronomie. 5 Ravioli als Hauptgericht bei einem Preis über 20 EUR ist obwohl geschmacklich gut nicht in Ordnung. Wer Hunger hat sollte wo anders hin gehen, wer eher Genießer ist und das Geld hat ist hier sicher richtig.

Wir waren jetzt schon zweimal mit der ganzen Familie, in der trattoria Alba . Von dem Gruß aus der Küche bis zum Dessert alles perfekt und ausgezeichnete in Geschmack und presentazione auf den Tellern danke Stefano Sola und sein Chef in der Küche. Die Qualität der frischen Produkte schmeckt man sofort. Die Kellner sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Weiter so tolles Team
