Clearly my favorite Italian restaurant in this part of AB, and I highly recommend it for delivery (with my own car). Don't misunderstand the prices – this isn't just any takeaway that throws together 120 "different" pizzas and heats them up, but a full-fledged Italian restaurant that, in addition to authentic Italian pizza, also offers a full range of other dishes. Definitely give it a try; I've never been disappointed here.
🤔 Actually - 5 ⭐ Disappointed several times. Opening hours are a joke. Wednesday 5:35 p.m., you're hungry and looking forward to a delicious pizza.
But what's the matter? 🤔It's closed, not the first time the trip was in vain. What's the point of opening hours if they're not kept or you don't feel like opening?
We discovered the Cortina restaurant during our long weekend and immediately fell in love with it. Not only is the food amazing (we weren't overwhelmed by a huge menu, so the quality remains high), but also the ambiance and service. The staff were super friendly; we highly recommend the restaurant and definitely want to go back.
Very friendly and reasonably priced restaurant. I had a very large wild boar burger with fries and salad. Very good. If you leave hungry, it's your own fault.
Very poor service. We wanted to get a takeaway pizza shortly after the store opened at 6 p.m. and were turned away with a few snippy comments. They said we wouldn't have a pizza to pick up for at least two hours, as the store was currently very busy (4 tables occupied).
Unfortunately, we had to leave without a pizza.
Edit after reply:
Unfortunately, there was never any mention of phone orders and the one-hour pickup time; we would have even accepted that. It's more about the unfriendly way we were treated.
The kebab was decent. The bread was something different, and the garlic sauce had a strong garlicky taste. The salad was fresh, and the meat was decent but nothing special.
Today we were with the gourmet block at Mykonos in Kempten.
We were guests a year ago, which was rather mediocre, and we wanted to give it another chance.
Furnishings are chic and decorated accordingly. Very nice to look at.
The service was nice but not very engaging.
As a welcome we were given an ouzo.
The negative evening started with the menu being served. This was cracked and about to fall apart.
We don't understand why something like this isn't exchanged.
Unfortunately, more than half of the dishes on offer were not available because the ingredients such as gyros, minced meat, lamb or liver (one of the two in any case) etc. were missing. It's not a problem if something goes out, but if half the menu isn't available, it's sad.
There was only tomato rice as a side dish, as everything else like fries, fried potatoes, etc. were also not in stock.
We were only informed of this at the table after we had ordered our drinks, probably to avoid having to leave the restaurant again.
Likewise, when we made our reservation by phone, we were not informed that half of the menu was not available.
Other guests were also more disappointed than happy about it.
Too bad.
After we found something we got the starter salad. A slice of tomato, half a slice of cucumber and half a handful of iceberg lettuce with ready-made dressing. Oh well.
The garlic bread, on the other hand, was very tasty, the feta was ok.
For the main course we had souvlaki with rice, fries (which were not available) and tzatziki, as well as pork fillet on a skewer with fried potatoes that were not available (but the tomato rice).
Both tasted ok though. Not earth-shattering but not bad either.
All in all we were very disappointed and probably won't come back again.
