Wenn man gut zu einem fairen Preis essen möchte, dann geht man zum Kirchenwirt in Mering. Es gibt immer wieder neue Saisongerichte auf die man sich freuen kann. Ich kann jedem einen Besuch empfehlen.

Das Essen war einfach spitze! Der Koch hat mich zwei fantastische Gerichte genießen lassen, BRAVO BRAVO BRAVO!

They couldn't keep up with the drinks. Unfortunately, not everyone received their food at the same time. There was also no cutlery on the table. The food itself, however, was very good.

We met friends there at the beginning of the new year. We had reserved a table in advance. We were warmly welcomed and shown to our table. The very friendly server took our orders and always asked if we needed anything else. We all ordered different dishes, which were served almost simultaneously. The food was excellent and beautifully presented. We would gladly return.

Ein kleines, aber gemütliches Lokal. Ideal für eine schnelle Mahlzeit. Die Bedienung ist aufmerksam und zuvorkommend. Das Essen ist lecker. Ein Besuch lohnt sich.

The food was a clear 10/10. We had the duck and the fish duo – both incredibly delicious, especially the sauces. The small salad that came with it was also perfectly balanced. The atmosphere was quiet, cozy, and simply pleasant. The service was consistently attentive, friendly, and professional. Highly recommended – we'll definitely be back!

Update November 14, 2025 Even after so many years, we still enjoy going to Riva regularly. They're always coming up with something new. In addition to the standard menu, they now also have a weekly menu with really cool, varied, and even unusual dishes. They're always evolving. We appreciate the friendly service, the attentive staff, and of course, the food. Small events, like Ladies' Night, also make the restaurant special. Here's a glimpse of the dishes on the weekly menu—pictures speak louder than words. Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We love eating at Riva and do it often. For us, the restaurant definitely deserves more than 5 stars. You consistently get good food, from salads and pizzas to burgers and desserts. My favorites are the burger and the vitello tonnato pizza. But it's not just the food that's fantastic; the staff is always friendly and eager to fulfill every guest's wishes. The owner(s) are always cheerful, friendly, and welcoming, and every guest is important to them. They all pitch in, whether serving, working in the kitchen, or behind the bar. At Riva, everyone works together, and you can feel it in the service. In the summer, the terrace is perfect for relaxing evenings. We love coming here and will definitely continue to dine at Riva. Whether it's just the two of us or with friends, it's simply worth it.
