Restaurant BachLiesl in Bad Füssing

Two of us went to lunch today. We had char with vegetables and potatoes, two different fish fillets, and potato salad with cucumber. Everything was excellently prepared and beautifully presented. We can only praise the chef, as well as the friendly service.

We felt very welcome and comfortable. The food was delicious and freshly prepared. The value for money is excellent.

Everything was perfect! For starters, at Bachl Liesl, we each had a very good Bavarian Forest beef tartare* – freshly ground and seasoned with spices – with shaved Parmesan, onions, and leaf lettuce, served with toast and chive butter. My wife enjoyed the "Wiener Zwiebelrostbraten": medium-rare rump steak with a hearty gravy, homemade fried onions, and crispy French fries. And I enjoyed a delicious grilled zander fillet on fried, fresh herb-infused chanterelle mushrooms, served with our homemade orange-spiced butter and boiled potatoes. To finish, as always, we had a delicious espresso. We can highly recommend this restaurant to everyone: excellent drinks, a good selection of wines, good food, and excellent service.

During our stays in Bad Füssing, we like to eat at the Bachliesel. The Bachliesel offers excellent quality food and very fast and attentive service. We recently had fried zander fillet with chanterelle mushrooms and steamed potatoes, and my husband always orders Kaiserschmarrn. The Kaiserschmarrn always takes a long time to arrive at other restaurants, but at the Bachliesel, it was very quick. We love sitting on the terrace right by the stream. The Bachliesel also offers online reservations.

Very nice and well-kept restaurant with delicious food and pleasant service. Spare ribs on Fridays... Highly recommended! Please remember to pre-order, though. We felt very comfortable with you again today! Thank you for everything, and we'll be happy to come back!

Wir waren am 12.06.25 (mein Geburtstag) zum Mittagessen da und haben frischen Spargel mit Wels, Kartoffeln und Soße Hollandaise gegessen. Alles war perfekt, hat vorzüglich geschmeckt. Service, Preis-/Leistung stimmen. Hatten einen Tisch im Außenbereich (sehr angenehm) reserviert. Gerne kommen wir wieder zum Essen.

A very good restaurant, but I was really impressed with the dish I had, and the local mushrooms were wonderful, just as the alcoholic beer was delicious. We were there at short notice for Father's Day. The food was delicious and the prices were reasonable. It was great that the kids' food came first, along with the appetizers. I can definitely recommend it.

Immer wieder ein Erlebnis! Sehr schmackhaftes traditionelles Essen, gute Auswahl an Getränken und ein sehr aufmerksamer und freundlicher Service. Das Restaurant besitzt eine überdachte Aussenterrasse, man sitzt hier sehr romantisch an einem Bachlauf. Ein Besuch dieses Restaurants ist für uns bei jedem Aufenthalt in Bad Füssing Pflich!

Super lekkere Ribs! Daarom komen we elkaar jaar weer terug. Sowieso ook goed en vriendelijke bediening! De ribs hebben ze vrijdags op het menu. Voor bestellen aan te raden. Zijn zo uitverkocht.

Our first visit to the Bachliesel restaurant, and we were thrilled. The best asparagus cream soup ever. The main courses were also excellent.

Nach Reservierung gab es zunächst keinen Tisch, da das Restaurant voll war. Trotzdem machte man es möglich, die Reservierung umzusetzen. Bedienung und Essen sehr gut.

A wonderful address to eat in the BachLiesl. We were on the beautiful terrace with 8 men and women and everyone was thrilled, every single dish was excellently prepared for the body and soul. Orders were taken quickly by the lovely, attentive service and served just as well. A highly recommended restaurant. 5 stars!

Very good food, nice service and no long waiting times for food. We recommend the restaurant and will be happy to come back. An indication that the spare ribs should be pre-ordered would have been desirable. Nevertheless everything was perfect.

Food was completely flawless. There are no objections to the service either. You just have to take into account that the average age of the guests is 50+. But that wasn't a problem for us, hence 5 stars.

We were thrilled with the super good cuisine! The dry aged rump steak and the pork neck steak on October 12th. and the second time on October 16th. the char fillet and the lumberjack steak, everything was simply great!! We also knew the old Schillerhof with its good cuisine and large pieces of cake. The collection of old police hats and the beautiful coffee grinders were also nice.

Great restaurant, the food was great. (trout with garlic) But the daily special of roast roast was overcooked and the crust was just a little bit thin. The dumpling duet is both very hard. The Bavarian cabbage in a lot of bechamel and without any taste. You can definitely do better than that.
