Hello everyone, I would like to tell you about my last visit to BachLiesl. There were two of us, we had reserved in advance and were allowed to choose whether we wanted to sit inside or outside. The reception was very friendly, the restaurant is nice and modern. The cutlery and glasses are very clean. The service was fast despite the location being full, but at the same time we waited a long time to be able to order more after the first drinks were empty. The food took a while to arrive - probably due to the many guests. The meat here was really very good, but the side dish was only lukewarm. Feedback on this was gratefully received. The toilets were clean and tidy. I hope you enjoy your meal when you stop by BachLiesl and I will come back again myself.

I fully share the positive impressions of the other reviewers. However, I have absolutely no understanding for the 1-star reviews, especially for those who were very satisfied for “years” and then once it wasn’t right. Too expensive? In Germany there are only very few regions where drinks and food are cheaper. I can unreservedly recommend the good home-style dishes on the changing daily menu to anyone who, after studying the menu, gets stuck on “Wiener Schnitzel” or “Burger” in many restaurants. We have now reserved for the third time in a row (reservation recommended) and are looking forward to coming back.

Dinner couldn't be better. Such excellent cuisine with perfect service doesn't come around often anymore.

Today we were at BachLiesel for the first time. A great location. The food tasted fantastic, the staff was very friendly and always there quickly. So everything is great. Now comes a small note. The disabled toilet has a wheelchair-accessible entrance, but unfortunately the toilet is too low, which can no longer be changed (or only with a lot of effort). But you could possibly install folding handles on the sides or on one side. There's no complaining... We were very satisfied and have reserved again for tomorrow.

We have been in Bad Füssing for 8-9 weeks a year in recent years. My wife and I have always loved the restaurant. But in April we unfortunately realized that it was almost all about crowds and the quality of the food had decreased somewhat. We were there again on Monday and had pre-ordered liver. Unfortunately, my wife's garlic soup was only lukewarm. I was only halfway through my dumpling soup when the waiter simply placed the liver at the table. The liver was pale and hard, as were the warmed onions. We had never been so disappointed with this restaurant and ate elsewhere on the other days. But we'll be back here in October and want to try again. KRE

First of all, I can only shake my head at some of the bad reviews here. If you click on an e.g. Trout wait 30 minutes, this is a sign that something is being prepared freshly. Unfortunately, we were only here twice on a short vacation but were 100% satisfied each time. The food was very tasty and served hot. The meat from the grill plate is fried to perfection. The char and also the fish duet are tender and tasty. I like the idea of ​​the salad bar and the selection is very good. The service was friendly and courteous despite the stress. The price-performance ratio is right. If we travel to Bad Füssingen again we will definitely stop here again. Keep it up.

Reserved a table for 2 people via email - it worked very well. The restaurant does not have sufficient parking spaces. Very problematic during the week; On weekends the nearby Netto-Markt car park is suitable. After entering the restaurant you should be picked up and shown to the table. So far so good! This already took 10 minutes! Orders were taken quickly and drinks were served quickly. Then another fiasco: While guests who arrived later were already served their food, we had to wait over 30 minutes for our brown trout!!! The trout were absolutely fresh and not objectionable; Unfortunately, the garlic pesto we ordered was served on the outside. We would have liked to have put the pesto (unfortunately a bit tight) in the fish so that the taste of the fish would have a better effect on the palate. In summary, no recommendation! REDUCTION to max. 1 star due to the owner's answer!!!

Also wir können uns diesen ganzen positiven Bewertungen nicht anschließen. Wir waren am Montag den 20.05.24 beim „Haxentag“ in diesem Lokal. Meine Frau und ich bestellten Haxen da wir annahmen das beim Haxentag die auch frisch sind. Leider wurden wir sehr enttäuscht! Die Haxen waren aufgewärmt und auch nicht Soße eine dicke Pampe und Kraut ungenießbar. Schlechter geht es nicht. Die nachbestellte Soße wurde einfach ignoriert. Der Grillteller und das panierte Schnitzel waren ok. Den Tisch den ich für Freitag reserviert hatte habe ich gleich wieder storniert.

The restaurant was well attended. We didn't like the long wait in the entrance area without a friendly "Hello". It's tight there and a...now I have to see where I can sit you...(despite a reservation) doesn't feel good. Drinks came quickly and the order was taken straight away. Then the waiting began... Without any indication that it would take longer, the hunger grew more and more and the anticipation of a good meal was gone after an hour.

Hier wurden wir vom Essen sehr enttäuscht. Wir waren am 28.5. 24 zum Essen dort. Immer wenn wir in BF waren haben wir mehrmals dort gegessen. Ach schon früher im Schillerhof. Waren eigentlich immer zufrieden, was wir auch mit sehr vielen Besuchen zum Ausdruck brachten. Aber diesmal hatten wir 2x Rumpsteak das Tagesgericht zu 23,20 € bestellet. Eins war i. O. das zweite war nicht richt geschnitten, eine Seite ca. 2/3 war normal, 1/3 war super dünn, daher auch super har5 und zäh. Ich bat die Bedienung der Küche Bescheid zu sagen. Hat sie, nach eigener Aussage auch getan. Aus der Küche kam keine Antwort, keine Entschuldigung. Mir war es peinlich, den Chef zu sprechen. Das hätte die Küche machen müssen. Das kann nicht meine Aufgabe sein, den entsprechenden Ansprechpartner zu suchen. Nach so langer Zeit und die vielen Besuche, komme ich zu den Schluss, dort nie wieder zu essen.

Garlic cream soup was very tasty. Lumberjack cordon bleu and rib eye steak were also good. Unfortunately, changing the steak order from baked potatoes to fried potatoes costs an extra charge.

Ein von außen eher unscheinbares Restaurant, das jedoch innen großzügig und modern wirkt. Eine sehr freundliche Bedienung geleitete uns zum Tisch. Getränke kamen schnell, jedoch beim Essen benötigt man etwas Geduld. Dann jedoch ist man kulinarisch auf einem sehr hohen Niveau. Ich hatte am ersten Tag Wiener Schnitzel mit Pommes, am zweiten Tag eine „Wiener Leber“. Das Schnitzel war auf dem Punkt - perfekt saftig - keine Spur trocken und die Pommes war exzellent und super knusprig. Auch die Leber war von hoher Qualität und perfekt zubereitet. Klasse Essen! Den etwas rustikalen Stil der Bedienung muss man mögen - aber wie sagt der Franke „passt scho“.

We were pleasantly surprised at first and received a friendly welcome. The food was very tasty, I can really recommend it. What was a shame was unfortunately due to the service, all the tables around us were asked if they could have anything else. We were cleared away without any comment as to whether it was tasty or whether we would like anything else. After a long wait I ordered two more espressos, apparently the lady misunderstood me and brought two specials. I told her that I didn't order that, but espresso She then quickly took it back with her. Another person then brought us the espresso. Our impression is that motorcyclists are not really welcome, which we find very unfortunate.

Food was good, but the waiting time was over an hour. Everything is pretty expensive. If you get a salad from the buffet you pay €5.50. We won't be visiting the restaurant again.

Update 04/2024 We ate there twice again this holiday. As in my review a year ago, nothing has changed. The food, the ambience, the service, everything was excellent. We will always stop there when we are in Bad Füssing. Thanks to a Bad Füssing Facebook group, we became aware of this restaurant. We have been vacationing here at least twice a year since 2009 and have never been there before! 🙈. The restaurant rightly received its 5* rating. We went there for the first time today without a reservation. Very nice service, who immediately offered us a table in the newly designed next room. The atmosphere was really very nice. The food was excellent. Very good quality meat, vegetables and salad crisp and fresh. We give it 5*+ We will definitely come back on our next vacation.

Not enough parking spaces. Parking is strictly prohibited in the walking area. Unfortunately we had to cancel our reservation due to a lack of parking space.

It was our first time here and certainly not the last time. Very nicely decorated restaurant, friendly service, extensive menu with themed days. Without prior reservation it is difficult to get a place. That speaks for the quality of this restaurant. The salad buffet is fresh, the food is delicious, so it's a pleasure all round. The small portion of baked mushrooms is a delicious appetizer for two people. We are already looking forward to our next visit. Addendum: The next time was today and we had an excellent meal again. It was trout day and the Müllerin trout was very fresh and excellently fried and seasoned. The restaurant filled up quickly, but we had reserved. My husband ate the onion roast again, by far the best in the Bad Füssing area. Now our vacation is coming to an end and we are already looking forward to our next visit to Bad Füssing and the delicious food at BachLiesl.

There is a clear 5 star plus rating for the BachLiesl! Dinner and ambience were wonderful. A little tip: you should always reserve the seats you need in advance in the evening.

Wir wussten, dass man ohne Reservierung zur "Stoßzeit" abends gegen 19 Uhr keine 2 Plätze bekommen würden. Wir waren so frech und haben gebettelt, weil wir gut essen wollten. Personal hervorragend höflich und bemüht. Wir bekamen auf Bitten am Stammtisch die letzten 2 freien Plätze, dort waren bereits 2 "fremde Paare", also auch keine Stammgäste. Nach dem "Anwärmen" mit den "Fremden" hatten wir einen ganz netten Abend mit ausgezeichnetem Essen. Auch unsere "Fremden" am Tisch lobten Ihr Essen. Unser erster Besuch in der Bachliesl vor längerer Zeit hatte uns leider nicht begeistert (Einheitssoße), aber unsere letzten Besuche waren dann wirklich essenstechnisch und geschmacklich sehr sehr positiv. D.h.: Essen hervorragend, genau so wie der Service und das extrem nette Personal, wenn man die niederbayrische Art kennt und schätzt. Preislich völlig i.O., Leistung und Qualität gibt es nicht geschenkt. Wir kommen bestimmt immer wieder und sagen danke für eines der besten Restaurants in Füssing! Macht weiter so, bitte!!!

The price looks very appealing at first. However, if you looked more closely, you could see that very few dishes included a salad. And then the price went to a completely different region, which you no longer find so positive. Clever but not fair! The portion sizes more than enough. The restaurant's interior is ambivalent. It's harmonious in itself, but on the other hand it's a bit too sterile. We weren't quite sure how to rate it here. The service was initially very nice, but could have been more attentive. The ladies' conversations towards the end were unnecessarily loud and did nothing to increase their attention. We will test it again next time.

Wir gehen sehr gerne dort essen weil es super schmeckt, die Bedienung sehr freundlich ist und das Ambiente stimmt. Heute habe ich mich aber geärgert. Ich hatte ein Gericht mit Gemüse und einen Salat vom Buffet. Da ich nicht mag wenn man den Salatteller so voll macht dass er überläuft bin ich lieber zwei mal ans Buffet und habe mir zwei mal nur wenig genommen. Bei der Rechnung musste ich feststellen dass mir zweimal 5.50 für den Salat berechnet wurde nur weil ich zweimal gegangen bin. Finde das nicht in Ordnung zumal die anderen Gäste sich für 5,50 den Teller zum überlaufen voll gemacht haben und das für 5,50 . Wenn steht 5,50 für Salat vom Buffet dann sollte auch nur 5,50 berechnet werden und nicht 11 EURO weil man lieber nacheinander etwas holen möchte. Bin sehr enttäuscht und werde dort keinen Salat mehr bestellen.

One of our favorite restaurants in Bad Füssing. Prices have unfortunately risen sharply, but still recommended. The daily specials are particularly good. This time the rabbit and roast duck were unfortunately not seasoned enough and not tender enough. The Gordon Bleu and the Kaiserschmarren were great. The latter is conveniently available as a main course or dessert.

Super Lokal, es gibt keine Kritikpunkte, Essen super gut, Salatbuffet 5 Sterne. Nur mit Reservierung ist ein Besuch möglich. Tolle gemütliche Einrichtung. Parkplätze sind jedoch Mangelware, man wird hier sofort abgeschleppt, wenn man nicht korrekt parkt. Vorsicht sonst wird das Essen überteuert! Sehr zum empfehlen! Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Wir kommen jetzt schon seit dem ersten Jahr der Eröffnung hierher und wurden nie enttäuscht. Das Essen war jedes Mal hervorragend, die Bedienungen hilfsbereit um man fühlt sich rund um sehr wohl. Vor jedem Urlaub reservieren wir daher schon unseren Tisch. Als ein Kinderstuhl eigentlich nicht mehr zur Verfügung stand wurden einfach neue gekauft. Das ist Service den man einfach schätzen muss. Leider meckern viele einfach darauf los und alles andere ist selbstverständlich, so sollte man aber doch auch das Gesamtpaket betrachten und die Mühen welche hier investiert werden. Auch als etwas "schief" gelaufen ist, hat man sich entsprechend angemessen entschuldigt. Wir können hier nichts negatives bewerten und können die negativen Meldungen nicht nachvollziehen. Wir freuen uns schon sehr auf unseren nächsten Besuch.

Leider muss ich meine Bewertung nach meinem letzte Besuch am Donnerstag 30.11.2023 ändern. Es war leider eine Katastrophe für mich und meine Freundin. Bedienung und nicht nur eins sondern beide haben uns ganze Abend ignoriert und dazu diese Höflichkeit was dazu gehört hat total gefehlt. Nach 45 min und nur wenn wir gebeten haben wurde das Tisch frei gemacht und nur wenn wir aufgestanden sind haben wir unsere Getränke bekommen ( wir waren trotzdem nett und informierte das das die 2 Bedienung das sie eine Getränk vergessen haben auf dem Rechnung zu stellen) . Sehr schlimm und auch alle andere Tische haben von Haus einen kleinen Getränk am Schluss bekommen und uns es würde nicht mal gefragt ob wir eine haben möchten und wir würden nichtmal begrüßt wenn wir aufgestanden sind. Und natürlich meine Reservierung vergessen. Wir kommen so schnell nicht mehr vorbei.Nur 1 Stern von uns.

Hier haben wir gut gegessen und sind freundlich bedient worden. Die Gerichte hätten ggf. etwas mehr Deko verdient. Sehr gemütliche Bestuhlung. Allerdings ist es meistens voll und dann sehr laut. Viel Geduld sollte man auch mitbringen und auf jeden Fall vorher reservieren.

Egal ob der Zwiebelrostbraten oder das Rib-Eye, das Essen war wirklich hervorragend und das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis absolut in Ordnung. Leider war die Wartezeit auf Getränke und das Essen wirklich sehr lang, aber aufgrund Personalmangels kann man das akzeptieren und deshalb trotzdem 5 Sterne.
