Ich kann nur den Schnitzeltag bewerten , das Essen kam schnell, das Fleisch wunderbar zart mit goldbrauner Panade . 2 Schnitzel mit Pommes für 14,99 € Superpreis am Mittwoch.

Die schlechtesten Hamburger die wir je gegessen haben. Haben vielleicht Mal neben Hamburger gelegen.

Leckeres Essen, freundliche Bedienungen. Leider fehlt beidem ein bisschen, um wirklich exzellent zu sein, aber das ist Jammern auf hohem Niveau. Wer solides Essen zu normalen Preisen möchte, ist hier gut beraten.

Waren heute zum Abendessen dort. Mega freundliche Bedienung . Hatten Spargelcremesuppe war super gemacht. Die Haxe war riesig und geschmacklich nur zu empfehlen. Die Gretlpfanne auch sehr lecker. Natürlich gibt es Leute die sich an manchem Preis stören, aber Qualität hat halt ihren Preis. Kann das Lokal nur Empfehlen.

Wir haben schon mehrmals in dem schönen Restaurant gegessen. Ich habe den Schweizer Topf bestellt. Das Essen war mega lecker. Der Service ist erstklassig.

Hier kann man sehr gut Speisen. Heute war "Schnitzel-Tag", mit viel Auswahl. Das Schnitzl mit kleinem Salat war ein Gedicht. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und flott unterwegs. ......wir kommen wieder.🤗

Schönes, gemütliches Restaurant. Waren an 2 Abenden unseres Urlaubes dort und wurden dort toll empfangen. Das Essen wirklich sehr lecker, toller Service. Bei unserem nächsten Urlaub werden wir dort auf jeden Fall wieder essen.

ich hab ein neues Lieblingsrestaurant! Wow es war von vorne bis hinten einfach nur meeeeega lecker. Die französische Zwiebelsuppe war schon fast mein Highlight. Meine Rinderbäckchen waren so zart, dass das Messer eigentlich nur Deko war und der Crepe war der perfekte Abschluss. Das Restaurant ist sooo schön eingerichtet und auch die Servicekraft war super lieb. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und ich war seltens so glücklich nach einem Restaurantbesuch, danke!

Sehr nettes Speiselokal haben es an einen Mittwoch besucht Schnitzeltag 14,99€ sehr lecker kommen bestimmt wieder.

Wir waren recht spontan im "Restaurant Hänsel und Gretel" und waren sehr zufrieden! Jeder Gang war schön angerichtet und hat uns sehr gut geschmeckt. Der Wirt war sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Wenn wir wieder mal in Bad Füssing sind, werden wir das Restaurant sehr gerne wieder besuchen.

Wir sind heute durch Zufall hier gelandet und waren absolut positiv überrascht! Sehr kleines Restaurant, aufmerksamer Service, richtig gutes Essen für einen guten Preis. Es muss sich auch für den Wirt rechnen. Hatten Vorspeise (Forellen Tartar) und Hauptgang (Schweinefilet). Portionsgrößen mehr als genug. Wir kommen gerne wieder. Für mich ist das Restaurant Hänsel und Gretel eine richtig gemütliche Adresse mit viel Charme. Schon beim Reinkommen fühlt man sich willkommen freundlich, warm und angenehm entspannt. Der Service war aufmerksam, herzlich und sehr unkompliziert. Man merkt, dass hier Gastfreundschaft großgeschrieben wird. Die Speisen waren frisch zubereitet, geschmackvoll und schön angerichtet – ehrliche Küche, die einfach gut tut. Auch das Ambiente hat mir besonders gefallen: gemütlich, einladend und ideal für ein entspanntes Essen zu zweit oder mit Freunden. Für mich definitiv eine Empfehlung ich komme gerne wieder.

Essen sehr gut, aber preislich schon sehr hoch angesetzt, 6 Garnelen 19€ schon bisschen unverschämt aber gut. Das Restaurant verfügt über zwei Räume, beim Eingang direkt sind Tische verfügbar, aber dort sitzt man Tisch an Tisch, man könnte von dem Nachbar sein Teller essen. Dann gibt es noch einen hinteren Bereich, der ist mit nicht soviel Liebe eingerichtet, aber es ist ok. Bei den Getränken ist noch sehr viel Luft nach oben, wir hatten einen Hugo, ich stell ein Bild rein dann könnt ihr euch selber ein Bild machen, sowie er aussah hat er auch geschmeckt, nicht gut.

Meine Frau war an der Eingangstür gestanden und ich habe gerade unser Auto geparkt. Als wir in das Lokal gehen wollten kam ein Mann und eine Frau raus, sperrten die Tür ab und ließen uns Wortlos stehen obwohl unsere Absicht ins Lokal zu gehen erkannt werden musste. Sonntag um 13:45. Öffnungszeiten Sonntags bis 14:00.

Ein angenehmer Ort, der sich für eine Gruppe von mehreren Personen eignet, nettes und hilfsbereites Personal und sehr gute Küche.

Wir waren heute Mittag zu zweit hier essen - das Essen war super lecker und preislich absolut fair! Wir hatten einen Tisch im Voraus reserviert. An diesem Tag mittags um 12 hätten wir es nicht zwingend gebraucht, aber das liegt sicherlich an der Jahreszeit. Dementsprechend gab es Anfang Januar zum Saisonende auch noch reichlich Parkplätze :) Beim nächsten Besuch werden wir gerne wieder vorbei schauen! Den Wildschweinrollbraten kann ich schon mal empfehlen 😁

Schönes, kleines Restaurant. Wir haben ohne Reservierung einen schönen Tisch bekommen. Freundliche Bedienung. Die Fischfilets waren gut gegart und noch schön saftig. Im Schweizer Topf das Fleisch auch sehr gut.

The food was good, changes were no problem, and the service was also good. Unfortunately, there was quite a draft in the dining room. The owner was very friendly, but his wife seemed rather dissatisfied and quite cold.

Excellent, fast service, a nice story behind the restaurant's name. Good menu selection with reasonable prices, and the quality is great. I highly recommend the onion roast beef. The curried pumpkin soup is a bit too salty. I would come again.

In short: Everything was great, as always. A big compliment to the kitchen and service. We'll definitely be back.

I was actually looking forward to the schnitzel evening, but was deeply disappointed by the food. The unbreaded pepper cream schnitzel served was more like two slices of sausage smothered in watery sauce. It had nothing in common with schnitzel and cream sauce. It was a real snack, what a shame!

Everything was truly top-notch. The stars are truly deserved. The menu is limited, but everything was top-notch, absolutely top-notch. The price included four drinks.

I had bread dumplings with mushrooms. Unfortunately, the dumplings were from a package, and the mushrooms weren't fresh either. But the apple fritters with vanilla ice cream were a dream.

Maybe we just had a bad day... We were here on schnitzel day. The waitresses seemed completely stressed, shouting instructions across the dining room. We finished everything within thirty minutes. It didn't create a vacation feeling, more like a train station. The food was carried outside on a large board, Oktoberfest-style, and then the plates were brought back inside to the table one by one. It didn't invite anyone to linger.

Very good, home-style cooking. Lovely terrace with friendly service. A good atmosphere, and sometimes there's music. It was close to the hotel and very convenient for me. Wednesday was schnitzel day. Reservations are recommended. The atmosphere was very inviting! I was delighted.

Although we often visit Bad Füssing, we only discovered Hänsel & Gretel this time. I highly recommend it. Delicious food; I tried several dishes. Everything was excellent. Friendly and fast service. Nice terrace. Addendum: The 5-star rating refers to a normal day with a normal menu. A visit on schnitzel day is probably not worth it.

We visited twice during our vacation, once on schnitzel day, which is always on Wednesdays. The home-style food is truly delicious and served super quickly. The prices are absolutely fair and justified. The service sometimes seems a little cold, but is still super friendly. They're happy to accommodate special requests, too—great, thank you!

On schnitzel night, there's only schnitzel. We were concerned that it might take a while because everything was full. But everything went really quickly... and it was simply delicious and plentiful. We'd be happy to go again....

We were there for lunch last Sunday, I had beef cheeks, it was extremely tender, we had never eaten the meat so deliciously, my husband had a deposit. Service was also really friendly. We drove here especially from Vilsbiburg. We are already looking forward to next time. 😌

Small but nice and really tasty

We ate there at the end of March 2025. I was looking forward to a fish dish. Unfortunately the fish was full of bones. When I asked how the food tasted, I pointed it out to the waitress. The only answer he got was a succinct “there’s no other way” and he immediately left. What a shame!

I didn't really like the restaurant, mainly because of the quality of the food. The special duck was very tough, as if it had not been cooked thoroughly. All food is too salty. The beer isn't great either. Good and fast service. There is nowhere to hang outerwear in the restaurant; jackets are lying on the benches.

We were in Bad Füssing for 3 evenings, ended up at Hänsel and Gretel's on the first evening - and were there again the two evenings afterwards :-) Even though we hadn't made a reservation, there was always a place for us. The atmosphere is very cozy, Susanne and Luca are very nice and attentive - and Eugen's cooking skills are simply fantastic. No matter whether it's caraway roast, cheese spaetzle or a mixed salad with goat cheese, everything is presented in a very visually appealing way and tastes simply great. We'll come back when we're in Bad Füssing - promise!

We have a great tip for you: Hansel and Gretel! A super nice couple runs this business. The food there is simply fantastic, especially the ox cheeks and the caraway roast are an absolute delight.

I had dinner with my family on December 26th, 2024. The reception was very friendly. The selection of dishes is large and the food tastes very good. Someone knows their craft of cooking. Respect. We'll definitely be back.
