Our regular home for 3 generations for 51(!) years. And we are always welcome again. Leader ab jetzt nur Getränke.

Very nice hosts, nice rooms and delicious breakfast!

Good opportunity to stop off while hiking with a great view of Pottenstein. On Sundays and public holidays there are homemade cakes, coffee and cold drinks.

Were there yesterday at 12:30 p.m. Since there are no opening times on any of the signs, I decided to take a long detour full of anticipation. Then the big disappointment!! Closed. When I asked the owner, I got a cheeky, stupid answer: "It's lunch break"!! Thank you for nothing!!

The whole thing is more of a clubhouse than a restaurant and, above all, a Greek restaurant; there are hardly any German dishes on the menu. And in the cold season, when the beer garden is closed, the Greek menu is also significantly reduced to three dishes of medium quality.

I was there for lunch today and was able to enjoy the pike perch on a bed of vegetables with lemon cream sauce and rosemary potatoes. The dish was absolutely delicious and left nothing to be desired in terms of taste. 👍👍👍 The country inn was a coincidental stroke of luck, but we will visit it again on our next trip to Franconian Switzerland and definitely recommend it to others. ☺️

We went to the Forsterstube again and were very satisfied with the food and service. After we know that the As the innkeeper is also a hunter, we have the extra dish in mid-September Ate 2 meat patties with wild boar and venison. I have to say...Very, very good 👍

The atmosphere is perfect thanks to being closed to a gulf cort. The food and services was fine. The burgers can be improved.

Heerlijk stuk varkensnek gegeten echt de moeite waard, aardige mensen en een mooie ambiance. Echte, pure Duitse keuken en niet duur.

I ate a shoulder of pork there, but I wasn't that impressed. The crust was crispy but not salty, rather tasteless. The meat was dry and really not worth recommending. The beer was OK. The service was very unfriendly, not just to us but to others. The staff constantly smoked at the front of the table instead of serving. No question about whether I enjoyed it. No goodbye. I won't go there again.

We were there on December 31, 2024 with a group of 11 people. We were seated to the right of the entrance in a hall that was almost unheated. The staff is unfriendly and me and my partner's food was forgotten. Everyone else was already finished when our food finally arrived. It didn't taste good either. Not recommended!!
