Unfortunately, we received the wrong salad twice. When another salad arrived, it wasn't dressed (no salt, pepper, olive oil, or vinegar). The cucumber and tomato pieces were so large that we had to chop them up three times. Somehow, we weren't understood. The main courses were also lightly or not at all seasoned. It's a shame; perhaps the kitchen staff weren't in the mood. Sitting down, the atmosphere is nice.
Last week we went to the spa for my husband's birthday and then had dinner in the bistro - we had the vegetarian burger with grilled vegetables and feta - unfortunately there were only two tiny cubes of feta on it, which is really a shame for this price - especially since you shouldn't declare the burger to have feta - but at least it tasted good.
My dish was much more questionable:
Wild garlic bread dumplings with tomato sugo.
Never eaten anything worse - with a lot of imagination you could taste the wild garlic and they were super tasteless and soft when cooked.
The tomato sugo consisted of chopped canned tomatoes and a few fresh cocktail tomatoes.
It was really very disappointing.
I wanted to tell the staff how we found the food, but no one came to ask if everything was ok.
All in all, it's a shame. Especially for the price.
We received a warm welcome. We received prompt and friendly service. The potato salad was truly homemade. We enjoyed the country beer and wheat beer, as well as our food. The salad dressing was excellent. The inn, tables, and chairs are in a high-quality country-style. We often visit the area. We're fascinated by the fact that there are so many good-quality restaurants that are also well-frequented. The prices in the area are excellent. The prices here are on the high side for the area. Still reasonably priced compared to Germany, of course. Parking isn't easy due to the narrow streets in the town. Unfortunately, the restaurant's parking spaces aren't sufficient. The neighbors have already cordoned off the area and put up warning signs.
In summary: a great inn with its own brewery and excellent facilities.
Beware of lack of love for animals
Unfortunately, our small, very well-behaved dachshund was not allowed into the restaurant upon request. This was done in a very derogatory tone. And in a place like this.
Therefore I can neither judge the food nor the ambience as it is out of the question for me to eat there. Service is zero!!!
