Restaurant Santorini in Bad Staffelstein

Bis auf die hohe Wartezeit auf das Essen von 2 Stunden am Muttertag war alles super. Getränke wurden aber zeitnah gebracht.

Essen sehr gut, hätte etwas heißer sein dürfen. Preis-Leistung top. Portionen reichlich... Etwas laut bei vollem Restaurant.

Wir essen in Deutschland normalerweise nicht griechisch, weil wir Griechen sind und die bisher probierten „germanisierten“ Varianten nicht mögen. Gestern kamen wir zufällig an diesem Restaurant vorbei, es roch unglaublich gut, und wir fanden sofort einen Parkplatz. Also beschlossen wir, es einfach mal auszuprobieren. Wir bestellten Gavros, frittierte kleine Fische und Souvlaki und waren mehr als positiv überrascht. Der Gastgeber war sehr herzlich und freundlich, und die ganze Atmosphäre roch und schmeckte griechisch. Vielen Dank, liebes Eftychie! Wir kommen wieder. PS: Die Preise waren wirklich fair.

Das Essen ist wirklich sehr gut, Service top. Der einzige Kritikpunkt wäre die " Akustik ". Ŵenn das Lokal gut besucht ist, und das war es an den Besuch ist der Geräuschpegel schon hoch . Bei unserem 2 Besuch war meine Portion vom Gyros kurioserwieise 2/3 weniger, obwohl wir zur gleichen Uhrzeit dass Restaurant besucht haben.

Der Service war schnell und freundlich. Das Ambiente passt auch gut und ist nicht überladen. Der Beilagensalat war auch gut eine ordentliche Portion. Jedoch hat mich das Hauptgericht, Schweinefilet mit Champignon Sauce nicht so überzeugt. Da fehlte mir irgendwie das griechische. Ich hätte vielleicht doch das Gyros nehmen sollen. Das wäre aber mit Reis und nicht mit Pommes gewesen und nach der Karte kosten Umbesetellungen 2 €.

Ein tolles Lokal, sehr nette Bedienung und das Essen war sehr lecker. Preis, Leistung absolut top. Kommen auf jeden Fall wieder.

Wir waren im Dezember 2025 dort zum Essen. Die junge Dame die uns bediente war sehr freundlich. Wir hatten sehr zarte Souflakispieße. Riesige Portionen und sehr günstig. Tolles Ambiente. Wir kommen wieder beim nächsten Urlaub.

Der Besuch überzeugt vor allem durch die ganz leckeren griechischen Fleisch- und Fischgerichte, die geschmacklich authentisch und frisch zubereitet wirken. Besonders der Fisch ist absolut zu empfehlen, da er qualitativ hochwertig ist und sorgfältig gewürzt serviert wird. Auch das Gyros sticht positiv hervor, da es saftig, aromatisch und typisch griechisch abgeschmeckt ist. Insgesamt hinterlässt die Küche einen sehr guten Eindruck und rechtfertigt die hohe Bewertung. Neben der Speisenqualität trägt auch das schöne Ambiente maßgeblich zum positiven Gesamterlebnis bei. Die Einrichtung ist stimmig und schafft eine angenehme Atmosphäre, in der man sich gerne aufhält. Das Zusammenspiel aus Dekoration, Beleuchtung und Raumgestaltung sorgt für ein authentisches und zugleich entspanntes Umfeld, das sowohl für einen gemütlichen Abend zu zweit als auch für ein Treffen mit Freunden geeignet ist. Hervorzuheben ist zudem die topp Bedienung, die sich durch Freundlichkeit, Schnelligkeit und Zuvorkommenheit auszeichnet. Das Servicepersonal agiert aufmerksam, reagiert zügig auf Wünsche und trägt damit wesentlich zu einem reibungslosen Ablauf bei. Insgesamt ergibt sich ein durchweg positives Gesamtbild ohne erkennbare Nachteile.

We always used to go to the other Greek restaurant, but the prices there are exorbitant. Here, you get genuine Greek hospitality. The food is fantastic, everything is perfect. It couldn't be better. We always come here now. Amazing!

Anyone complaining here hasn't had a bad experience yet. I regularly go there with my "girls" and we're always blown away. The appetizers—feta cream, tzatziki, garlic bread—are divine; we could bathe in them. The main courses, whether meat or fish, and the side dishes and salads are also fantastic. The service is top-notch! 😋😋😋

Unfortunately, we received the wrong salad twice. When another salad arrived, it wasn't dressed (no salt, pepper, olive oil, or vinegar). The cucumber and tomato pieces were so large that we had to chop them up three times. Somehow, we weren't understood. The main courses were also lightly or not at all seasoned. It's a shame; perhaps the kitchen staff weren't in the mood. Sitting down, the atmosphere is nice.

Please note!!!! Cash only!!!!! We spontaneously went there to eat something without a reservation on May 7, 2025. The greeting was relatively unfriendly and cold, as if we were disturbing. Quickly brought to the table in the last corner. It was like being dispatched quickly. Order, eat, pay and go. After about 40 minutes we were outside again. The food itself was delicious but the service was poor. The final amount for the invoice was stated without receiving a paper invoice. Please check in advance whether it fits!!! Bad Staffelstein has even more restaurants to offer and we'll keep looking.

Food, quality and price-performance ratio are okay, but some dishes were too mild for my taste, sometimes even bland. For a Greek restaurant I find the ambience relatively neutral. Sanitary facilities could be modernized.

Whenever we are in Bad Staffelstein, it is a must to go to Santorini. The friendly welcome is just great. The service is very attentive and requests are taken into account. The food is always freshly prepared and very, very good. We'll be back. And our lovely dog ​​is also welcome.

I've been a regular here for many years and can't understand the previous review. Was always treated kindly. It goes without saying that you won't get a seat in a very good restaurant on Valentine's Day without a reservation.

I would prefer not to give a star because we have never been so insulted. And that only because we come from another city and wanted to eat and drink something spontaneously and without a reservation. One of the waiters was nice, but the woman with long black hair was very insulting to us, so we immediately left the restaurant. In my opinion, the restaurant is not worth visiting if you expect friendly treatment of guests.

The food in Santorini is truly excellent. There's nothing to complain about here. It is served quickly, fresh and warm. It's not overly seasoned, but not bland either - just right. The tzatziki with homemade white bread in particular tastes excellent. The portions are more than sufficient. The service is always friendly, attentive and fun. Here you feel comfortable and valued as a guest. The ambience could be a touch more “Greek”. But that is subjective. It is definitely attractive, clean and cozy. In summary: A clear recommendation at any time!

The atmosphere could be a little more comfortable. Food was delicious and there were small portions for adults. Brilliant and completely sufficient. All in all, nice service, delicious food, saved the day.😃

The ambience was nice. The portions are large, but the taste is just okay, but nothing more. The souvlaki was dry and there is definitely room for improvement when preparing the dishes.

Went to Santorini again yesterday. Food was again super tasty. Lamb chops and Olympic plate. Highly recommended. The friendly staff are always worth it

Ambience and service great. The food, however, leaves something to be desired. The dishes could be presented a little nicer. I ordered Suzukia with green beans instead of rice. I had to pay an extra 2 euros for the change. Only to realize that I didn't like the green beans as they were very soft and didn't have much flavor. In addition, there were only three Suzukia with sauce on the plate (the beans were on a separate plate), unfortunately that didn't make much difference.

The food, portion size, service and price actually deserve five stars. The reason why it only got three stars is because I don't like it when dogs are allowed into the restaurant. I'm not a dog hater, but let's imagine everyone brings their pet with them.

Atmosphere very good. Service very nice. But the restaurant is not Greek but Russian. Nobody knows Greek and the waitress who says it's Pondios doesn't even know what Pondios means because Pondios is Greek then he had to know Greek too. The food, the gyros, was definitely not fresh, you saw that, it wasn't freshly cut from the stick, which was no idea, but if you know what you're doing, you know what you're getting It's big because SUVlaki usually have two pieces on them, but there are actually three on them. Pita good but if you're Greek dis you know you have to cut it into four pieces why? Big discussion, I'll explain it like this. It's not bratwurst with a fork and knife either, but it's ok. Garlic bread is too finished and has no garlic taste. Unfortunately I can't recommend it any more than Greek. Otherwise, if you like it you can go ahead and eat. As I said, nice service, good atmosphere from the food, apart from the gyros, everything else was ok.

It's a good place to eat out, the portions are sufficient but everything was quite lightly seasoned. Currently, three people at the table independently thought the Greek in Lichtenfels was better, but Santorini is also okay

We were here for the first time and really loved it. The food and service were both very good. The portions of the food were completely ok and the price/performance ratio was very good. As a starter we had Saganaki including a few slices of white bread, which was really very good. Beforehand we were given a small but very tasty salad. Our two main courses on both plates were absolutely top notch in terms of meat. We'll definitely be back. The service was very, very nice and the food came to the table in a timely manner even after ordering

Excellent food...your best Greek in Bad Staffelstein. Great value for money! And, unlike other Greeks, ouzo is free! We were even lucky enough to get two per person!

Ambiance was very nice. Starter plates were also okay. Steak would have needed a little more time. (Village plate) Almost impossible to cut with knives, portions were large. Skampi were fried with the skin on and could not be removed from the casing. Gyros were good, even the one gratinated with Metaxa sauce. Some of the ones on the menu are not so recommended.

We reserved a table for lunch. Come in the evening with a small dog and be brought to the table. The waitresses are very quick and friendly. Toilets clean. Food tastes very good. Meat is not dry. The decoration is a bit mixed between Greek and Russian. Recommended, we would come back.

Haben am vergangenen Sonntag zum ersten mal etwas zum Essen abgeholt, und wir müßen sagen: Wir haben selten ein so zuvor kommendes Personal, sowie Bedienung und ein sehr sehr gutes Essen erhalten. Es war sehr gut, man wurde sehr gute Bedient, auch gegenüber Menschen mit Beeinträchtigung .....einfach Top, vom Anfang bis zum Ende. Kurz um sind 5 Sterne eigentlich noch zu wenig :) dieses Lokal hätte eindeutig mehr verdient. Preis Leistung ebenfalls zu empfehlen. Der Preis war völlig gerechtfertigt für die Portionen die ausgegeben werden.......Jederzeit wieder

Sehr gute Auswahl an klassischen Gerichten , sogar im Rahmen von halben Portionen möglich, ermöglicht durch Sehr freundliches und engagiertes Personal. Je nach Sitzplatz und Uhrzeit evtl bissl laut, aber das ist natürlich gästeabhängig. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder 😊👍

Freundliche Bedienung und Kellner. Es war nicht so voll. Ich hatte die olympia Platte 18.90 der Reis hätte etwas mehr würze vertragen können und es war wenig. Deshalb bestellte ich mir noch extra Pommes. Fragt einfach ob es etwas mehr als beilagen sein soll. Der gebackene Schafskäse war lecker als Vorspeise.

Santorini Salat ist mein Favorit!
