Since I am on October 19th. It's my birthday, so we thought we'd go to Alzenau to the Alte Post and have dinner there! The table for three people was reserved in advance! We, my wife, my son and I, were in the restaurant on October 19th, 2024 BEFORE 5:30 p.m.! (There was live music from 6:30 p.m.) The first impression was good! Ambience is quite ok! Order went quickly! We ordered two beef roulades with dumplings and red cabbage and a vegan burger! Plus 1x large bottle of water, 1x house lemonade and 1x injected apple juice! The food came quickly, (feels like 10…15 minutes) However, the roulades were also cold! My partner's food wasn't any better either (lukewarm) The roulade filling is partially refrigerator cold! Dumplings and red cabbage also lukewarm! Vegan burger, according to my son, was good! Tip from me. Leave the food in the microwave for a minute longer, but reduce the power by 30%! Service three stars Food two stars! Ultimately more appearance than reality. However, according to the service staff, the store was completely booked! But that's McDonald's too! To be honest, I'm not one to rate a restaurant, but this one was really wrong. Sorry

The sun doesn't want advertising. There are enough regulars. I am 58 years old and have been coming there since I was a child. She has the best fish I could ever eat. Friday is fish lunch. I love the in-house wines, which used to be made in-house. You can ask or call whether there is still a place available on the weekend, Friday to Sunday.

We had various pizzas, lasagna, salad, soup and fish salad. All the dishes were really very good. The use of fresh, excellent ingredients could certainly be eliminated, which justifies the price level. Ambience known and unique, service 1a.

Hospitality tends to be underplayed here. Unfriendly and making you wait, even though it really wasn't stressful. And you really can't recommend the coffee either. And then the stream was no longer valid (bonfire), manmanman. Weissbier was good, that's why we get the second star. Unfortunately that was it.

Excellent food, with excellent service! We are locals, and Maharaja is our go to place when we want take out food.

Even if the quality of the food has unfortunately declined somewhat over the years, it is always worth a visit.

On our trips from Koblenz to Munich and back we often stop by il sole. Yesterday we ate a rump steak with chanterelles and tagliatelle with vegetables and both were excellent. the rump steak was medium plus and the chanterelles including the sauce were excellent, a relatively large side salad with a very good house dressing rounded the whole thing off. Highly recommended

Great Italian, very tasty and fresh

Food wasn't that good, everything was warmed up quickly. Service was also very slow. A lady has to serve all the tables so she will come back later. She has time for the local grandpas but no time for strangers. It's a shame, it's a nice location.
