I was staying at a hotel not far from here and found this traditional restaurant. There's also a guesthouse in the same building.
I called and a very nice lady reserved a table for me. Great service, everything went perfectly.
So I spent my evening here alone, but with many other nice guests, enjoying good drinks and delicious traditional food.
Very neat and clean restrooms.
Very friendly staff!
I had the noodle soup (vegan) and dumplings (vegan); I haven't had such exceptionally good and flavorful food in a long time. We'll definitely be back😊Highly recommended 😊
As I was here a third time with my wife,as always a beautiful local with Good Food 😍!
The next we must try one of the many wines , because it's seems they do have a lot of it!
Very strange, they don't accept cash. Unfortunately, in Germany, cash is still the official means of payment, thank goodness, and here it's simply ignored...
A dream of an inn.
The horseradish meat is a dream, homemade with a real kick, as it should be. Budenschuster (no industrial junk) is a very, very tasty beer. Homemade schnapps as a nightcap rounds it all off. The service is top-notch, and the food came quickly; everyone was very friendly and accommodating. It's not for nothing that it's the oldest inn in the Franconian Forest. Highly recommended for locals and holidaymakers alike.
The shop is easily accessible by car and public transport. There are seating areas inside. The decor is simple and straightforward. The restroom is a bit small, but still OK.
The dishes taste very good and are freshly prepared with fresh market ingredients. They make the bread in their own oven and it tastes delicious. The chefs and staff are very polite and accommodating. The number of dishes is manageable, but very delicious.
Desserts are also available.
For special guests, there are also special dishes such as the Iskender Isot from the unique master chef (Apo Usta). Anyone who tries this Iskender will never eat anything else. It tastes simply fantastic. I can recommend it to everyone.
