Das Essen war sehr gut und die Atmosphäre in der Barrel Weinbar in Abensberg wirklich schön und angenehm. Insgesamt wirkt das Lokal stilvoll und lädt eigentlich zu einem entspannten Abend ein. Leider wurde unser Besuch deutlich dadurch getrübt, dass wir bereits bei der Ankunft um 18:00 Uhr darüber informiert wurden, dass wir um 19:30 Uhr den Tisch wieder verlassen müssen. Diese Begrenzung wurde uns vorher am Telefon nicht mitgeteilt, was sehr enttäuschend war. Dadurch entstand unnötiger Zeitdruck, und ein entspannter Abend war kaum möglich. Besonders ärgerlich war, dass es spontan keine Alternativen gab und wir den Abend so nicht wie geplant genießen konnten. Insgesamt schade, da Essen und Ambiente eigentlich gut sind, der fehlende Hinweis zur zeitlichen Begrenzung aber den gesamten Besuch negativ beeinflusst hat.

Eines der besten Cafés in Abensberg für Kaffee, Brunch und Abendessen! Das Essen ist immer hervorragend, die Atmosphäre warm und einladend, und die Mitarbeiter sind einfach wunderbar. Alle sind freundlich und aufmerksam und man fühlt sich vom ersten Moment an willkommen. Ein fantastischer Ort zum Entspannen, um gutes Essen zu genießen und Zeit mit Freunden oder der Familie zu verbringen. Absolut empfehlenswert!

Kann mich dem Bewertungen auch nicht anschließen. Personal großtenteils unfreundlich. Essen völlig überteuert, zu schlechter qualität. Ich habe auch ewig auf mein Essen gewartet Wenn man in abg wohnt, sieht man den Chef auch beim LIDL immer das billigste Hähnchenfleish zu massen einknaufen. das wird dann wohl serviert, so wie es schmeckt. (hatte die terriaki bowl und es war echt fast schon eklig. und dann fast 20€ kostets)

Ich bin ja wirklich sehr kritisch was essen angeht. Aber es war wirklich sehr sehr lecker. Die Vorspeise (Burrata mit Feigen) hätte etwas mehr Pepp/Würze gebraucht, war aber trotzdem sehr gut. Hatten noch die Terryaki Bowl. Die war wirklich sehr sehr lecker. Mein Chickenburger war auch ganz gut.

Schönes Restaurant mit schönem Ambiente und sehr guter Küche. Ich war zwei mal dort und habe sehr gut gegessen. Das Personal ist auf zack und sehr freundlich.

Das Barrel ist sehr angenehm und wir kommen gerne wieder.

Barrel geht halt immer. Egal ob Frühstück, Snacks, Kaffeetrinken, Abendessen oder Bar am Abend. Was hier besonders auffällt ist der immer sehr freundliche Service und der gute Umgang mit allen Gästen.

Sehr angenehmer und freundliche Empfang mit einem freundlichen Lächelndes Gesicht, worauf ich sehr hohen Wert lege!!! Meine Frau und ich haben ein Wellness Wochenende in der Nähe und wollten auf die Schnelle noch gegen 21:00 Uhr Kaffee und Kuchen. Hier waren wir sehr willkommen und wurden auch sehr schön bedient mit sehr leckeren Orangen. Kuchen mit Vanilleeis und einem absolut leckeren Apfelkuchen auch sehr schön dekorierten Teller.... Ambiente, schön angenehm sauber und auch gehoben. Die Beleuchtung für es absolut angenehm und meine Frau und ich haben uns sehr sehr wohl gefühlt und es sitzt sich auch sehr schön und die Temperatur ist auch sehr genehm!!!! Sind professionell und Der Kaffee schmeckt absolut super!!!! Man bekommt nicht alle überall eine sehr guten Kaffee wie hier, die man in Rachen noch gut schmeckt..... Ich kann dieses Ambiente sehr, sehr empfehlen!!!! Leider ist es mir zu spät eingefallen vom Kuchen ein Foto zu machen. Sorry, weil dir sehr lecker war.👍😂

Mein zweiter Besuch in dieser wunderschönen Location. Absolut empfehlenswert für einen wunderschönen Aufenthalt …einfach Top 👏🏻 trotz 70 Km Entfernung, komme ich gerne wieder!

Waren gestern mit 6 Personen mittags dort essen, Currybowl, Schnitzel, Burger…alles sehr lecker, Preise human, sehr nette Bedienung

Sehr schönes und modernes Ambiente. Sehr freundlicher und schneller Service. Zudem gibt es hier ein unglaublich leckeres und qualitatives Essen. Es ist für jeden etwas dabei von klassisch bayerisch bis mediterran. Vor allem schmeckt es nicht nur unglaublich gut, sondern wird auch noch richtig schön angerichtet und jedes Gericht hat einen besonderen Twist. Ob vegetarisch, mit Fleisch oder Fisch. Komme immer wieder sehr gerne abends hierher, um mit meinen Mädls einen schönen Abend zu verbringen. Außerdem gibt es Milchalternativen zum Kaffee (Cappuccino mit Hafermilch!)

Our second visit – and another disappointment. We traveled 600 km today just to warm up and have a coffee before visiting the Christmas market. Unfortunately, this wish was not granted: the coffee was cold, and the unfriendly atmosphere we experienced the first time hadn't improved. It's a shame when a restaurant, which actually has the potential to win over guests with small gestures like a warm drink and a smile, instead disappoints with a lack of hospitality and poor quality. This is especially disappointing during the pre-Christmas season when people are looking for warmth and coziness. We had hoped for more – especially since we made the long journey. Perhaps it was just an off day, but unfortunately, it wasn't any better the second time around. What a pity! We would be happy if something were to change here, as the potential is definitely there!

I went to this café for the first time today at 3 p.m. to have a coffee. The pregnant woman who served me was very rude. She spilled the coffee on the table and didn't even apologize for it getting on my trousers. I felt like it was my fault for coming to the café at that time. If I were the manager, I would fire that woman immediately.

As I was here a third time with my wife,as always a beautiful local with Good Food 😍! The next we must try one of the many wines , because it's seems they do have a lot of it!

Left the restaurant after 10 minutes because the manager wasn't interested in customers. The service was nice... They even apologized for their boss. There are nicer restaurants nearby.

Very high prices. You expect the best service. Which wasn't the case. The food arrived without cutlery, only received upon request. With several people! Windows were opened behind us without asking if it might be a nuisance. The food is okay. But there's still room for improvement. If you charge Munich prices, you have to deliver.

The two of us ate at the Barrel on a Friday evening. We reserved a table early by phone for 5:30 p.m. We received a warm welcome, were shown to our outdoor table, and received friendly service. The waiters were attentive without being pushy. The food arrived very quickly. Around 6:40 p.m., an older guest approached us and told us we were sitting at his reserved table (from 7:00 p.m.). We were able to fob him off by pointing out that we had also reserved the table. Shortly afterward, a waiter came over to us because we actually wanted dessert. He told us that he would have to take our money in the next 10 minutes, as the table was reserved again from 7:00 p.m. No one had informed us beforehand that we would have to leave the table at 7:00 p.m. Therefore, we were very surprised by the situation. We would have liked to stay longer, even to have another drink. We brought this up again when we were paying, whereupon the waiter apologized and said we should remember his face and that we'd get something on the house next time, as it was a bit difficult today. Whether that was just a lame excuse or if there was actually something available, we'll see. Unfortunately, this situation had a significantly negative impact on our experience at the Barrel. It's particularly worth noting that more than half of the seats inside the restaurant were still free when we had to leave. Likewise, the situation would have been different if someone had told us beforehand that the table was only reserved for 1.5 hours. There was also live music in the town square that evening, which encouraged guests to linger. Aside from that, the food here really delivers. It tastes excellent.

I've rarely eaten such a great salad. An absolute taste experience! Great service, and the family is adorable.

Went to the Barrel for the first time for a birthday dinner. I'm totally thrilled. Very friendly and attentive service, (if you book in advance by phone) a beautifully set birthday table that immediately caught the eye, with white napkins etc. and really good food. Conclusion: An absolutely successful birthday evening and an absolutely recommendable restaurant.

All generations, children, parents and grandparents were very satisfied with the variety, freshness and presentation of the food. Always happy.

Kudos to this restaurant. Everything just fits here. Whether breakfast, lunch or dinner, everything is delicious, large portions and a diverse selection of dishes.

We went there for brunch with our daughter today. It was just great. The staff was very friendly, considerate, emphatic. The food we chose was a delight, both in terms of taste and for the eye. We felt very comfortable. I can only recommend it.

The burger is the best in the world

Stylish restaurant, smartly furnished with lots of comfortable tables and some seating at the large bar. The atmosphere seems relaxed and the general noise level is completely normal. The service could be a little more attentive, but overall it's fine. Very extensive wine selection, everyone should make up their own mind about the price. The menu includes both a good breakfast offering and a reasonable selection of main courses. The food tasted good and the price-performance ratio was just right. A reservation is easily possible online.

Unfortunately, we were somehow ignored at the bar for a long time until we left. Several service staff would have had the opportunity to serve. I was greeted and knew that we had sat down at the bar for a glass of wine. Unfortunately, this made it seem a little snooty. The ambience is really great, the dining room looks very cozy and inviting.

Disastrous: kitchen completely overwhelmed despite reservations. After 1 1/2 hours of waiting we still didn't get a main course. A dirty evening and we advise everyone not to go here!

The wine bar has a beautiful ambience and feels very inviting. However, we weren't served at the counter for over 10 minutes, even though the bar wasn't very busy. As we walked past, a service worker told us that she would come to us straight away, but then she didn't come to us and instead had conversations with the counter staff. I can't recommend the bar as there are good alternatives with fast and courteous service.

The ambience was actually the best because of the good seating, the food was okay, but the prices are so high and the portions are far too small.

We always come by for a delicious breakfast and then enjoy the great ambience on the market square combined with good food. So far we have never been really disappointed and have always felt comfortable. The pancakes, for example, are really good and the bread with avocado was also really good. The coffee tastes excellent and the juices seem really fresh. Only the eggs Benedict can be expanded. There's too much hollandaise sauce on it that probably wasn't homemade. Unlike all the other things I tried, it doesn't taste quite the same. The 5th star is given if something is improved. Of course we would still like to come back.

The menu is varied and the food was very tasty. We had a seat outside, and reservations were recommended at peak times if the weather was good. And we enjoyed it and enjoyed it!

Quite good in itself, I personally expected more choice because of the great pictures. Unfortunately, the burger meat wasn't homemade (probably frozen?) but it was good.

Good food with friendly service. The waiting time is also quite fast despite the store being full.

There were two of us there with two strollers. We got a place without any problems. Although there is no changing room, there is an opportunity to change in front of the toilets and breastfeeding at the table was no problem. Accordingly, we considered it to be very child and family friendly. The food was very tasty and can only be recommended. Together we paid just under €35 for 2 large spritzers, a main course each and a cappuccino. The ambience invites you to linger and the service staff are also great and think for themselves. I can only recommend the barrel!

Sehr schönes Restaurant, sehr schön gelegen in der Altstadt. Das Personal war sehr freundlich, aufmerksames und nett, wir waren für Kaffee und Kuchen dort, war sehr gut.

Frühstück für 15,50€ war einfach zu teuer.Brötchen waren ca 5x5cm und Frostbrötchen .Butter wahr ca 20g.Obst/Gemüse als Dekoratin wahr etwas mau.Käse wurde aus Kühlschrank anscheinend ohne Abdeckung herausgeholt, da er am Rand hart wahr.Mein Kaffee wurde einem anderen Gast zugeteilt und nach einer Bemerkung ,das ich einen anderen Kaffee bestellt hatte wurde dieser von Gast zu Gast bzw vom Tisch zu Tisch nur ausgetauscht mit der Aussage:Er habe es noch nicht angerührt/getrunken und ich auch nicht.Bedinung selbst ,war frdl.aber nur nach Bestellung.

Και σε γονείς που έχουν παιδάκια γιατί ο χώρος είναι ήσυχος και δεν υπάρχουν αυτοκίνητα φασαρία.Μετα από μια δύσκολη μέρα δουλειάς είναι το ομορφότερο μέρος για χαλάρωση με όμορφη παρέα .

Eine tolle Bar mitten in Abensberg. Der Service war sehr gut... obwohl es sehr voll war, haben die Bedienungen zügig gearbeitet und man musste nicht lange auf die Bestellungen warten. Zudem waren alle äußerst freundlich und zuvorkommend. Die Burger 🍔 waren echt lecker. Preislich noch ok. Das Ambiente ist toll, die Bar ist schick eingerichtet. Allerdings sollte man hier vorher reservieren. Empfehlenswert!!

After work dinner and didn’t expect much, but the Greek staff are very friendly. Atmosphere is relaxed, with modern arhitecture, good music and variety of wines and beers. The pasta I tried were very tasty. Prices are balanced to the place and quality of the services.
