Sky Restaurant in Abensberg

Kudos to this restaurant. Everything just fits here. Whether breakfast, lunch or dinner, everything is delicious, large portions and a diverse selection of dishes.

No multi-page menu, no "fancy", no "nouvelle cuisine" - instead a rustic, cozy, traditional, Bavarian "Jägerstüberl" that reminded me of my grandma's former living room and where we enjoyed a very tasty sausage salad and another delicious dark shandy and felt really comfortable and transported back to even happier, earlier times. The very friendly and authentic host couple made our visit an unforgettable experience. Thank you very much and I would be happy to come back and a warm greeting from Switzerland!

The new vegetarian dish 'Brussels sprouts with cheese gratin on potato rosti (homemade)' was very good. Thanks George!

I had a salami pizza last week and spaghetti carbonara today. Pizza was OK. Nice thin dough but nothing out of the ordinary. Unfortunately the spaghetti sauce was more like scrambled eggs. 10€ for that is a real shame. But I also bought it to take away both times, so it might be better on site. Ambiance is more like a snack bar. Tables always occupied by regular customers.

Ordered there for the first time today. The choice fell on different sushi boxes. Extremely tasty, freshly prepared. Ready for collection on time. Everything is very clean, you can see it because of the open kitchen. Very friendly service. Gladly again.
