Rice Man at Titisee was a curious and fun experience from the beginning. To begin with, I had to ring the doorbell a couple of times because no one showed up, which already added a touch of mystery to the matter. When the owner finally arrived, we realized that English was not her strong point, but between gestures and smiles, we managed to make ourselves understood and order food and drinks for three. The portions at Rice Man are more than generous, so much so that you can take any leftovers home, a practice that seemed to be quite common because we saw several people coming and going just to pick up orders. We opted for some spring rolls and wontons to start, followed by a serving of chicken with rice and two bowls of stir-fried noodles with meat. Everything was well cooked and served, and the food had that homemade taste that is sometimes hard to find in larger restaurants. The funny thing came at the end, when we hadn't finished digesting the last spoonful and, without warning, the owner brought the bill directly to the table. There was no opportunity to even order a farewell coffee. Maybe the language barrier had something to do with it, or maybe it was his way of telling us that it was time to free up the table. In any case, it was a different and fun experience, perfect for a quick and tasty meal in Titisee.

Almost as bad as could be. Over 1 hour wait between ordering and food arriving. No real apology given either, just that the Kitchen had some kind of riot??. Even worst we ordered a side salad to eat with our meal which arrived after 20mins but by the time our food arrived that was gone. Being outside we was almost too cold to eat when the food did arrive. To add more insult, another side salad was brought out with our meal, but seeing the empty salad bowl that was quickly taken away from us. The meals were OK, but nothing amazing even after the wait. Even after this terrible service no apology, no extra drink etc to make up for the wait, and still demanded full price. No one around us was happy at all. Extremely disappointed, and a very black mark on our trip. Will never be returning and would like a manager to acknowledge this was not good service at all.

We took this hotel for a nice thermal weekend, and this hotel was the right choice. Inexpensive and good seat from the hotel.

Very quiet and small restaurant with very nice staff:) Price-performance ratio is very good and the selection is also very large. Food was prepared quickly and also very tasty :)

We had a pizza, schnitzel, fries and a steak. The prices are of course justified these days, but they are still high. My wife liked the steak okay, but my pizza and the schnitzel were eaten well.

We have never experienced anything like this. The operators really have no idea about anything. We have the worst currywurst ever! Eaten at a price that leaves you stunned: 6 euros for a puny sausage with a disgusting sauce. There was also a dried-out roll from the supermarket that was cut open. Anyone who knows anything about white bread knows that it is not good at all. It dries out even faster. And this one was more than dead 💀 We paid almost 16 euros for 2 currywurst with rolls and a 0.33 cola. Unbelievable! The ambience matches the quality: terrible. The service was also rather listless and unmotivated. Find another job. This is only for motivated professionals.

For us it's perfect food. Though only rice option but has various sabjis and perfect location

Disrespectful and unprofessional the hotel manager! We should be ashamed of such a leadership!

The nastiest kebab there is in all of Germany. Just as disgusting as the one in Lenzkirch. That's not a kebab. No real sauces, just a single mush slapped on top. No real salads. Just a lot of cheap iceberg lettuce and a few bits of other stuff. THAT has nothing to do with kebab. Take a look around at real kebab stalls. You can learn something there.

This place is disastrous. They messed up our orders and gave us something different than what we ordered. The burgers were literally broken in half. All the food is made with complete disregard.

Food isn't exactly cheap but the worst thing is it doesn't taste good. I don't think they even have a chef so that's the last time they've seen me
