Very, very large but tasty portions. At a reasonable price. In my case three different pasta dishes, all 3 of which were actually very tasty. All were homemade.

My German friend and I had a very enjoyable evening. We both had matjes (young herrings) with Bratkartoffeln (fried potatoes) with sour cream. When it came time for dessert our host suggested and homemade Rote Grütze which did not disappoint. I had a local wine (Gutedel) and my friend a beer. I was curious as I have seen both high and low ratings. The limited menu is written on a small chalk board which is brought to the table. The owner is not outgoing or a conversationalist, perhaps that why there have been comments about lack of service? He answers questions in brief sentences and I learned he comes from Munster in Nordrhein-Westfalen. I found the service to be good and we were not rushed out. The food was very tasty. I would definitely return.

Best pizza in the region! I've been coming to this pizzeria for many years and it's a highlight every time. The pizza is simply the best I have ever tasted - perfectly prepared, with high quality ingredients and an authentic Italian taste that is second to none. Added to this is the incredibly friendly staff, who are always warm and attentive. You immediately feel welcome and in good hands. If you're in the area and want really good pizza, you should definitely come here. Absolute recommendation!

Nie wieder. Kaum hatten wir uns an einen Tisch gesetzt, bekamen wir mit, wie eine Servicekraft eine Kollegin in aggressiver Art und Weise vor den Gästen zusammen gefaltet hat. Danach bediente uns genau diese Servicekraft (etwas ältere Frau) sehr unfreundlich, knallte die Teller auf den Tisch. Durch ein Missverständnis unsererseits bekamen wir normale Pommes. Auf die Frage nach Süßkartoffelpommes bekamen wir eine Antwort in sehr frechem Tonfall, dass diese 1 € Aufpreis kosten würden und das schließlich in der Speisekarte auch stehen würde. Hätte man unseres Erachtens nach auch netter sagen können. Aber das kann diese Frau wohl nicht. Uns hat diese Atmosphäre überhaupt nicht gefallen, was wir später auch einem Kellner, der fragte, ob bei uns alles in Ordnung sei, erzählten. Er hatte Verständnis gehabt und gesagt, dass diese Frau immer so ist. Uns tun die Gäste aber vor allem die Kollegen nur leid. Und wird man da auf keinen Fall wieder sehen.

We usually eat to-go and parts of the order are often forgotten! Salads, drinks, sauces and even complete burgers. To unpack the whole bag, you can eat right there. If we notice and let us know, it will take a long time for our order to be complete and by then the rest of the food will be cold.
