We spontaneously came here for the first time. The service was very friendly, helpful and attentive. Even without a reservation, we got a spot straight away. The food came relatively quickly after ordering. We generally didn't have to wait long. There is a good selection of dishes. The portions are large. You will definitely get full here. It tastes very tasty! Great value for money, totally affordable. The location is nice. It was quiet around and there were plenty of places to sit outside. Generally very satisfactory! We'd love to come back :)

Very tasty food and a very nice atmosphere. Unfortunately you had to wait a bit (30 minutes), but you were provided with drinks all the quicker. One more service person certainly wouldn't have hurt. The restaurant probably recognized this too, because there was an advertisement for a waitress when I was there. The food was very tasty 😋.

The schnitzel and cordon bleu are freshly prepared, that's great. Unfortunately, the spaetzle was far too salty, the sauces were available in festival-style plastic bags, and the price-performance ratio wasn't right.

A beautiful, traditional inn with very good cuisine and friendly service. Taste, portion size are worth the price.

Das Restaurant ist sehr gepflegt. Die thailändischen Speisen waren sehr gut. Das rote Kokosmilch Curry mit Schwein war wirklich hervorragend - das Gemüse fein geschnitten, das Fleisch schön zart und die Portion hätte für 2 gereicht. Pad Wunsen mit Maishähnchen war auch sehr gut. Beide Gerichte haben uns besser geschmeckt als bei der Freiburger/ Malterdinger Konkurrenz, wo die Speisen vergleichsweise einfacher sind. Die Weinkarte könnte für so ein Restaurant besser, exklusiver sein. Service freundlich, unaufdringlich. Schade, dass wir dieses Restaurant erst jetzt entdeckt haben.

We had dinner with a first communion party in the Schlegel Hof. The owner and the employees are extremely friendly and accommodating. The food was really great and tasted well together. There is an outdoor terrace for dining outside or enjoying an aperitif. I felt very comfortable as a guest, just dining in a pleasant atmosphere with family. I would happily recommend it.

Nice beer garden, simple, honest food. BUT: It's rarely open. Only once a week. We recently drove there for free. With all due respect, but they could at least open on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays. Apparently, they can make a good living from being open one day a week and hosting a few events. So all the complaining from the competition seems exaggerated.

Great restaurant with normal prices for everyone

Very nice little cuddly Italian. We ordered pizzas and they were all delicious. Most importantly, the dough was delicious. If we happen to be in the area again we would stop by again.

After a day of motorcycling we accepted the hotel's recommendation. The garden is very nice and the service too. The food, however, is subpar. Ordered a grill plate for €22 and waited forever. There were only a few fries on the plate and they were old and left out in the air for a long time. There was also very little meat and it was fried for so long that it was so tough that I left it alone. My wife's burger wasn't what a burger should be either! Please don't eat here, money wasted!
