Ristorante Pizzeria Calabria in Kirchzarten

We were there last night without a reservation. We waited less than 10 minutes for a free table and were given a glass of Prosecco to thank us for the wait. Very attentive! The pizza was one of the best we've ever eaten. The service was very friendly and attentive! It was also very cozy! We'll definitely be back next time we're in the area! Highly recommended, and it's no surprise it was so busy!

We spontaneously came here for the first time. The service was very friendly, helpful and attentive. Even without a reservation, we got a spot straight away. The food came relatively quickly after ordering. We generally didn't have to wait long. There is a good selection of dishes. The portions are large. You will definitely get full here. It tastes very tasty! Great value for money, totally affordable. The location is nice. It was quiet around and there were plenty of places to sit outside. Generally very satisfactory! We'd love to come back :)

Today was another Calabria Sunday with friends and family, which we enjoyed with excellent service and wonderful food. The food was once again wonderfully fresh and very tasty – there's also a new highlight: gnocchi pesto, incredibly good! You have to try this dish!

We had 3 calamari and 1 risotto, all very delicious. Our only criticism is that some bread would have been the icing on the cake with the calamari.

The food is delicious, and the prices are reasonable. Unfortunately, there are too many tables for the limited staff. The waiters are constantly stressed and unfortunately overlook empty drinks or whether dessert is requested.

Das Calabria als eine Sportgaststätte im üblichen Sinn zu beschreiben wäre falsch. Es gibt eine gute Küche, ein mediterran geprägte Speisekarte, ergänzt mit Speisen nach saisonalem Angebot. Ein aufmerksames Personal mit einem ansprechenden Innenraum und schöner Terrasse. Die Preise sind angenehm moderat. Im Dreisamtal mittlerweile eine Institution. Das zeigt sich auch an dem enormen Zustrom der unterschiedlichsten Gäste. Ob Familie, Inhaber von Unternehmen, Sportler, Genießer. Während der Hauptzeiten der Öffnung wird das Ristorante sehr gut besucht., was dann zu diesen Stoßzeiten verständlicherweise zu Wartezeiten führen kann. Wir gehen zu den entspannteren Zeiten sehr gerne zum Calabria und genießen einen guten Service und leckere Gerichte von klassisch Mediterran bis zum perfekten Rumpsteak. Great place to visit, especially if you're staying over in the camping place in Kirchzarten. + Nice, authentic atmosphere, with Italian radio/music playing in the background, and Italian staff, and a cozy overall feeling (especially indoors); + Delicious pizza; + Good prices (better than in most other restaurants in Kirchzarten. 55 Euro for 3 pizzas & drinks for a family of four); + Only a short walk from the camping place. We'll definitely go eat there again.

Often ordering food to pick up, but lately there have been more and more errors in the orders. Sometimes the salad is left out of dishes and the pasta is missing. Really a shame. EDIT: 8 MONTHS LATER Exactly the same junk, if you want to pick something up here you should be prepared to go there several times. Or really checks every little thing. I think at some point the excuse “there’s a lot going on” will be worn out. I'll try again in 8 months.

As a vegetarian, I would have liked a little more choice, but you can also put together your “dish dish”. Pizza/Pinsa absolutely recommended. I had the Cannelloni al Forno - very tasty.

We arrived at the restaurant late at night. It was very well attended. We received a super friendly welcome. The Prosciutto e Funghi pizza and Wiener Schnitzel we ordered were served quickly. The Aperol Spritz was in a very good mixing ratio. Everything tasted really delicious. Top attentive service from Seschan. Very cozy atmosphere! We were kindly allowed to take a bottle of Prosecco with us as a take away. We are already looking forward to the next time.

The food is really really good. But I didn't feel anything of the great atmosphere and the legendary friendliness of the staff, either on the phone when ordering or on site.

Delicious pizza and pasta with a very nice service team. In summer the terrace with the beautiful view is great. Furnishings are very kitschy and not my taste. All in all, a top address!

We were on holiday in Kirchzarten and had a good time at Calabria every evening. All I ate was lace, pasta, meat, pizza. Best steak I've ever eaten!!! The service is simply incredibly good, we felt very comfortable and welcome. 😊

Really delicious food, rustic atmosphere and very nice service. Edit: We ate here a total of 4 times in the evening during our stay at the trade fair and ate everything from the menu. We weren't disappointed once. Everything - without exception - was very, very tasty and is rarely found in this form. If one of us came anywhere near it again, we would come back in a heartbeat.

Die guten Bewertungen kann ich nicht nachvollziehen. Wir hatten einen Tisch reserviert und als wir ankamen, war die Terrasse schon überfüllt. Wir hätten einen viel zu kleinen Tisch ganz außen haben können. Trotz guten Wetters sind wir dann lieber rein gegangen. Der Tisch wurde nur auf unser Nachfragen einmal genervt kurz abgewischt. Dann wurde es auch drinnen immer voller. Service absolut schlecht und langsam. Getränke und Speisen durfte man nicht zusammen aufgeben. Alles dauerte ewig. Da wir mit Kleinkind waren, haben wir Vorspeise und Pizzen gleichzeitig bestellt. Als ein Nebentisch Essen bekam, der deutlich nach uns bestellt hatte, fragten wir nach. Wie bei allem hieß es „gleich“. Dann kam die Vorspeise, aber ohne Pizzen. Auf erneute Nachfrage, hieß es genervt „gleich“. Als mein Mann den Kellner, bei dem wir bestellt hatten, ansprechen wollte, ging dieser und ein anderer sagte, wir sollten doch relaxen, es wäre voll. Als unsere Pizzen kamen, haben wir das letzte Mal einen jungen Kellner gesehen. Ab da wollte man uns nicht mehr bedienen. Ein älterer Kellner kam dann nach dem Essen von der Theke, um abzuräumen und zu fragen wie es war. Ihm sagten wir, dass das Essen sehr gut war (wirklich lecker!), aber der Service gar nicht geht. Er entschuldigte sich, dass sie bald im Urlaub sind und man sich auf die jungen Leute nicht verlassen könne. Der war wirklich nett und bemüht. Er hat dann auch kassiert, weil durchweg alle jungen Kellner uns ignorierten und uns aus dem Weg gingen. Sehr schade, vor allem, weil wir hinterher von mehreren genau diese Erfahrung hörten.

Starter and main course at the same time, but since the main course was very hot it was fine. Food really very good and reasonable prices.

Ate twice. Very tasty pizzas! Unfortunately we had to wait a long time for the bill the first time. The 2nd time, after 1 hour and 15 minutes, still no pizzas. Asked twice if it would take long, it would happen soon, unfortunately not. Not acceptable with 2 small children. We got up and finally got the pizzas. Apparently neither the kitchen nor the service can always handle the crowds. Too bad, very good address for a very tasty pizza.

Kurzum, wir waren enttäuscht! Wir hatten mehr erwartet. Der Salat war überwiegend grün und lieblos angerichtet, dazu eine zu starke Balsamicosauce. Preis: 10 Euro. Die Pizza, die ich dort vor ein paar Jahren gegessen habe, war diesmal nicht zu vergleichen! Ich finde es schade, dass ein so schöner Laden eine solche Qualität anbietet. Früher war das anders!

We've often picked up pizza, even late at night. Always fresh and hot from the oven, always tastes good and good value for money. Went there for dinner for the second time this evening, unfortunately the first time we received the wrong dish, which wasn't that dramatic because it was just a salad. Today was extremely busy and we had to wait a long time for our food and then unfortunately the wrong main course came. If we had sent it back, we could have both eaten alone or one of us could have had a cold meal because we had to wait again. Unfortunately the mood changed a bit, there was little understanding from the staff, the wrong food could have been left on the house. A pity! We will certainly order again, but whether we will come back to eat remains questionable.

I had a very good pizza from the stone oven there. The restaurant is located directly at the sports field and is therefore easy to reach by car. You can sit outside and inside. The service was very friendly. What was impressive was the Indian brain, which can remember all the orders without writing them down. In terms of price it is within reason. Will come back when I'm in the area.

It is recommended that tourists don't come in if you have nothing to do. The service attitude is very poor. It took a long time to bring the menu and the food tastes terrible. I don't know what happened. I thought it was an authentic Italian restaurant, but it really doesn't taste good. Only the atmosphere and environment look good. I feel a bit discriminated against.

Great pizzeria with very good prices.

Well, I would like to give stars for food and service. We haven't gotten that far. Terrace well filled but still a few free spaces available. Since no one was there, we sat down at a table. After about 20 minutes I spoke to the waitress, who had ignored us until then. After speaking to me, I was told that the table had been reserved. No place settings or reserved sign available. Then we were seated at another table. He wanted to come back there straight away. Well other guests seem to have been more important. After another 15 minutes we left! I think half an hour should be enough to at least get drinks served. So we left without having accomplished anything. Now another catering establishment will hopefully be happy with our money.

Stopped here spontaneously after a trip. Pizza, pasta, tiramisu, cappuccino from portafilter, Everything really really good. Children were quickly looked after. Attentive and friendly Italian staff. Great ambience. Price performance is consistent. Very satisfied and I would happily recommend it.

So I was a little disappointed after our first visit... That was about three months ago!!! Since I always give everyone a second chance, I visited this restaurant again about two weeks later. The service staff could remember us straight away, which I found really pleasant. The food was outstanding. From the starter, main course and then coffee and grappa for dad... Since this really successful second attempt, I have to admit that we have become regular customers. I've eaten there five times so far and have always been impressed. You can simply taste the goods, the quality and the love for preparing them. There's real love in there!!!!!!! About the service: Seyhan (I hope I'm writing you correctly, my friend) is, in my opinion, one of the best service people I've ever met....... A man who doesn't matter whether it's a table of four or not a 10 person table. He memorizes drinks, appetizers and main course all in his head at the same time. When food or drinks arrive, he doesn't have to ask how many and who had what. Even when it comes to the bill, he knows what each person had. And not just with three or four tables at the same time, but also with the hut full!!!! I'm just saying Chapot... He's also extremely good with guests. He has a sensitivity for what you like. We are the kind of people who always like to laugh and have fun, and you've come to the right place with him....... I now celebrate birthdays there, have business dinners and private evenings... Das Essen ist super. Preis Leistung auch in Ordnung. Ambiente sehr angenehm und der Service zuvorkommend und dankbar. Jeder der in diesem Ort ist, sollte diese pizzeria mal besucht haben.
