My wife and I have been dining at this restaurant for years and are always very satisfied with the quality and the friendly service.

I ate very well and the staff was very helpful.

Friendly owners, good value for money, both in terms of breakfast and dinner, as well as cleanliness. The room had a large bathroom. The S-Bahn (suburban train) to Titisee or Freiburg is nearby, and the hotel is centrally located in Kirchzarten.

The rooms are newly renovated. Very tastefully decorated. It was clean and well-maintained. The dinner was good value for money. It's nice that they also offer half portions. Breakfast was also good and plentiful. It was a bit noisy in the evenings as the train station is across the street. The staff/owners could be a bit friendlier.

Room 17 has just been renovated. It's a beautiful room with everything you need (maybe a refrigerator). We enjoyed a delicious breakfast. Not fancy, but everything you could want. We ate dinner at the hotel once. It was clean, tasty, and the menu wasn't very extensive, but the service was friendly. From the outside, it might not be recommended, but otherwise, it's a top-notch hotel/restaurant in Kirchzarten. We enjoyed two days of German hospitality.

We have eaten here several times and can only warmly recommend the kitchen. The rump steak is an insider tip, tender as butter and just as desired every time. The senior manager always serves us very nicely. We feel very comfortable here, the atmosphere is also nice. It is always advisable to reserve in advance.

Super nice hosts in a beautiful house with completely newly renovated rooms! Very good food in the restaurant! The breakfast was rich, but still not too much on offer. The location at the train station makes it super convenient to get to Freiburg etc. Despite the location, the rooms are quiet when the windows are closed and you can sleep well. Good accommodation that deserves 5 stars.

There are rooms available, they don’t rent out for one night, I give this establishment a minus, I don’t recommend it

We had dinner in the restaurant, very nice, and the food was delicious. First a very delicious salad and then one of the specialties, the chicken which was exquisite.

We were just having dinner at the inn. The star is for the wonderful salad and the good cheese spaetzle. Unfortunately we received a totally oxidized wine. Can happen. But after my comment I was asked if I knew anything about wine... Since I work in the wine trade, I understand something about it. Unfortunately, none of the hosts were interested and came to the table even though they were standing around... It's a shame, it's a shame, we were looking forward to a nice end to our vacation.

The food was very good and the salad was also very tasty. I had game ragout, very tender. There were three of us and every meal was very good. The Alte Post is really recommended. Opposite the train station Kirchzarten.

Umbestellungen kosten 1€ auch wenn man auf Grund einer Allergie die Kerne auf dem Beilagensalat weglässt !!

Wir hatten ein äußerst leckeres Cordon Bleu, erlebten eine sehr freundliche Seniorchefin und aßen einen tollen Salat. Die gemütliche in hellem Holz gehaltene Stube hat uns gut gefallen. Schön, dass die Juniorchefin dabei ist! Weiter so - wir kommen gerne wieder!

Wir haben im Restaurant gegessen, da die Aussenterrasse leider schon besetzt und reserviert war. 1/2 Hähnchen als Spezialität des Hauses war lecker. Ebenso der Wurstsalat und das Jägerschnitzel. Alles großzügige Portionen.Preis Leistung ok. Empfehlenswert

Das Gasthaus wird mit Herz geführt. Das merkt man daran, dass die Zimmer sehr sauber gehalten sind. Beim Frühstück werden sich Präferenzen (Tee/Kaffee) gemerkt. Ein sehr guter Ort um ein Zimmer zu mieten! Die Wirte sind super!

Bestes Hähnchen im Umkreis. Bestes Filetsteak im Dreisamtal. Essen ist sehr gut und auch günstig. Es gibt Hähnchen mit Pommes auch zum mitnehmen.

Sehr freundliches Personal, Standort direkt am Bahnhof gegenüber. Daher gutes Parkplatzangebot. Essen ist gut bürgerlich, auf freundliche Nachfrage gibts auch was Veganes.

Wir kommen gerne regelmäßig hier her zum Abendessen. Das Essen ist ausgezeichnet und das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis stimmt. Die Wirtsleute und das Personal sind sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Wir kommen immer wieder gerne in die Alte Post

Hier kann man sehr gut essen und trinken. Mit einer sehr freundlichen und ruhigen Atmosphäre. Essen und Trinken kamen sehr schnell und richtig lecker. Ein kleiner Geheimtipp. Jeder Zeit wieder.
