Very tasty food! We read in advance that the prices were high, but we can compare them with the average prices of the Dutch catering industry... Waitress helped us very sweetly in English.

With all benevolence towards the gastronomy, what we were able to experience here today eludes any of the last reviews we read. Although the service was very friendly and accommodating, the food was disappointing. The salad had significant brown spots, the chicken breast was dry, our children's mayonnaise was full of hair, the not exactly cheap "Black Forest" cordon bleu was not cooked through and was breaded with panko breading... Quote from a personal criticism of the waiter who was incapable of criticism, which we found positive up to this point: Oh, the first guest in 4 years who noticed that it was panko breadcrumbs... People today have no idea about food anymore 🫣🤔 The fries were fried for the second time and the nuggets were the cheapest finished product that could have been presented to a guest. There was no apology for the situation, no “espresso” or something similar on the house or any other gesture of insight…. For the first time in our lives we compensated for this by stubbornly paying the required bill amount without leaving a cent of the tip... Didn't feel good... When it comes to the ambience, it should be mentioned that there is absolutely no attention to detail here. No decoration, cutlery comes after the meal, chairs in disarray and tables smeared…. Hopefully you learn from this open and well-intentioned review and don't get carried away with self-congratulation and anger at the reviewing customer. The previous reviews actually show that things are apparently getting better, or they are only pleading for tourism...

Very tasty food, only thought the salad was too sour, too much vinegar. The cordonblue is filled with Black Forest Schinken and Münsterthaler cheese. Was very tasty. The stuffed chicken pasta was also very tasty. Friendly service, dog was allowed on the terrace. The prices are slightly higher than normal.

Were here for the first time and certainly not the last time. Service top, food Tip Top Chef also very friendly, that's how it has to be Nowadays in a restaurant. Keep it up, we'll be happy to come back. Kind regards and continued success.

We are here all the time, very tasty food! Great lunch menu and menu with seasonally changing dishes and special requests are accommodated if possible. The atmosphere is very cozy and nice for chatting.

We were in Kirchzarten as part of a short vacation. It was a rainy Tuesday evening. The restaurant was well attended, mainly by holidaymakers. Luckily we had reserved in advance. We were greeted warmly and quickly shown to the table. The decor was modern rustic. We felt very comfortable. It smells delicious of fresh basil from the neighboring table. The young service team was friendly and helpful, but not all of them were specialists. The food (steak plate) was very tasty and reasonably priced. However, you had to choose between salad or fries, for both there would have been a surcharge. Well, you can do it without fries.😂, otherwise you would have quickly been around EUR 25. We had a lovely evening. If the weather is good you can also sit outside. Unfortunately we weren't able to. So a clear recommendation from us 👍.

Guter Service, Essen gut aber nicht mehr. Salat mit Allerweltsdressing und schon vorbereitet. Soße beim Cordon Blue aus der Box. Tischdecklein auf den Tischen alle, die ich sehen konnte, versifft. Lieber keine als solche, finde ich. Schade

After waiting 10 minutes, we got the tickets ourselves at the counter. We then ordered. The food came after about 30 minutes. My children had schnitzel with fries. Your food was really tasty. I ordered a salad with shrimps. Unfortunately, this never reached me. When paying, the gentleman from the service said: "It can happen here that you forget something." Not even an apology from him 😞. Without words!!!

Considering it was a Saturday evening and very crowded, the drinks and food came surprisingly quickly. The portions such as dips with bread, filled ravioli and burgers with fries were very tasty and plentiful. Friendly service with a nice tone. Good price/performance ratio.

Super nice staff! :) Unfortunately the small According to starter plate not gluten-free as advertised on the menu with the gluten-free symbol (couscous is also on it) and the fried potatoes were cut extremely thin and came into the pan raw (or almost raw) - onions burnt, most of the potato slices and the bacon unfortunately also extremely dark/black-brown to burnt, but a few potato slices were barely fried or almost raw... a shame

Trotz der Hauptzeit und vollem lokal haben wir ein schön seviertes und leckeres Essen von der netten Bedienung bekommen 🥰 Nur zu empfehlen (schlechte Bewertung nicht berechtigt)

After otherwise rather good experiences, now the great situation. Family dinner a la carte on Saturday evening. After ordering drinks (instead of before) we were informed that almost everything on the weekly menu was no longer available. An absurdity. Otherwise you would definitely have left again. Unfortunately, the alternatives chosen were unsuccessful across the board. A tasteless tuna steak with a totally acidic beetroot (too much lemon) and cold An indefinable risotto also cold. Also the cauliflower soup was poorly seasoned and cold. Only the Kässpatzen were okay. Every additional order for drinks was a test of patience. Likewise the dessert. Service staff were friendly but inattentive. It's a shame not again.

Yesterday we had dinner in the restaurant with three people. First impression very comfortable. We were welcomed very friendly. The food was good and plentiful. Price-performance is definitely right. However, what I would like to emphasize once again were the very friendly and attentive employees. We felt very comfortable there and would definitely recommend it. Gladly again..😊

Spontaneously went for a voucher book meal, was well attended, were lucky to get a seat, attentive staff, good service, food was delicious. We'd love to come back.

Wir waren mit der Familie (5 Personen) am Samstag Abend hier und alle Essen, von Vorspeise bis Dessert waren sehr lecker. Trotz dessen, dass das Lokal komplett voll war mussten wir nicht lange warten. Unser Kellner war ebenfalls super freundlich und hat trotz Stress Ruhe bewahrt und war sehr aufmerksam und immer für einen Spaß zu haben.

Wir waren insgesamt 6 Personen. Wir hatten sehr viel Spaß. Der Ober hinterließ einen entspannten und sehr freundlichen Ausklang. Wir waren mit allem sehr zufrieden. Immer gerne wieder.

Man muss gottlos lange auf sein Essen warten, überall Tierhaare (nichts für Leute mit einer Tierhaar Allergie). Die Kellner sind auch nicht gerade höflich…

Der Burger war lecker, das Bier war perfekt (Temperatur, Geschmack, Kohlensäuregehalt), die Bedienung war sehr nett. Gerne wieder!

Laden 18 Uhr halb leer! Essen nur an der Theke möglich, da alles andere angeblich reserviert. Keine Willkommenskultur! Kellner kommt mit Karte und sagt „In einer Stunde müssen Sie aber fertig sein. Hier ist auch reserviert. Wir sind dann gegangen. Fazit 1xmal und nie wieder. Kirchzarten hat nette Alternativen, z.B. Fiesta!!!

Das Essen war leider nur mittelmäßig. Preise dafür eher gehoben. Service war sehr freundlich und man sitzt gemütlich.

Toller sehr aufmerksamer Service, Das Essen von Vorspeise bis Nachtisch sehr lecker. Auf jeden Fall empfehlenswert.

Super junges und motiviertes Team. Tolle Küche mit sehr aufmerksamen köchen. Hier zu sehen : köstliches Colaweizen mit einem gruß aus der Küche!

Wir waren wieder sehr zufrieden. Essen und Trinken, angenehmes Ambiente und sehr tolles und aufmerksames Personal. Auch wenn mal die Pasta mal nicht so warm war, es wurde sofort behoben und eine Aufmerksamkeit gab es auch noch. Viiiielen Dank, bis demnächst.

Prima restaurant met degelijke Duitse kaart. Gerechten worden prima bereid en de, wat leeftijd betreft, jonge bediening is echt super vriendelijk. Zowel terras als binnen is prima vertoeven!

Heerlijk gegeten en gedronken! Vriendelijke en behulpzaam personeel! Vooral de cordon bleu is zeer goed.

We had food here two out our four nights whilst in Kirchzarten. It is very hard to compare the schnitzel with our other choice of eating house as they were both equally as good. The staff were polite and pleasant and spoke very good English although i was trying my German. Would recommend but do book a table beforehand especially if you want to sit outside

We booked a table for a family meal at the end of our vacation. The table service was excellent and the food was great too. I started with the prawn dish and that was one of the best starters I've ever had. The waiter handled our questions and queries excellently. Good cocktail menu too!

Super leckeres Essen. Alles frisch zubereitet und vieles selbst gemacht. Eine klare Empfehlung. Ambiente ist auch top. Wir kommen gern wieder.

Hier twee keer (2 en 9 aug.) gegeten tijdens onze vakantie. Na een wat teleurstellende ervaring op de camping (Herr Fröhlich) is dit een prima én gezelliger alternatief als je gewoon een schnitzel o.i.d. wil eten. Leuke zitjes en Duitse gezelligheid. Verbeterpunt is de wachttijd tussen bestellen en eten, deze is behoorlijk lang.

Nur Aussengastro. genutzt und leckere Rhabarber-Schorle getrunken.

Das Bier war gut, die Bratkartoffeln angebrannt, die Sitzverteilung chaotisch, das Personal unfreundlich, auf einen Besuch kann man verzichten.

Das ist allerdings zu empfehlen 👊

Heel fijn restaurant met o.a. een uitgebreide Duiste kaart en overige producten. De hamburger zijn echt een aanrader.

Het eten was goed. Wij hadden die dag alleen pech met de keuken die onderbemand was, waardoor wij vijf kwartier op ons eten moesten wachten. De bediening was heel vriendelijk en deed zijn best en bood de koffie/dessert gratis aan. Dit was hopelijk overmacht en loopt alles nu weer op rolletjes.

Abbiamo mangiato bene in un luogo con arredi moderni che caratterizzano il locale. Cibo e servizio ottimo prezzo adeguato

Das Essen war durchweg mittelmässig bis schlecht (Fertigsaucen, Salat), die Bedienung leider extrem langsam und die Küche schlecht vorbereitet (die Hälfte aller Gerichte waren 1 Stunde vor Schluss nicht mehr verfügbar). Daher: es gibt eine Menge besserer Alternativen in der Umgebung. Lieber dort versuchen.

Gute bürgerliche Kost in Richtung "Biergartenessen". P/L in Ordnung. Service gut. Ambiente auch gut. Sonntags und Montags geschlossen. Ruhetage. Schade.

Tolles Essen nur der Service wirkte etwas überfordert.

Leider mussten wir recht lang auf die Mahlzeit warten obwohl erst wenige Gäste im Lokal waren, zudem waren die Spätzle nur lauwarm und die Teller kalt ansonsten war das Cordonbleu gut. Vorspeise wurde mit dem Hauptgang serviert.

Sehr leckere Küche, freundliches Team, auf der Menükarte für jeden etwas, tolle Gerichte. Hat alle Erwartungen übertroffen. Danke!!!

Das Essen war leider nicht so gut, die Spätzle waren kalt und ohne Geschmack. Beim Salat hat der Knoblauch dominiert. Das Cordon Bleu war ganz gut.

We bestelden een zoete witte wijn. Er wordt zonder ons te informeren, de duurste wijn op tafel gezet. De biefstuk (je moet de stukjes zoeken in een overvolle bord sla) was niet gekruid, vet en smaakte niet. Ons zien ze daar niet meer.

Leckeres Essen, sehr freundlicher und schneller Service. Direkt in der Fußgängerzone gelegen. Man kann dort nett draußen sitzen.

Spontan ohne Reservierung eingekehrt gegen 19 Uhr. Biergartenbereich war voll belegt. Drinnen gab es ein nettes Plätzchen, gute Atmosphäre. Aufgrund Personalmangels kam es zu Verzögerungen bei Getränke/Speisebestellung, doch waren wir recht zufrieden mit der Auswahl an schwäbischen/badischen Tapas. Ein netter Abend.

Reservierter Tisch war nicht da bzw. war nicht verfügbar und das Essen war ranzig. Auch nachdem dies zweimal gesagt wurde, passierte nichts. Man nahm es einfach nur zur Kenntnis.

Wir haben uns bei Max sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Mahlzeiten waren sehr gut und auch schön serviert. Wir kommen gerne wieder.
