Often ordering food to pick up, but lately there have been more and more errors in the orders. Sometimes the salad is left out of dishes and the pasta is missing. Really a shame. EDIT: 8 MONTHS LATER Exactly the same junk, if you want to pick something up here you should be prepared to go there several times. Or really checks every little thing. I think at some point the excuse “there’s a lot going on” will be worn out. I'll try again in 8 months.

A beautiful, traditional inn with very good cuisine and friendly service. Taste, portion size are worth the price.

Nice beer garden, simple, honest food. BUT: It's rarely open. Only once a week. We recently drove there for free. With all due respect, but they could at least open on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays. Apparently, they can make a good living from being open one day a week and hosting a few events. So all the complaining from the competition seems exaggerated.

We went there regularly with a large group about a year ago and had very fond memories of it. Now we were back in Kirchzarten and thought, why not go to the syringe house? There for dinner on Saturday, the visit was unfortunately an extreme disappointment. After three attempts (because one of the selected dishes was suddenly out), the order was placed and we waited hungry. The large mixed salad was a pretty sad, small salad with little variety in a large bowl, cheeky for just under €12, but everything is getting more expensive, of course. However, the main course was the reason why I felt compelled to write a review. Pork medallions with spaetzle and mushroom sauce were still okay, although the sauce probably never saw any real mushroom. Nothing special though. The tarte flambée was cold, most of the edge had already broken off and the part that had not yet been opened was already burnt and dark brown to black. If I hadn't been extremely hungry, I would have returned the food. The very young and sometimes overwhelmed staff apologized but didn't show any signs of being forthcoming, so we left quickly and disappointed.

I was passing through and parked literally next to it, so I decided to go for a beer and I was not disappointed. Delicious beer, nice service and friendly people. Regards.
