Today we bought a whole chicken and fries to take home. Unfortunately the chicken was very dry, smelled a bit strange and we had the impression that it might have been warmed up from the day before. That was definitely the first and last time we ate there. The grilled sausages also looked pretty shriveled on the grill. It's a shame - apparently there are no really good chicken carts in Freiburg anymore.

We had a variety of dishes, all portions were small and a bit expensive. The beer selection is very small, as far as I know there was only the Fürstenberg 🤢 in a plastic cup. Far too few staff and not enough bar, you had to wait forever. In addition, there were backpack checks at the entrance. Bringing drinks wasn't allowed. Previously that was never a problem...

This is the first time I'm here. The service is quick and very nice. I had several sauces, you can choose which meat you want. First of all I can say that it is a very good place and highly recommended. 5⭐️

Wir kannten bisher nur das abgepackte Hof-Eis und haben uns bei einem Stadtbummel durch Freiburg gefreut, eine Eisdiele mit offenen Sorten des Herstellers zu entdecken. 1,20 € für eine (üppige!) Kugel ist ein mittlerweile eher günstiger Preis und geschmacklich (einmal Joghurt-Waldfrucht, einmal Kaffee) waren wir sehr zufrieden. Die Auswahl war groß, es gab geschätzt an die 20 Sorten. Beim nächsten Freiburg-Besuch kommen wir wieder!

The inn impresses with its friendly and courteous staff. The ambience is rustic and designed in an unusual way - really an eye-catcher. We ate asparagus with schnitzel and once with rump steak. Both were perfectly prepared. The taste of the food was excellent – ​​a real treat for the palate. The price-performance ratio is absolutely right here. Unfortunately, I didn't finish the steak in the end, which wasn't well received by the staff - I'm sorry about that!🥰 A real insider tip for everyone who appreciates a special flair. If I lived nearby, I would be here regularly.

What a great local! I like how it's set up! It has such a special feeling. I come from Thuringia and was visiting friends. This allowed me to visit the local. And what can I say? Sooooo friendly staff. The food is so incredibly delicious and the portions are simply huge! The price-performance ratio is unbeatably good! Big praise to the chef, but also to the very courteous waiter. A young man with long hair if I remember correctly. Keep it up! I will come again. 🤤🤤🤤 Really one of the best places I've ever eaten. 🫶🏻

Der Besuch im Katzentempel Freiburg war ein rundum schönes Erlebnis. Besonders positiv fand ich, dass sehr auf das Wohl der Katzen geachtet wird. Es gibt klare Regeln, die sicherstellen, dass die Tiere ihren Raum haben und sich wohlfühlen. Man merkt, dass es ihnen gut geht – und trotzdem kamen sie ab und zu vorbei, sodass man sie streicheln konnte, wenn sie es wollten. Die Atmosphäre war angenehm ruhig und entspannt, perfekt zum Abschalten. Wir haben zwar nur etwas getrunken, aber es war sehr lecker. Außerdem ist die große Auswahl an veganen Alternativen ein Pluspunkt. Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis passt für das schöne Ambiente und das Konzept absolut. Ich komme auf jeden Fall gerne wieder!
