The beer fountain is a must! Super delicious food! Especially the homemade spaetzle. Generous portions and good value for money. The staff is very friendly and efficient. Four-legged friends are also welcome. Great beer selection. Good outdoor seating. Larger groups are advised to make reservations. Always busy. There is no on-site parking, but there is plenty of free parking nearby. Takeout is also available. A definite recommendation!

If you want to eat well and fairly, it's always worth a visit. Prices have also increased considerably recently, service is good, there are many specials, and there are a variety of daily specials. They're also constantly investing in the restaurant. Many positive changes have been made over the years.

We went there on a Tuesday afternoon, and it was really good. Many tables were occupied and the food (cheese spaetzle) was really great at a really fair price. Keep it up. Great service and a warm welcome.

The food is delicious, the staff is friendly. They're pretty fast! The prices are absolutely reasonable. The interior has also improved since the back room was renovated a few years ago, and it's no longer a smoking room, which I personally prefer.

Today I had lunch there with a friend. We both ordered the schnitzel the turkey version. It was awesome. Generous portions, tasty and nice service lady. Atmosphere outside was beautiful. But one minor complaint is it took forever to bring us the check!

We're campers and regularly stop at the parking lot by the stadium in Freiburg. A visit to the Bierbrunnen is a must. Absolute recommendation, service great, eat home-style food with huge portions. Beer garden great menu. We are nomads and eat somewhere different every week. This really stood out from the last 100 restaurants in a positive way.

Delicious home-style and German food. Service is courteous. The landlord/owner is very friendly and guest-oriented. At the sports club's home games, however, it is very well attended before and after the game. Then you shouldn't expect a quiet and relaxed atmosphere. A must for fans!

The service is very good, fast and friendly. The food is traditional and good. The portions are great. We had salad, pancakes with mushroom cream sauce, which were very tasty. Maybe the menu could be made a little more appealing. We had to order extra cream sauce for the pancakes, there was quite a bit, but that wasn't a problem. The prices are on the high side, but we overlooked that because of the delicious home-cooked food. We can definitely recommend this quaint pub.

Unfortunately, the Jägerschnitzel we ordered came without breading. When I asked, it was explained to me that only a Wienerschnitzel with breading was served and that you had to order it with extra sauce to get a normal Jägerschnitzel. Other employees were having fun in the background. The spaetzle, like the side salad, were rather mediocre. When another guest asked about dinner, it was pointed out that you should hurry when ordering. Underground.

Always great when, like here, you are served quickly and nicely and the food tastes great and is well sized! My personal favorite are the veal sausages with fried potatoes and salad 😁.

Staff totally unfriendly. It was only when we placed the order that we were informed that the pizza dough would probably run out. And we would have to choose the overpriced grill plates/platters. This is peasant trapping. Then we left!

An absolute highlight in Freiburg! The beer fountain offers a fantastic selection of beers and a great atmosphere. The service is always friendly and accommodating. Been here several times and found it to be good. The selection of food and drinks is good. There is also a cheap lunch offer and a special day every evening from Sunday to Wednesday. Price/performance fits

Very friendly shop! Although the outside screen failed during Streich's last game against Union, the atmosphere was still suitably relaxed. A truly "warm" place, supported not only by the friendly, attentive service, but also by the pleasantly refreshing "normal" audience. Here you can talk to everyone, enjoy a freshly tapped drink in a glass and the generous portions on your plate. A wonderful place to unwind and enjoy existence. Hopefully it will stay that way for a long time and will never be converted into a soulless chic pub!

For me one of the best restaurants in Freiburg. The food is really delicious and yet not expensive. The portions are always optimal and the service staff are always friendly and quick. I didn't like it at all and the food was just bad. I had a cordon bleu with croquettes and mixed salad. The cordon bleu and the croquettes were very dry, the gravy served with them was so diluted that it was actually just brown water. The salad was drowned in dressing. When I was serving him, I had the impression that he was incredibly annoyed. The ambience - well, beer pub. But I knew that. So I can't complain.

We were there with 2 families with a total of 5K children and had a really good meal at a reasonable price! The service was very nice and the atmosphere was really good, everyone got an extra table together. And all of this at a stupid time like 3 p.m. Excellent!

Essen zum mitnehmen muss man selbst einpacken am Tisch, Bedienung lästern am Tresen über Gäste und das sichtlich! Habe Radler bestellt und Pils bekommen , Bedienung meinte sehr überzeugend das es nicht so ist !

Schnitzel war richtig gepresst also meine Meinung keine Pfannen Schnitzel sondern Tk ware früher war das Schnitzel meiner Meinung Viel besser.

Super Bewirtung und leckeres Essen. Eine große Auswahl an essen und die Bedienung ist immer super nett. Kann ich nur empfehlen.

Nettes Lokal im alten Stil, obwohl wir nicht reserviert hatten wurden wir höflich empfangen und uns wurde sofort ein Tisch zugeteilt, höfliche Servicekräfte, Essen war gut, hätte etwas heißer sein können, die extra Karte für Feldsalat Spezialitäten hat uns gut gefallen, Preis/Leistung ist ok, waren im Großen und Ganzen zufrieden und kommen gerne wieder.

Good place to grab a beer before going to the EuropaPark Stadium. The atmosphere on a match day is great.

Das Essen war wie immer sehr lecker....der Service war aufmerksam und schnell....aber wir hatten explizit 1 bestimmten Tisch reserviert und zugesagt bekommen, der dann nicht frei war. Man hat uns ins Nebenzimmer geleitet indem ein grosser Tisch mit Menschen einer anderer Kultur saß mit Kindern die sich leider nicht zu benehmen wussten und Eltern denen es egal war. Alle im Nebenzimmer haben gegessen und sind schnell gegangen .....

Das Essen ist gut und dem Preis angemessen. Wenn man etwas gutbürgerliches will, dann ist man hier richtig. Die Portionen sind wirklich ausreichend. Im vorderen Raum ist das Ambiente etwas Kneipenmäßig. Im Hinterzimmer ist es ganz angenehm. Der Service verdient auf jeden Fall volle Punktzahl. Der ist sehr gut.
